Caitlin ran out onto the pitch, tugging one of her quidditch boots on properly. She quickly filled out one of the forms and set it with the others. She knew fully well that being late would decrease her chances of being on the team. Cait pulled her hair up and out of the way, blushing as she remembered why she had been late. Rick had found her and let's just say, she lost track of time. Quickly, though, she mounted her broom and kicked off the ground, watching everyone for a second before following what they were doing. She figured it'd be best if she play with the gold team unless she was told otherwise. Cait noticed one of her favorite younger students, Leo, with the quaffle and a bludger coming straight for her. She shot towards her, she could be there for back up, if the younger girl lost the ball.

Woah, I did block it.

Ronna took a deep breath as she had successfully blocked the bludger and sent it flying towards Leo. It felt good to actually successfully protect a member on her team-better than just hitting bludgers at people which was actually pretty good stress relief. And, Leo was a trooper, she could take another hit after one if the bludger did end up making contact. "No problem! It makes up for the last time when I missed helping you out," She said with a small smile to Keith as he called out her thanks. She glanced back at the bludger heading towards Leo and noticed as Jacob moved to try to intercept it and missed. As she scanned the field she also noticed that Caitlin had shown up and joined the gold team it seemed. Showing up late wasn't going to help Caitlin's chances on the team, but then again maybe Caitlin would make up for it, she was a good chaser generally. Unless she end up having an off day that seemed to be striking almost every beater hopeful.

Toby sighed. Ronna had blocked his shot and Keith had sent a bludger his way, though he'd managed to dodge it in time. At this rate he wasn't going to make the team, period. He was failing miserably, and Ronna was on a roll. He'd only managed to hit one person; a bloody second year, and he felt sort of bad about giving a twelve year old girl a bruise anyhow. Also, he felt as if he got hit with one more bludger, he'd be down for the count. But he couldn't just sit on his broom and do nothing, either. He aimed at Ronna, grimly, hoping for a miracle..

I just can't decide what I'm running from.

Luckily Leonette managed to send the quaffle flying just in time before getting hit by a bludger again. She knew Ronna hit hard but it sure did hurt when they connected. Wincing in pain as the bludger hit she stopped herself from even trying to scream. Yes it hurt but she was not a wimp. Looking back Leonette saw her shoot went through. With a smile she looked over to see Caitlin. "Hey Cait I was hoping you'd show up." she told the seventh year. Caitlin was one of top on her favourite people list, Remy being number followed by her.

Wow, I really feel sorry for Toby, but he did get one hit in at least but he looks in bad shape...

Ronna winced as Jacob missed blocking her bludger and it made contact with Leo. She turned in time to see the bludger aimed by Toby coming towards her but she barely had to shift over to avoid the bludger. She felt bad for him, he looked rough. Honestly she was surprised he was still dedicated to hanging on all things considered-she thought it was great but she didn't know how useful it was or not. But, Gryffindors did tend to have a hardheaded streak so maybe it wasn't all that surprising all things considered. She would have held in if she could in his same position.

Cameron smirked contently when both Ronna and Tevya had missed blocking Keith from his bludger hit. When the girl sent Tobias' bludger towards Leonette, it was too late for Cam to do anything, so he watched and grimaced in pain as the bludger made contact with the chaser. Since Ronna was really on a roll during these tryouts, the seventh decided he should try and take her out again.

Holy... bludgers everywhere.

She had just dodged the bludger from Toby when another bludger came her way this time, she knew she didn't have the time to dodge and the best she could do was brace for impact and bit her lip to avoid the many vivid swears she wanted to say as the bludger slammed into her left shoulder. She let out a deep breath and glanced over to Cameron and took a deep breath and tried to move her shoulder and winced realizing it would be smarter to just keep that arm steadying her on the broom and use her dominant hand to swing the bat.

Tanya had sighed when she couldn't get the quaffle away from Leo but then brightened when her friend missed the shot. Then berated herself heavily for even thinking such a thought. If they were all going to be on the team she needed to think of her as a comrade, even if right now she seemed more like an annoying clinging burr that wouldn't leave! Seeing Alexandria toss the quaffle towards her she geared up to snatch it only to be intercepted by Rosabella. Smirking she swirved towards the other girl hoping to swipe back the ball.
