Some of you think that it isn't considered an issue in Japan and others think it is. Homosexuality is seen differently from person to person and it can also depends on the situation as well.

Do you think a straight person would go against a gay or a lesbian if he sees that person isn't the only one with a different sexual orientation around? That would put him in an embarrassed position. It could be the opposite too, being the straight person showing literallly his unconfortable feeling when around homosexuals since he knows he has back-ups if anything happens and vice versa. That would probably be the asnwer to why some of you stated that homosexuality is accepted or is considered a delicate subject in a certain city / region. That's only my theory, though.
