Ooh, a Willy Wonka themed Thanksgiving. Sounds fun.
*ouch* Careful, Lil Brat, I just got a flu shot in that arm.
Can you believe Thanksgiving is only 2 weeks away? Where does the time go? It reminds me of a Groucho Marx quote: "Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana."

I pretty much don't deal with holidays anymore...these days, they're nothing but a way for companies to profit off of pointless crap.

Well, that's a fine attitude when you're younger and no one expects you to be able to afford anything, anyway.
Now that I'm older, however, I have a tough time not sawing people in half for getting in my way at the supermarket. Holiday cheer and goodwill toward men seem harder and harder to scrape together in my withered old heart with or without a little plastic help from the santa on the corner. The crass commercialization of the holidays is more appreciated than it used to be (even if they are trying to sell me Kill-The-Bad-Guy-Heathens Military Fashion knock offs. I guess I'm too old to be really angry any more. I'm kinda glad someone's carrying on the torch.)

I do agree with you when it comes to the profit of the companies, however when you have kids those holidays are hard to ignore, especially because they are so commercialized.

Wish I could attend those road trips, but unless they are planning a Kiki roadtrip in the UK I'm out. ¬_¬;; Just imagine telling your kids x-mas is canceled because it's all a big scam of the companies and it has nothing to do with the real meaning of x-mas..roflmao....they would have a mutiny here at least...if not worse stressed xd
