Evie felt a blush heat up her cheeks when Iago began to undo her dress. She usually did it herself so it made her feel a little self conscious. Before he had a chance to completely do up her dress, Evie twisted away from him and turned back to face him. She knew that her dress was still partially undone but that was okay. Evie took a step to put herself very close to Iago, her lips kissed his suddenly, her hands on his chest. He was always worrying about her....Iago was the sweetest.

Iago was surprised when she turned around and kissed him. He smiled nonetheless when she pulled away, and placed his hands over hers. "What was that for?" he asked softly. Not angry, he was just curious as to why she had kissed him.

Evie smiled and tightened her hand around Iago's.

"You're always worrying about me...I'm sorry. I guess I got carried away a little bit." Evie bit her lower lip and felt the blush creep into her cheeks again. She pulled away from him and did up the rest of her dress on her own. She wished that she wouldn't have done that.

Iago laughed softly. "Don't be sorry. I'm the one that should be sorry for worrying too much." he said truthfully, watching while she did her dress back up. A disconnected thought told him he'd never really undone her dress before...he'd have to remember that for tomorrow.
"You're a strong girl, and I know you can take care of yourself." he said, putting a hand on her cheek and giving her a quick kiss on the lips. He smiled.
"ready to go back out?" he asked.

Evie shook her head, a little regretful about what she had done but that was that...what was done was done. She had finished up buttoning her dress when she went for the door, her hand on the door handle.

"Let's go then." Evie gestured out the door.

Iago walked up behind her and headed out the door. Once she was out, he took her hand and smiled, leading her back outside, this time heading with a direction in mind: the market.

Evie smiled and let Iago take her hand as they wandered out into town again. She wondered where they were headed off to. He hadn't told her but it seemed like he had a destination in mind. She followed without question, silent for the whole walk. Where were they headed?

Soon, they entered the market square. A variety of stalls were set up, and along the edges of the square, there were various shops. Iago smiled. It was much more lively than the one back at his kingdom.
"Wow." he said softly.

Evie looked around with a smile. The marketplace. She had been there before to sell her own wares so the place was familiar to her.

"What do you mean?" Evie giggled, eyes scanning the various stalls and what they offered.

"It's busy." Iago said. "The one where we live isn't nearly as busy as this." he said. There were traders from all over. In one corner, a bard was telling a story to a group of people, young and old.
"This is...it's great." he said with a bright smile.

Evie smiled and led Iago over to a stand where they sold various bits of jewelery for everyone. The girl reached inside her dress' pocket and produced a little pouch. It held all the leftover money that she made at her forge after the majority went to her family. There were only a few copper pieces in it but she knew it'd be worth it. The weight of the necklace around her neck again made her know this for a fact.

"That little jewel wasn't nearly enough. Choose something." Evie told him, a smile on her lips. He was right though, everyone was very lively.

"Choose something?" Iago repeated. He smiled at Evie and kissed her gently on the temple, then looked at the display. One in particular caught his eye, that looked interesting. It was a warm orange fire opal on a thin silver chain. He held the stone in his palm, then looked at Evie.
"Are you sure?" he asked, wondering if she was sure she wanted to get him something.

Evie looked at the thing Iago had in his hands and shook the contents of her little bag to listen to the jingle of the coins. She knew it wasn't enough but that was okay...she was a blacksmith after all. She could simply forge the man something in return for the piece of jewelery.

"Of course I'm sure love." Evie smiled, her hands clasped behind her back.

Iago smiled, taking the pendant off the hook. It looked rather cool, and was more of a male pendant than a female one: it had a rougher look, just being a silver hoop around the stone, and a thin silver chain. He kissed Evie gently on the lips. "Thank you." he said softly.

Evie kissed Iago back and went to talk to the vendor who sold them the necklace. She ended up giving the man her entire little bag as well as a sword from her collection. That seemed to be enough and he let them go.

"Im glad you're happy." Evie smiled at Iago.
