lurichan Ascher *moves on to the topic everyone else follows* I always used to fear that a tornado would strike NYC... but I was 5 at the time. But back then it was a serious fear for me because... I didn't know Manhattan NEVER gets tornados. That is because big cities create edies and flows in the air that help break up the large currents that might otherwise form nasty things like tornados. It only works in really big metroplian areas like NYC, Downtown Chicago, places like that with large sky scrapers and the like, but it does keep you safe. *glares at the hickness of my "city"* Why can't we have sky scrapers, or actual tall buildings? gonk So that's the science behind it? I never knew that until now... Well y'learn something every day right? ^_^

Kitsoru lurichan Ascher: ... *raises a finger and opens my mouth as if to say something, but no sound comes out of my mouth, remaining frozen in inability to find anything to say* ROFL rofl exactly what I'm thinking xd we have had a tornado warning where I live once, and it was the next town over that they had like..a mini-tornado..thing.. there was a famous tornado around here in the early 1900's, I can;t remember what year though... (I live in MA, btw) I remember there was a tornado watch one year right after my family birthday party when I was little, and I started to load up a laundry basket with my favorite stuffed animals prepared to take them with me down into the basement in case a tornado struck. I was really scared and nervous and didn't really understand the distinction between watch and warning at the time.

Broke windows ... was nearly sucked out. I am not afraid of them now ... I just get angry. I am mental like that.

The only reason I'm on the computer is it's better than sitting with a cat in a strangle hold worrying about it.

Ascher *Ascher sighs sadly at the butchering of another anime (even though it was butchered thousands of years before his own birth)* Almost all of the old anime's were horribly butchered. It's a sad fact, but they were the pioneers that helped to bring good anime to us now with decent voice actors and actresses (overall) and a more true translation. I'm sorry for the old anime that were mistreated and abused, but I think them for their sacrifices so that we might watch quality anime today.

*lol* There really is a speed racer Geico insurance comercial. Trixie is in a helicopter and says something about how he is going to drive off a cliff soon but she has some good news.... Still more amusing is the techno speed racer song (look it up if you dare).
