I tend to like the Sakura version better, though that preference has a lot to do with the poignancy of the scene it's in by the time it reaches that point in the series.
But listening to songs from Tsubasa Chronicle tend to make me start looking up and listening to Kajiura Yuki songs... such as...Grandpas Violin

I don't think I've heard any other version of it though...also surprised you listen to that kind of music...never would've picked it Tes Anthem of The Angels - Breaking Benjamin is what I've got going atm, not sure what will be next due to shuffle heart
Well, if you've never heard any other version, then I take you either never watched Tsubasa Chronicle or just don't remember it. It's been a while since I've seen it myself, but I remember that scene pretty well.
As for music, I listen to a few different types... often switching amongst them depending on what I'm in the mood for. Although, certain songs, even if they're different genres, have a certain feel to them and I may listen to songs from various genres that have this "feel" to them.
Now listening to: Just One Second - Apex remix of a London Elektricity song.

I've only seen a few of the first episodes of Tsubasa Chronicles and have a few songs from the soundtrack but can't really listen or watch any unless they're on DVD atm because I somehow managed to kill the sound card on my laptop I think sweatdrop
I watched it a few years ago before it was licensed in the US. They were fansubs, but fansubs are often good enough depending on the group. Not sure if they can be found and watched online "legally" at this point. I know the Funimation channel on youtube has at least one of the movies, though. I haven't watched the movies yet.
