"Adios. . . Kuwagamon. . . " whispered Guile as she reverted into her child form. She was rather large so her body shifted back to its original state mid-air. She began to drift down, about to hit the ground before her tamer slid underneath her, falling into his arms.
A tear came to the young tamer's eye as he held his partner close to him, stroking the back of her head. "Guile. . .never scare me like that again. . .please. . . never again." He didn't let her go, he may have had a tough exterior but he cared for his "Big Sis" more than any other person in both the Digital and real worlds.
Guile chuckled a bit before lapping at Jericho's cheek. "Heh. . . heh. . . we crushed a giant bug, did I do good?" asked the Dinosaur Digimon with a weak smile.
"Guile. . . you did great." said the Tamer as his Guilmon fell asleep in his arms. She was far too heavy for him to carry so instead he sat down with her, pulling out a roll of bandages and a tiny tube of salve from his card satchel. It wasn't much, but with some minor medical treatment his partner would be able to survive until her hit-points recovered. Rest up girl, sometimes I wish I could have your fiery determination. . .

Skylar was suprised to see the incoming attack and had no time to avoid it. With a loud boom he was struck with the full impact and began falling.
Chris only smirked "This isn't over yet Skylar may have really low health but not for long" He said. He quickly pulled out his digivice "Digimodify Goburimon activate!" He said. He watched as Skylar recovered and awaited Kabuterimon to take Skylars damage. "Thats not all" He said. He reached into his pocket and pulled out another card "Digimodify Data Aura activate" He said.
Skylar than began to glow with a bright aura. "Prepare to be roasted" He said. He spun quickly inorder to aim at Kabuterimon "Phoenix Stars!" He said as he launched his attack. This was alot like the one he used on greymon only now it would have a stronger effect. "Good bye" He said coldly.

Fenrir, the Feral Lightning Fenrir felted the power of the card's effect as it felt as if he had been the one hit by his attack. He wobbled abit as he rose and was pelted by the fire. Smoke formed and then cleared to show kabuterimon still standing, wounded but not out. He chuckled as his wings flapped, giving off the same effect as his brother's. Crouching down to build momentum like a spring, electricity began to spark and build all over his body. "ELECTRIC STORM!!!!!" Kabuteri, then shot off like a bullet, ramming into Skylar. ------------------ Marq's fist clenched as he reached for a card and tossed it to Chris, "WRONG CARD!!!! USE THIS!" Marq threw Chris a Vaccine Aura that would help Skylar a bit better than Data Aura.

Chris caught the card "Thanks Marq" He said. He then closed his eyes his body now glowing like Marqs did only his was an electric blue. "Digimodify! Vaccine Aura activate" He said. He then opened his eyes "Crush him" He said emotionlessly. He then drew another card "Symphony crusher" He said. He then scanned it "Now pause" He said trying to immobilize him.
Skylar was struck but shook it off. He then glowed as his power grew again. He then let out a roar "You opponents are becoming bothersome why not accept defeat" He said. He closed his eyes "Meteor Wing!" He said as he launched a supercharged fireball heading right for him.

Fenrir, the Feral Lightning After ramming into Skylar, Kabuterimon was knocked back by the counterattack. He was overcome by the large bird's assault and was sent crashing toward the ground, deteriorating into data and then to a digitama. As the data dissipated Kabuterimon looked down for his brother but did not see the other, "I'm sorry... brother." The data from his body had completely disappeared by the time it reached the ground leaving only a digi-egg that was then joined by the other. The two eggs danced in a circle and then flew off together. -------------------- Two more gone... I guess this is the way that it's supposed to be. Hiro sighed for a moment and then looked at the two boys, giving them a light clap. "Congratulations on your victory. This will put you one step closer..."Marq looked away for a moment, wishing that he could have been a part of the action. He held on to Destin, who was now calming down since the threat had disappeared. Marq then turned back and smiled as if nothing was wrong. Good job, he thought...

Jericho helped his partner up from the ground with a hefty huff, she was rather heavy. Once he was up he dusted off his clothing and put on what could only be described as a victorious pose. With a chuckle he offered a thumb's up towards his partner. "The Ultimate. . ."
Guile returned the thumbs up with a chuckle before continuing her partner's statement. "Brother and Sister team"
The duo couldn't help but laugh for a brief moment before they punched their hands against one another, "knuckle bouncing."
"Dino Guts, did you expect any less? said the tamer as he turned his attention towards Hiro and Marq, a big grin at his face.
"Its all in the DNA, we fossilized'em!" retorted Guile with a girlish grin as she covered her tomboyish laugh in the crotch of her arm.

