Yeah, I was thinking that the trick-or-treater would RN to see if they get a treat or a trick. Then the person sending the gift would do one to see what they get.

ok! so trick-or-treater rolls to see if they get a trick or a treat.
next person supplies whatever, and rolls to see if they get a trick or treat.
don't forget to say trick or treat though!

What did Icy get? smile
EDIT: It might be easier to gift instead of doing a trade ...

I agree with Katrina. I tend to use gifting whenever possible. Trading is for more than one item or for gold.

Yeah, gifting would be easier... as long as it's an item that can be gifted.

*puts hands up blocking imaginary cameras and papparazzi* Please! Please! No pictures! No pictures! *scribbles on a napkin and tosses it in the air, running to her limo* For my fans! Enjoy!
(okay, switch this before I get too engrossed and play this out! xd ) Have we set the rules in place yet?

your choice, folks. gifting is easier for a single item, however Icy got her trick-or-treat bag filled with all colors and several sheets of crumpled paper! Little did I know there was moolah in all that!
Going to snooze now and be offline most of tomorrow. Hope it works out. Feel free to just use it for chatting, too. Good night all! much love and hugginess!

So lets see if I got this ...
First person says TRICK OR TREAT! and RN's 1-10. Evens they get a treat, Odds they get a trick/prank/nothing. The next person gifts the person above according to their RN. That 2nd person says TRICK OR TREAT and RN's 1-10 and the 3rd person gifts them accordingly, and so on it goes down the line.
Goodnight bandaidd, ... and thank you for moderating us/me here. heart

*composes himself, tucking the scribbled on napkin into his coat pocket and acting like he didn't just throw himself on the ground like a rabid fanboy to get it* ahem
I believe that is the idea, Faerie. It seems a little confusing, but people will likely get the hang of it once it gets started.
I guess people can use gifting for single items and then trades for multiple items or just use whatever method they feel most comfortable using. There doesn't really need to be a rule dictating how the gift is given, as long as there is one.
