I'm irked because my state, WI, just passed a resolution/law that effectively ends civil marriage. All in the name of banning homosexual partnership. It was probably the first thing I've ever voted on that I really cared about and it went exactly where most of us unfortunately expected it to go.

It doesn't personally effect me as my 'path' is Lutheran, but the principle of the matter is what upset me.

Wait- where that the case, it would be up to the Churches as to whom they would allow to be married. All you need is to find a Church that allows for same sex marriage. eek
