Ah, Kent..Vampire Queen (Georgina) wants to go there and do astrophyisics.. Meh..School's a bum.. -__- What subjects are you studying? Say..I remember we used to speak a bit via PM, but my school's blocked that...any chance of chatting over msn?

I'm just doing English and American Literature and Creative Writing, so the whole mix. Had my first seminar today and it basically focusses on making a sentence properly. Some module this is going to be. stare
Sure I'll PM my MSN address off at some point.

Awww...I'm sure you'll have fun anyhow..You'll find a way ^^.. I can't see my PMs...it's frappy...just add me: the_keys_to_nowhere@ hotmail.co.uk without the space....

Misc:

I went to the pub last night with some local tory-types, and am now going to be running as a local councillor.

A tory councillor, in militantly Welsh nationalist Lampeter.

Is this political or actual suicide?

Quite a few public services are provided by your local council rather than central government (the contracts to move rubbish, upkeep roads, some stuff about schools and local facilities and so on.
They also set the council tax rates (which provide about 25% of the council's revenue).
In local elections we get to elect the councillors (if the council is thought of as a little local Parliament, the councillors are the MPs for that local Parliament).

Standing in a staunchly Labour or Plaid Cymru area as a Tory means that hi is being very ... um ... brave.
Or he was utterly plastered when he agreed to do it. One or the other smile

I'd vote for him.

I'd also vote for a monkey with a xylophone.

I now have an image of him in a monkey-suit playing a xylophone, with a big blue rosette pinned on him ...

Thank you Finrod. I have a very vague idea of what it was..I just wasn't too sure.. stressed I despise being stupid...It drives me up the wall.

And yes..that is quite an amusing image you've painted there...hmmmm...yes..I just don't quite think he's actually going to do that...unless someone spikes his drink with something strong..

I wasn't going to make a real post in here today.
But that was good. Really good.

I'm more worried that when it comes to graduation, we will find that Invi has become a hard-drinking socialist.

*Scans thread*
... xd
*Falls about laughing*

There I was, imagining a charming traditional Welsh nationalist Tory-burning, when the monkey suit image came along...

(Started to draw it, but Francis is difficult to chibi-fy, and it's probably best left to the imagination. Heh. Also, I'm hiding from the cold, shivering underneath my camping blanket and everything else made of fabric I can find which isn't fixed to the floor or walls...)

I reckon there's roughly the same chance as him going socialist as there is of me turning Tory... (unlikely even in a universe of opposites, adjusting for fair weather conditions...). mrgreen

But the real question is - what shall be played on the xylophone? ninja

The Funeral March would be quite fitting, I'd imagine.
