"I can't see Sirius being an annoying and stuck up jerk. What did he do to make you think that?"

"Sirius is a lot like James. He was busy pulling pranks and coming on to strong about being my friend."

"Oh." Lily laughed softly. "They both come on really strong, but they're total sweethearts once you get to know them, huh? I guess I'll give James the chance he's been looking for since first year."

"Exactly. And thank you. He really is a geat guy."

Lily nodded and fell silent. When the patrol was over, she gave Remus a hug and a kiss on the cheek. "I'll see you in the morning. Thanks for helping me see how I was wrong and for being here to talk to."

He hugged and kissed her back. "You're welcome. i'm always here for you. See you later. i need to go before my boyfriend starts pouting and complaining I'm late." He waved to her as he left to go to his dorm.

She chuckled. "G'night. Oh, don't forget to talk to James about breakfast tomorrow," she called, walking backwards to talk to him and not paying attention to where she was going.

James wrapped his arms around her. "You should be carefull where you're going." He smiled at her.

Lily grinned. "You worry too much. I can walk backwards just as well as forwards."

"Then I should have let you walk into me?" James smirked abit.

Remus snuck into the dorm and pounced Sirius as soon as he was close enough. He smiled nuzzling him. "I missed you."

"It would have been better than scaring me half to death. You know, you're breaking curfew being out here."

Sirius laughed and hugged Remus to himself, kissing him. "I missed you, too. These prefect patrols are going to drive me crazy."

"Well I'm sorry I scared you. And for being out after curfew. But Sirius was starting to whine about what time Remus was getting back and I deffinately didn't mind the chance to see you again so I told him I'd go look for you two." James smiled happy that Lily hadn't made him let her go yet.

He kissed him back. "Well there's nothing saying you can't join me when i have day duty. But sadly after curfew you can't come."

"I suppose I can overlook this time," she teased. "But don't let it happen again." She turned in his arms to face the seeker, their faces inches from each other.

Sirius sighed. "I know, and that's what drives me crazy. What if someone else decides to try and take you," he pouted.

Remus chuckled. "You're being jelous of Lily now? Don't worry she deffinately has her eyes on James." He kissed Sirius lovingly. "And I deffinately only have my eyes on you."

James smiled. "Ok. I'll try and be good for you. But only because you're so beautiful." He closed the distance between them and kissed her softly.

"I am not jealous of Lily Evans," Sirius retorted, feigning scandalise. "I'm worried that some other guy might try to pick you up, and not just Malfoy. Any guy."

Lily smiled against the kiss and hesitantly wrapped her arms around James's neck. She pulled away a minute later, grinning and blushing.
