The rest of the Hearts Family may not be as touchy as the Queen, but it might still seem rude not to accept. With some hesitation, he decides to take it and stuffs it in an inner coat pocket, figuring he can just hand it off to the Duchess later.*

Once back to Castello Rosso, she and Alfonso spent some “quality time” in the Royal Couple’s chambers with some Prosecco and a lovely antipasto nibbles plate. They even spent some time in their hot tub in the attached grotto…very romantic. heart

After she’s refreshed and relaxed, she slips into some luxurious lace to get comfortable and decides she had best check on the progress for the set. There is lots to set up and she wants it to be perfect.

There are a few rooms where filming will take place. First to get set up would be the formal dining hall. This particular room is more along the lines of something you’d find to accommodate a very large formal banquet or venue such as a massive wedding reception. Spacious enough to fit a stage, full orchestra and seating for an entire convention if she so chose. She enters room with megaphone in hand and starts to walk the space checking on every detail. A couple of the crew see her and start to follow and take notes as she speaks. Now, the orchestra is to be HERE. The dining table over HERE. I want rosso linens and rosso orchids. And the massive rosso vases are to go on either side of the entrance and either side of the stage…rosso. And you spray those branches rosso and adorn them with little rosso lights. talk2hand

I want a partial canopy over the orchestra with little twinkling rosso lights…capiche? talk2hand A couple of the crew answer her in unison. Y-yes Mistress. sweatdrop She then goes through two swinging doors into the huge kitchen. Restaurant sized no doubt and stainless everywhere. Having built and owned the Jade Dragon, she’s going to be VERY particular. She walks the galley’s examining the stations, the industrial grills, the massive ovens, the walk in refrigeration and the massive freezer. She also goes to see the meat locker and is pleased to see aging sides of beef, specialty italian meats and sausages hanging to dry, and she finds she’s got 2 butchers at her disposal. Excellent. 3nodding She has also taken the liberty of flying in one of her favorite Chef’s from Italy to run the kitchen. She talked him into taking a little “sabbatical” just for her and he graciously agreed because when Pietrina Pavani calls and makes you an offer you can’t refuse…you don’t. twisted

The wine cellar looked more than stocked, plus she had to opportunity to speak with the Chef and see his meal plans for the next 2 weeks and he’s assured her he will be going into Geezervillle each morning at the crack of dawn to get to the market and secure the finest of ingredients. She thanks him and mentally checks the kitchen and cuisine off of her list because she’s hired the best. She’s positive even Antonio and Franco will recognize the superb authentic italian specialties coming out of the kitchen. Moving on. 4laugh

Franco clicks his tongue at the Mirtillo, and takes out a cigar for himself.
After lighting it he leans back, cigar between his teeth, stretching while cracking his knuckles outwardly.
With a follow up cracking of the neck, Franco lights his cigar then take a causal posture again.
So, Percettore dei cuori, hows about we's get choo outta dis dump, eh?

*sighs at the Prince's correction in how to address him. At least he didn't insist on the full title each time, because that would be worse stare

But despite having better understood him over all this time, he still crosses his arms and takes time to consider. Of course he wants out of there, but he also knows how the King and Prince operate. They don't just give out free favors... except sometimes to women, and he wasn't in that latter category. There had to be a catch somewhere emotion_eyebrow *

Franco knows yous been one-a zitellona's earners. Consider dis' an upgrade. A "welcome to da familia" if yous will. What's it gonna be?
Franco learns into the bars, one hand on the cigar shaft the other on the back of the chair, grinning like only Franco can grin.

*taps his foot as he considers it some more. He already had a plan of escape for himself, but it could end up messy for both him and the Duchess later down the line. Depending on how severe this supposed charge was, they might have to leave the Red Dominion altogether, and he knows that wouldn't sit well at all with his husband. sweatdrop The Queen of Hearts was also fickle and could just as easily forget he was even charged if no one reminded her of it... but the Red Knight probably would stare

Having the backing of the Prince, there's a good chance he'd also have the backing of the King, which is a pretty surefire way to get him off the hook, though the catch was still unclear at the moment. Whatever it was, it's at least something he knows that he and he alone would have to pay for most likely, thus sparing the Duchess any grief*

