"No, no, no... my plan is to send you off to find our little test subject... bring him here to me so that we can finish the transformation. Once that is done, we can begin to prepare him for when we send him out on his genocidal suicide against all the tamers that have plagued this world. HAHAHAHA!" The first figure spoke
A second figure, cloaked in shadows would cross his arms and look up at the first. "And if he resists?"
"At this point, I highly doubt that he'll resist the call to darkness. The entity inside of him must be trying to claw its way out by now." The fist stopped his laughing and pointed towards what would have appeared to be a door. "Beelzemon... you are dismissed."
Marcus awoke after his long needed rest in a cold sweat. The dream that he had just awoken from troubled him greatly, as the images still resided within the crevices of his mind.
"What the hell was that all about?!" Rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, he would realize that he was in his room in Drive City. Marcus would slowly rise to the dark walls and smell of dust showing that their present location had long been abandoned and was in need of a cleaning. He could hear the snoring of another creature and looked over to the edge of the bed to see his own partner, Gaomon, curled up with no sign of waking anytime soon.
The boy dressed in nothing but a pair of brown slacks would stretch his tired arms and roll his neck, wincing at the cracks that it made as he did. He would slowly slide his bare feet across hard, dirty carpet and over to a stand that held all his belongings. He first picked up his digivice and cycled through its contents. There were a few digimon stored there; Anubimon, Stingmon, an injured Leomon, and Gatomon. There were also a few digimon that were labeled as missing; ChaosGallantmon and ChaosPiedmon and two that were labeled as in use; Gaomon and ChaosWarGreymon. The image of a injured digimon caught his attention.
"Hiro? What the heck happened to you, buddy?" He stepped back a short distance and pointed the digivice outward,
"Leomon, Realize!" The red and purple digivice released a beam of data that spiraled into the form of a lion that was decorated in scars and burns. Once fully materialized, the digimon fell to one knee with one arm holding the other which had been greatly wounded from their last battle.
"Hiro!" the boy exclaimed as he quickly stepped towards the lion digimon.
"Are... are you okay?""I... I" his voice was at a whisper as not to draw more attention. "I've been better, but this injury is nothing.""Sure doesn't look like nothing. All this time, you've been hurting and you never said a thing!""I didn't want to trouble you, my lord!""Can it! I find it very rude for you to speak in such a way. Let me see it." Marcus's anger flashed for a brief moment and then cooled as he forcibly grabbed the digimon's seared arm and cradled it.
"This... this is not nothing." As he held the near lifeless paw of his partner and trainer, his digisoul began to glow around it, trying to fix whatever needed to be fixed.
"Tis only a flesh wound. My body will naturally heal!" The lion protested, "There is no need to be troubled with this body. If I am not healed then I am no longer fit to serve you, and if I am not fit to serve, then I am but a waste of time to you." Marcus could not understand where all this was coming from. His aura shifted from green to orange with more energy beginning to pulsate into the appendage of data.
"Where the hell is all this coming from?! After all that we've been through as a team, you still think of yourself as nothing but a pawn! You are one of the reasons that I come this far. If it weren't for you, I'd still the the weakling that I was five years ago!" Marcus continued to preach to the, unaware of how his emotion was affecting the intensity of his emitted digisoul.
There was some irony in Marcus's speech that Hiro picked up on. He figured that Marcus did not fully understand how much Hiro was actually responsible for their current situation. His held arm began to twitch with life and then began to burn. He winced in slight discomfort and then felt the urge to interrupt his tamer.
"Umm... Mas- Master Marcus." His speech has slightly broken as the energy started to move from his hand to his entire body. The sensation was like none he had ever felt, but somehow felt familiar to him. It reminded him of how it felt when he became Chaosmon, more power at his finger tips than he could actually deal with.
"Mas... Master?""Uh? What now?" Marcus awoke from his speaking coma and realized that the job was done. He looked down at the brown hand and tilted his head in slight confusion. He examined the hand, noticing that it was completely healed and then realized that he didn't feel as tired as he would usually feel.
"Interesting... I guess that does it." He smirked and then looked up at the lion, his eyes now fully adjusted to the darkness that surrounded them. "How does it feel?"The lion digimon pulled his paw from his tamer's grasp and started to flex and wiggle his hand. It felt like there was nothing wrong with it. The only thing that was different was that the coloring of the fur was much darker than it had originally been. It was seeming that everything that Marcus touched with his orange chaos aura was becoming tainted with chaotic energy. The lion stood up and stretched till he nearly touched the ceiling.
"I feel... good, really good!" From being touched by the orange aura, he could feel more power flowing through him, more so concentrated in his refined right arm.
"Thank you very much.""No thanks required. That's what a tamer does for his partner's, right?" Marcus looked away and scratched the back of his head.
"Guess it's time to get the day started?" His last statement rang with uncertainty as memories of his previous dream resurfaced to the top of his list of worries. Was it a premonition of events to come or was it just his subconsciousness becoming paranoid and creating a situations just for the sake of worry. He looked from Leomon to the sleeping Gaomon, who fur was still black with chaotic DarkSoul. He sighed and then walked over to the little dog. He began to shake the beast digimon,
"Destino... wake up." When the dog refused, he merely kicked the dog off the bed and chuckled at the reaction.
"OI! What the hell was that for?!" The dog barked in irritation. "I was having the awesomest dream about that little pooch!" He licked his lips at the thought of meeting Dante again and the fun that they would have now that its tamer, Chris, was now on their side.
"Enough of that you sick horn-dog. We've got work to do!" There was a hint of irritation in Marcus's voice as he tried to wipe the idea that Destino had planted from his mental eye. He groaned and then decided to drop it. "Come on you two... We've got some recruits to train." Marcus turned from Destino and walked back over to where Hiro was so that he could grab up all of his belongings and continue getting dressed. Soon, he, Destino, and Hiro exited the room where they were greeted by ChaosWarGreymon.

[Enter Ocelot]
A great distance from Marcus and crew, a pandamon entered the destroyed city. The digimon had a mission to carry out and not even the local gang digimon would deter him from his goal and target. As he walked through the ruined city, he came in contact with a small group of gangster digimon. They confronted him and he obliged them with an onslaught of bamboo spears that he had planted in a mere instance. Minutes later, the pandamon walked passed the dieing group of digimon and continued his walk towards the convention center where he picked up the scent of his prey.
