Note if there is a class you'd be interested in teaching, but it isn't listed, then please post about it in the Suggestions, Feedback, & Questions (SFQ) for mod input first.

If you wish you may apply for a substitute position for any class. This is a just-in-case measure so that if the regular teacher can't make it for awhile someone's standing by to take up the slack with emergency classes. A regular teacher may request preferred subs or ask that the sub use a lesson plan made or approved by that teacher.

Before applying to be a teacher, please note we expect you to have enough commitment to be a "good" teacher. Things that make a good teacher:

• Posting Weekly (or as often as you can) Assignments
  
• Giving Quizzes, Tests, Finals, Mid-terms, etc..
  
• Awarding house points, no more than 20 points, to the students who turn in their assignments.
  
• Keeping a student list with the students separated into their houses, class points list, and a a form on how to join.

First off this is never to be abused. Now there isn't always a Head in the classrooms, and so we may not
always know what's going on. BUT that doesn't mean we still don't want to know. It's your job to let us know. If that's the case and you have a complaint/concern then PM Professor_Adonis, and it will be resolved to the best of his ability. Remember if a teacher isn't posting lessons regularly, or is doing something wrong in the class, or if you feel uncomfortable for something, we WANT to know.

We treat every complaint/comment/concern about our teachers with anonymity, but before you send this, remind yourself that the matter
will be investigated.

Sometimes people don't fulfill their teaching commitment which leaves a lot of students upset when they were very excited to take the class. If you are thinking about applying, we recommend (especially if you think you may become busier towards the end of term) that you plan your lessons in advance once you're approved. That way you won't have to worry about writing a new lesson when you have finals/mid-terms in real life.

Anyone who is approved to teach a class MUST post at least three lessons (subject to change) for the term. If less than three lessons are posted, a point deduction of at least 25 points will occur. However, we do believe in "extenuating circumstances". For instance if your parent bans you from logging on, you're extremely sick, etc. then we won't penalize you as long as you inform us via the Student Message Board.
