Is that from the thread in M&R? Something like "Is Wicca a sexual religion?"

'The process [of making mead] screams spell. The cleaning, the stirring, the whole idea of the fermentation happening over time in a dark environment...wow.'

I disagree with this one.

Seeing mysticism and magic within daily activities is only bad when you are no longer able to function well enough to perform them.

'In the past the Roma were some of the last Goddess-worshipers
in Europe. Their Goddess, Kali, was viewed as a trinity. Her symbol was a triangle. The male Horned God also played a Big role. The similarities between
ancient Roma belief and that of Wicca are obvious.'

From a 'G~ dvination class' I didn't even read the rest.

'In the past the Roma were some of the last Goddess-worshipers in Europe.
Historically speaking, this might be partially accurate (if we look at the conversion dates for the bulk of Europe)- even if I would ask such people why they ignored the many gods of Rroma culture.

Poppy c**k.

~coughs~ Neo-Pagan revisionism.

Someone better find Del and the other gods and glue horns on them.

This much I am less inclined to scoff at- if only because there are aspects of Wicca that look like they were lifted from Leland's earlier resources.

It is obvious that Wicca is influenced by Leland (assuming this is the guy who published Aradia: Gospel of the Witches). I was meaning to ask this earlier but kept forgetting:

Who are the Rroma?

Who are the Rroma?
It's an ethnicity that came out of Northern India somewhere around a thousand years ago.
