Wow, it's been a while since I checked in here. I'm in CO, and it finally looks like winter here. I hope everyone in the flooded areas of WA and OR is doing ok.

You didn't muck up the thread, Brat! The weather extremes right now are just nuts! Today it got up to 80 degrees here and we're still have around a 7 inch rainfall deficet... someplaces are having winter storms, and Washington state and Oregon are being washed out to sea. It's just crazy.

Yep, over here it was 80 degrees yesterday, today it's in the low 40's, tomorrow it will probably be in the 80's again - if it's not raining! I'd hate to be a weather forecaster right now. We do the weather with our pre-k class and it's certainly interesting trying to persuade them it's winter!

Happy New Year everyone. Hope you had a better start than mine - I was in A&E with a 4 year old who had a severe ear infection... and not the night to be in the emergency room!
Funny how things go round in a cycle, the last time I was in that A&E was New Years Eve 6 years ago. That time I was suffering from a miscarriage, so at least this time I left with my child still alive.
Hmm... that's a bit too depressing huh? Sorry guys, guess it just made me a bit introspective...
Have a drink on me and toast a great 2008 instead *raises a glass* slainte! heart
