Hmm... another hit, that looked like it hurt.

Ronna winced as the bludger slammed into Theo's arm on the bright side for her team it would mean a hit like that would cause some distraction-even momentarily for the red team. And, it looked like he had his hands full with Xavier. If he kept his head cool and was lucky he might come out of that battle for the quaffle alright.

She glanced back to Toby who had landed on the ground his arm and shoulder at an unnatural angle. Elli would be to him soon enough, she was sure, and her gaze went back to the game at hand and she circled the pitch considering the her next move carefully. She didn't want to target those she had done before again and again, or start a fight, instead she'd wait for potential problems for the Red Team she was on. Like she had said to the younger student that had shown up-it was unlikely she was going to make it this year-she might as well just use the try-outs to unwind, push herself, and maybe it would benefit the others to have someone else to play against?

Tanya blinked as Wren admitted to having coming to see her try-out and grinned brightly before wrapping her arms tightly around the youth. "Thanks Birdie, you're the best!" Seeing that the quaffle didn't stop being passed around just because she wasn't in the air she jumped back onto her broom and rode in the air trailing behind an older boy to keep the other's away from swiping.

Dirty blond hair tousled in the wind. He hovered high above the ground with gloved hands clasped around the school broom. The lions fought back and forth over the quaffle like a carcass of meat. The beaters were just as bloody, but he and--so very far away-- across the pitch was Alexandria, and they we just...waiting. Just waiting. Of course, now that thought breeched his mind it only made sense that he had jinxed it. Which sucked, Crash always hated the bludgers and the beating, like what sick mad man had ever decided to include those two twin devils. Or, for that matter, why one tiny near invincible little winged thing would be worthy of so many damn points anyway!? It was ridiculous, if he ever stopped to think about...Good thing that doesn't happen often.

Xavier is almost half the pitch now, and when he tried to glance behind he saw Theo, speeding behind him. He even thought he saw a flick of anger in the young boy's face, and that made him frown. Seeing his extended arm Xavier avoided the steal and continued flying as fast as he can to the other side. Just a little bit more.

I half feel like I'm going to regret this hit...

Ronna noticed Xavier heading down the pitch towards the goal Crash was defending and decided that it might be a good opportunity to give Crash something else to focus on instead of coming chasers like a bludger coming his way-though considering how they had left on such bad terms before she sort of felt that it might be best if the bludger didn't hit him. Closing her eyes she focused on just playing the game and swung aiming a bludger at Crash. Hell, he could chew her out about it later if he wanted to.

Cait grinned and tucked the quaffle safely under her arm. Quickly, she took toward the red team's goals. She wanted to shoot and hopefully, she'd get the chance.

Hmm... I missed.

Ronna stared surprised when her bludger fell short of hitting Crash. Was it the fact she hadn't really wanted to hit him-and all mental or was her luck running out? She took a deep breath and returned her attention to the chasers and the game around her. It looked like Caitlin had stolen the ball from Xavier. Caitlin would probably be her next target once she located one of the bludgers to aim.

Just as he was close enough to the goals, Caitlin stole the quaffle. Xavier blinked again. Seriously, he ain't focusing on the opposing chaser suddenly appearing beside him and snatching the quaffle away. He chased the seventh year and tried to take the quaffle back before she shoots. But before he could attempt to steal, Tanya had already tried. Oooooh, so close! he thought as Tanya missed taking the quaffle only by a little bit. Xavier shot towards Caitlin again and tried to steal.

She spotted Tanya's attempt to retrieve the quaffle from Caitlin and then heard a bludger and turned and swung her bat on instinct aiming at her already decided target. She was going to target Caitlin. And it was a good opportunity to see if she had used up all her luck already.
