Someone in my apartment complex is AWESOME. I posted in the bad mood topic about the necklace that deo bought me breaking and the charm disappearing.
I found the grape charm today pinned to the board above our mailboxes.

I will be out of contact until Sunday. I am escaping to the woods and the hoardes of drunken fighters and running an event.
Great way to spend my birthday, if you ask me.

I'm moving!
My girlfriend and I found an adorable apartment in one of our favorite parts of the city. We had looked at a larger apartment in the same building but another couple got there first; but the landlord liked us and offered us a smaller one that the previous tenants had just vacated. We both walked in expecting something a lot smaller than what we found, made silly faces at each other, and took the lease home that night.
We're on the second floor and we can put plants and a compost bin on the fire escape landing, and flower boxes on the windows, and plant in the actual ground around the back of the house. And we can finally get a dog.
We get the keys in a few weeks. I am SO excited.