"Actually, I did..." Hiro put his hand to his head and sighed. "I'm quite surprised, he... he didn't kill you." Hiro looked up at the sky as if he could still see the image of Fenrir and Griever. That's twice now that they've denied using it... I wonder if that's why they have... Hiro patted his cheeks as if to snap out of his daze. "Either way, a victory is a victory. Now we have to find the shack so that we may advance."
Marq looked up at Hiro as the lion started to walk ahead. He quickly ran to catch up with him, looking from the ground to him. "You're hiding something... I know you are..." He cradled Destin in his arms and looked up, "Why is this turning out to be like an eradication mission?"
"There is nothing to say, you are doing the trial and in real combat it's either kill or be killed, that is the way of the Eight Kings..." Hiro sliced through trees with his knife as he looked for any sign of the shack.

Chris and Skylar followed after Hiro and the others but after Hiro's comment Chris rushed ahead and stopped Hiro. "No! you said this was training mission and yet all we've done is destroyed what seems to be your friends and now your acting like it's nothing" He said. He glared at him "What is wrong with you it's like your no better than the digimon trying to destroy us" He said.
"Speak Hiro" A small voice said.
Chris looked down to see it was Dante who had finally woken up. "Dante?" He said.
"Tell the twouth" He said coldly although his small form made it sound less serious.

Jericho shrugged indifferently as he walked in between Chris and Marq. "Don't you think you two are overreacting? This is the Digital World, measures like this are necessary. Digimon don't die, but we do. Our partners fight for us because they care about us. Every Digimon fights for a purpose and in time they accept their fate: then they return and start the process a new."
Guile stared at her partner for a moment before she snuck up behind Jericho, placing her snout on his palm. Her eyes were wide, but it looked like she agreed with what he was saying. . . . There are just things you can't tell people. . . but, what are you, Leomon? thought the Dinosaur Digimon as she shut her eyes.
The young tamer smiled a bit as he pat his Digimon's head in pride. Guile. . . at first our purpose was to clear your name and become famous Circuit Battlers. . . but now I wonder, why do you still fight by me? Thought the young man to himself as he continued to pet his partner, unsure of her motives.

Anger flared inside of Hiro but was then cast aside as he pushed passed Chris and Jericho as the shack came in sight. He looked forward not answering the boy's question. He holds a palm up to the statue of a two-headed insect that opened the shack's doors. He sat for a moment, taking a rest, Seadra, Devidra, Kabuteri and Kuwaga, even Grey... maybe I'm next...
Marq said nothing as he followed behind, walking into the shack. He looked around seeing vines had entered and entwined themselves around the various furniture, signs that this place had been abandoned for a period of time.
Destin, who had been rather quiet at the time jumped from Marq's armors and hooped off into the far crevices of the room. Wha ish dat smell??? Destin took a few whiffs and hopped off.
Marq was too occupied with what all was said outside to even notice that Destin had run off. Leomon aka Hiro

Jericho walked inside the shack with curiosity in his eyes, the architecture was beautiful and the statue in front could only be described as masterfully crafted. With a wondrous expression he pressed his hands up against the shack's walls getting a feel for this new surrounding. "So cool . . . but all of these symbols and statues. . . I have a strange feeling that these shacks aren't just attributed towards their respective Digimon. Master Hiro, do these shrines bear any meaning to them?"
Guile was dozing away in the corner completely oblivious to the surroundings, she honestly couldn't care less. Symbols this, Statues that. . . honestly. . . ugh maybe we'll get something to eat soon, I'm starved. . . I can't give out Dino Guts unless I get something to fill my Dino Gut thought the Digimon to herself as she pouted.
"The order of Digimon, their respective types. It seems to systematized, this is a pattern isn't it?"Asked the young man as he saw Destin hopping about, thinking his tamer should pay more attention to him.

"I dabble: Insect, Dragon, Dark, Holy, Fish, Machine, Beast, Bird. It pertains to the eight Digimon attributes right?" asked Jericho with wide eyes, in a childish manner.
"Hrm. . . never heard of it, I'll wait for the movie." said Guile as she dusted her tail.
