Alex nodded. He was a little afraid of what her parents and brothers might think. "I guess so. Hopefully your family will be just as forgiving as you."

Eva shrugged. "If they aren't my mother will straighten them out. I know she'll understand. She really likes you." She rubbed her head against his. "But I like you more so even if they don't forgive you my heart will still be yours."

He smiled and kissed her lightly for a second. "Forever and always?" He asked her softly.

"Always and forever." She smiled and then thought for a second. "Then again, you could ask me a certain question just to be sure." She looked at her left hand and then looked at her empty finger.

"Where'd you leave it." He asked her with a big grin on his face.

"On the table next to the couch in the living room. On top of the divorce papers." She told him and kissed his head. "Don't be long."

"I won't be." He smiled and kissed her cheek. He crawled out of bed and looked for the ring. He spotted it quickly and rushed back upstairs. He walked into the room and got down on one knee. "Eva, baby, will you marry me?"

Eva blushed and smiled. "Yes. Again. I will marry you." She giggled and the little girl ran back into her head. The little girl laughed and started to danced in circles.

Alex smiled and slipped the ring on to her finger and hopped back into bed next to her. He kissed her lightly and fell asleep, after resisting for so long.

She rested her head on his shoulder and wrapped her arms around him. Soon she fell asleep in his warmth. The next morning the sun woke her up as usual and she looked up at Alex who was still sleeping. I really missed waking up to that face. She thought.

Alex was sleeping peacefully, with a small smile on his lips. His arms hung loosely around her. He snored softly every now and then.

Eva silently laughed and moved some hair out of his face as he slept. She rested her head on his chest and listened to his heart beating. Every beat relaxed her more. She looked at the ring on her finger and smiled at the familiar band.

Unconsciously Alex started to rub her back. His grip tightened around her a bit too. "Mmm... I love you Eva..."

Eva smiled. "I love you too Alex." She whispered. As he rubbed her back, she couldn't help but get goosebumps. Even as his grip tightened around her, she snuggled closer.

"Look at out beautiful baby girl..." He mumbled. It was obvious that he was dreaming. And by the looks of it, it seemed as though Eva had just given birth to their first child.
