So. It started out as a normal day in Maple.
I logged on my Bandit and talked to my guild.
After I go "AFK" (I love faking AFK. It gets me ignored in so many cases.) my guild leader and a member from the guild started talking.
Stuff like "how much will u charge me for this training" and "i cant do vac though".
A few days later, I get curious.
So I go "AFK" again.
They started talking... again.
"i hack 4 u 4 1 hour."
"but i payed u 130k!"
Blah blah blah...
That's where I jump in.
"Payed for wuuuuut?"
The hacker told me when the leader was "AFK".
It surprised me, so I talked to him the very same day, asking him why he was breaking the rules.
He acted STUPID.
ACTED. STUPID.
It pissed me off so much, and he still refuses to admit to it!
I thought I'd just let it slide for now, considering he hasn't tried to do anything to me personally.
So. Here I am today. Around 3 days later.
Asking myself "You think you're doing a GOOD thing?!"
Don't lecture me.
I know the "do"s and "don't"s of the game.
I've read the ToS.
I don't think I'm going to play this game with him any longer.
(Funny thing about it: I'm the only one who knows besides them.)

So. I ask for some of your stories. Has this happened to you? Anything similar?

If I find out any of the people on my buddy list do anything against the ToS (vaccing, godmode, AC, smuggling, etc.), I remove them from my buddy list instantly. Sometimes it gets them to stop doing it (so far it's only gotten people to stop smuggling, not AC or vaccing) and other times I never talk to the person again. It's the only thing you can do, really. It's not like reporting them does anything. You do have to be friends with the person, though, otherwise they just don't care.

If I'm to find out my guild leader was a hacker. I wouldn't hesitate to leave the guild immediately. After I took screen caps of the conversations and sent them to nexon. I don't want any association with a guild that hacks. Ultimately you yourself will be labeled a hacker even if you're not, just cause you're in that guild.

And the hacker doesn't refer to the leader.
He calls him "Turtle" which is his mule.

I'd say thats ******** up, but its ******** up when anyone hacks...

What I hate the most about hackers is...when you start arguing with them, in the end they all say the same thing, which pisses me off...

"You're just jealous because I level faster."

Seriously, what the ******** don't give a s**t if you level faster, I could level faster too if I wanted to break the ToS, but I don't want to.

Hackers are ******** stupid.

They shouldn't even be called hackers anymore, because in reality they aren't.

Hacking is things such as tapping into another computer and doing such stuff, not playing a game and using cheats.


Besides that...once, back ages ago, I was pqing on some character, in kerning pq, and one of the members was hacking, so I argue with her for a moment, and I remember her saying something stupid like:

"You should be grateful I'm training you."

Or something...

Thankfully, I was going to continue and get the pq over with and leave...but thankfully, (back in the old days, when I had a shittier internet) I dced.

Glad I didn't stay with them thankfully.

My guess is that the leader is the hacker using a different AC.
Either that, or the leader is with a hacking member.

It bugs the hell out of me.
I left the guild yesterday, taking 5 other members with me.
Probably more today.

It doesn't matter much anymore, though.
His guild has already half-fallen.
I know 5 members, one including his girlfriend, has quit MapleStory.
Add that to the 5 I took with me.

OH, and when people hack during PQs, it's best to leave quickly, grab another party, and get in.
