He smiled softly and held his lover close, letting out a soft purr as he ran his hands along Kane's back. A gentle breeze drifted through the room as the two embraced. Lan looked at Kane and smiled. "I-I'm doing alot better thanks to you..." he said, gently nuzzling Kane's shoulder.

With his arms wrapped around Lan, Kane swayed gently, rocking him sweetly. "I'm so glad. I felt horrible when Fate took your wings, but...I'm so glad you're doing better. I'm glad to be helpful." Having Lan made Kane feel better about himself; it validated him. Lan's love was the only thing that Kane had ever learned to trust, other than the greed and selfishness of people.

Lan purred and brought his hands across Kane's back, gently rubbing and caressing his lover. "I-I'm so glad I'm here too...I-I just....I wanna get back in the world..Do something" he said as he held his lover close.

A soft smiling taking his face, Kane said, "You wanna go somewhere? We'd have to be careful, you're still weak I can tell." Lan's condition was the first thing on Kane's mind. The second was Lan's happiness. "Well, we could probably find a show or something to see. They have live theators and ones for movies too. I'm sure there'd be something you would like." Kane had not seen a show for ages, and it sounded like a good idea. However, with Lan in his condition Kane would keep two eyes on him at all times.

Taking Lan's hand and holding it on his cheek, Kane said, "Alright, then. We'll go see a movie. I'm sure they'll have something for us." Smiling softly, Kane began to lead Lan out into the city for the first time since he had lost his wings. Although he was nervous, Kane knew that leaving the house would be a big part of Lan's recovery. He had to get out and stretch eventually, and the sooner he was actually able to the better for him.

Lan purred softly and walked with his lover through the streets. "W-where is the theater?" he asked, his tail flicking left and right. He felt safe in Kane's arms, like nothing could happen to him ever again.

"Well, there are a few that sometimes show different movies. We'll check the closest first," Kane said, wanting to have Lan walk as little as he had to. When they came up to the building, he looked at the shows posted. There were three comedies, a drama, two actions, and a romance. Turning to Lan he asked, "Which one do you want to see most?" Kane wanted to see a romantic movie with Lan, but if the neko wanted something funny or otherwise, he would gladly yield for him.

Lan looked at the signs and blushed. He turned and looked at his lover, smiling softly and purring. "Th-the romantic one sounds n-nice" he said softly as his tail curled around Kane's waist.

Lan's voice was so soft. No doubt he was still weak. HUggin Lan, Kane said, "Of course. I hoped you want to see that one." Paying for their tickets despite the vendor's odd looks, they went inside and looked around. It wasn't terribly large; it was a realatively old theater, but the lobby was nicely furnished and roomy enough to not be suffocating. "Do you want anything to snack on?" Kane knew that people who were healing from illness or injury needed to eat a lot to keep up their strength, blood pressure, and energy. He would make sure that Lan wanted for nothing.

Lan started to shake his head in protest but his stomach growled and gave him away. He giggled and blushed. "M-maybe a popcorn...a-and we c-could share a s-soda...

Holding Lan close again and nuzzling his hair a bit, Kane felt a great joy in his heart. Lan was so cute; and he seemed as sweet as a kitten. "Sure thing." Getting a large popcorn and a diet ginger ale (which is good for settling a stomach,) they went into their theater and sat down. As the previews flashed by and other people began filing in, Kane gave his complete attention to Lan. "I'm glad we're finally getting out to enjoy a day of fun. It's so good that you're well enough."

Lan blushed and smiled softly, looking at Kane and giving a tiny grin. "I-I'm glad too..." he said softly as his hand found Kane's. The neko purred and leaned forward, closing his eyes and pressing his lips to his lover's.

Gladly returning Lan's show of affection, Kane kissed him back and stroked his hair gently. "I'm gonig to do anyhtign I can to make you happy. You've done so much for me already; I need to find a way to pay you back." As the movie started, Kane was holding Lan's hand and paying as much attention to the actors on the screen as to his lover next to him.

Purring softly, Lan gently rested his head on Kane's shoulder. His hand gently brushed over Kane's as they watched the movie. A few times he blushed and giggled during the movie. "Y-you can pay me back...j-just by staying with me.."