She exits the kitchen and sees the long dining table being moved in. The rosso side chairs are perfect as she sees them getting carried into the room and set at the table one by one down the 40 foot table. Most important are the head chairs. The Royal chairs are carried in as she demands to see and examine them. Ornately carved mahogany with coiling serpents, each one she sees in the carving details have ruby eyes, red leather upholstery, gold rivets…good good. Now to see the fine china. Victor, the head butler she’s had with her family since she was a child she has tasked with running the wait staff and maids. She follows him to just look at the rosso serving pieces, linens and a sample place setting of each meal and course. All various types of patterned china in bianca, rosso and goldleaf plus solid rosso for dessert and salad plates. All glassware and hand blown goblets accounted for and just lovely. Silver all polished and she takes note of the ruby accents on each piece. Flawless. Now what is the status of the serpent ice sculpture? emotion_eyebrow She’s assured it’s being delivered tonight and the red underlighting will be installed immediately. Wonderful. She walks back out to the main dining hall and now about 10 people are following right behind her. She suddenly stops to see a team of men hoisting up the 2 glorious Chihuly chandeliers she commissioned special for this space. eek BE CAREFUL WITH THOSE!!! THEY ARE BOTH ORIGINALS…HAND BLOWN AND CONSTRUCTED…ONE OF A KIND!!! scream Marches straight up to a man in a hardhat. If those works of Art are not installed properly, I will see to it that your company and the master electrician overseeing this installation is TERMINATED!! stressed And don’t forget the lighting for the Orchestra and the rosso sconces on the walls over the entire room! The lighting is critical!! talk2hand

Before she forgets, she whips out her iphone and texts Lia.

Turns to her personal assistant, Kyle who is following her. Kyle, do you think it’s possible to make snow rosso? confused

Onward to the Royal Courtroom and as she walks, Kyle hands her the list of music the orchestra will be performing for the “tart scene.” She reads the lists as she walks across the hall to the next location. Mozart, Mozart, Vivaldi, Beethoven, Mozart,…mmmmmhm…mmmhm. She hands the list back to Kyle. Can we get some Italian opera in there along with the choir? Kyle makes a note. Yes, Mistress. 3nodding

Flings open the large double doors and views the Royal Courtroom. She notes the detailing of the walls…mahogany…nice. And the two large tables for the defense and prosecution. Dark…nicely polished, very nice woodgrain. Also seating for the audience or witnesses to testify. Nicely done, just like a real courtroom. She steps up 4 steps where the Royals are to be seated to hear the testimony. Both chairs more elaborate than the one’s in the dining hall. Serpents, red velvet and gold rivets. She notes again all serpents have ruby eyes and she turns to Kyle. Have I told you today how good you are, Kyle? Kyle smirks and looks at the Mistress with those dark bedroom eyes. No Mistress. Not today. wink She takes note of the HUGE painting of herself and her husband hanging on the wall behind the chairs. It depicts the royal couple in costume as the Queen and King of Hearts. She is holding her riding crop and he is standing just in front of her and to the side holding two pistols with slightly outstretched arms…like he’s protecting her. The lighting in the painting is very dramatic … very Renaissance. She points to the painting and turns to Kyle. YOU outdid yourself, Kyle. wink Kyle smirks again But, Mistress. You are a work of Art so it really doesn’t take much effort. wink She pauses on that. Kyle deserves a raise. 3nodding

She steps up the four stairs to have a seat in her Royal Courtroom chair just to try it out. Kyle walks up too as he’s scrolling through his ipad. Um…Mistress. Here is Miss Katana’s carriage for the next scene as you’ve requested. It’s sitting outside ready for her to drive up for the next scene. It has a red dragon on it just like the tattoo on her body…like you asked for. VERY Texas if you ask me. 3nodding



She views the image and is pleased. Really? 4laugh You think so? I really didn’t know what to do about her ride as I’m not all that informed on what is actually down there IN Texas. I was debating upon having her just ride a long horned steer or a bull, but too messy. whee She hands the ipad back to Kyle. I think you’ve made a superior choice, Mistress. 3nodding  

[Alfonso Giovanni]

He finally finds his lovely Dolce Cosa in the Royal Courtroom. Dere you is, Dolce Cosa. Ol’ Gio’s gonna needs ta GPS yous culo ta finds yous ‘ere. He gives a quick uppercut nod to Kyle before taking his wife’s hand as she rises from her throne and holds her lovely hand helping her ascend the few stairs as she holds the fabric of her flowing lingerie so she doesn’t catch the lace with her heels and trip.

Smirking the whole time he leads her she furrows her brow as Giovanni escorts her, Kyle following behind also smirking. What are you doing? Where…where are we going? confused He looks at his wife and holds a finger to his lips. Shhhhhhhh. Yous don gots ta knows everyting. wink

The three enter the formal ballroom…she knows because she had quite the party here with the cast a while back. Giovanni flips a switch and a huge mirrored ball spins as the lights shining onto it displays a cosmos of little lights spinning the floor. The stage has a few key musicians from the orchestra and she sees Kyle get onto the stage. What are you doing, Alfonso? confused He leads her to the middle of the dance floor. Shhhhhhhhhh. wink She gets again as he wraps one of his large arms around her waist and Kyle takes to the microphone.



The music starts and Kyle begins to croon like a modern day Sinatra as Giovanni starts to dance with her pressing himself against her and gazing at her blue eyes. Not a word is spoken as the two spin, step and sway around the dancefloor…old school. heart
