Too bad they cancelled it.

I've heard there will be one, but I don't know what it would be about. I've also heard there's consideration of a new series based on Kirk's Academy days. That would inevitably bring back such characters as Carol Marcus, his close friend Gary Mitchell, Finnegan, possibly Spock, and probably others I've missed.
