Imoto-chan_Always Ken smiled, still recovering slightly from his coughing episode. "That's a really cool name. My name's not so unique. I'm just Ai." Ken loved his nickname more than his real name because he had picked it himself. He felt as though he should have the right to name himself because his parents really barely knew him at all. Ke nsaw that Tomo was alittle nervous and thought it was cute; but he also didn't want to make him so uncomfortable that he'd want to leave. So he replaced his old smell for something more like apples and peaches. A fruitsalad of sorts. "Ai....."Tomo repeated as if to get used to it."...What an unusual name,"He smiled,"I like it."his tenticles twitched again as if to pick up something strange once more.Now Mochi thought that the encounter in the alleyway was caused by this stranger.But when Ai convinced him it wasn't him at all.the alien started to wonder if maybe he was loosing it.But now,his nostrils picked up a scent entirely different that smelled so good and made his stomache growl at the same time.At one point he even thought he could smell,peaches and a hint of oranges(since he loves oranges so much)The crystal eyed winged creature had to wonder why everytime he was around Ai,he smelled something different each time.The green axe wielder itched his chin pondering, "Why am I the only one who smells that!?" he thought both intrigued and irritated that strange smells were some how attracted to him.He decided to get his mind off the fruity smell,maybe he was just hallucinating--smelling things??The now curious creature still had no idea of where the smell came from,but his tenticles twitched like none other,like they were directing him right to the producer of the smells but Tomo was too caught up in trying to ignore the scent rather than finding out where it really came from."On my planet short names are unique and very uncommon--everyone on my planet has at least two or three names miles long."he commented,he said this to try and strike up a conversation of interest.

Ken laughed when he noticed Tomo noticing his new scent. "Do you smell something? Maybe it's my perfume," he lied, hoping to get more attention. When Tomo told him about the names on his planet, he gasped and smiled. "You're from an entirely different planet? How neat! And I'm glad you like my name. It's sort of common, but I do like it." Ke nwondered waht it was like on Tomo's home planet. It must be hard adjusting to life on Earth. It did make things more interesting for him, though...and for him, that's what this game was all about.

It's easy to remember and spell."He laughed lightly again free to be more open now that the mysterious scent problem was solved and he knew it was only Ai's perfume.

Ken got a little shock at Tomo's squeek, but settled down when he realized Tomo was just suprised. When Tomo called it edible, Ken giggled and blushed. It was such a sweet compliment. He also laughed at his axe joke, used to fighting taunts that often came as similar jokes. "Why tahnk you. But you're name is very nice too. It's very different." Ken liked thigns that were different, he loved excitement; and Tomo was very different from anything else he'd seen in the enitre city. Now Tomo was the one thing in the city that Ken cared about because he was interesting.

There was a moment's silence before Tomo spoke again,"So,um enough about me.I don't want to hog all the limelight."he smiled humbly,"What about you?What do you do for fun..besides talk to strange aliens."he smirked folding his arms across his bulky chest.

"Oh, you know," Ken giggled, "getting into trouble. That's what I do." He played with a lock of his hair as they talked. "You're not strange. You're cool." Ken didn't really find many things strange. Things were either boring or interesting to him; otherwise he didn't really judge.

"What do you do?" Ken asked, wondering what he ment. He seemed rather harmless, even though the axes on his back seemed a little threateing. Wondering more about the weapons, Ken asked, "Why do you have those big axes? Are you a fighter?" Having been a street fighter for quite some time, Ken was not used to weapons more deadly than baseball bats and empty garbage cans. A knife or two he'd seen, but never something as large or heavy as what Tomo was carrying.

Mochi frowned for a moment the question triggered many bad memories.Memories Tomo wished would stay where they belong...in the past.The creature straightened up totally disregarding the question,"Oh no,no,no..I'm not a fighter."He chuckled,"Could you imagine me fighting?"He joked."I carry these axes for protection purposes,it's part of my tradition,and of course,for peeling oranges."He grinned wide,"Although I usually end up dicing them up like mince meat first."

((Sure thing, P-Cat. As far as the story line your in, Kane and Lan haven't really been doing much sense you left. Lan got scared when he woke up and Kane wasn't there so Kane had to leave Max in his room in a hurry. Now everyhting is fine and Kane is pretty much cleaning around the house.))
Ken gave Tomo a strange smile. "Oranges? I think those things look a little unweildy to be used for peeling oranges. Why don't you just use your hands? Of course, I'm one to talk; I never did eat as much fruit as I should. It doesn't seem to affect me though. I rarely get sick," he said with a smile. It was a good thing he didn't often get sick or else he might not be able to make enough money in the fights to pay for food. "Do you really need those big things to protect you, though? I know the city can be kind of dangerous, but you have wings; couldn't you just fly away?" Ken had always thought that wings would be wonderful things to have. You could get far away and not have to worry about always being stuck in one place. It would be a way to escape everything he thought.

((damn...I've been gone for a f****** Looooong time....i think i'll make the thread live again))
Lan awoke from his sleep and sat up. He reached back and gently rubbed the scars on his back. He could feel no pain so he stood up and began to walk around the large house. The young neko let out a few mews as he searched for his lover. "K-kane? A-are you there?"

((Yeays! We're back in business! blaugh ))
Hearing Lan calling for him, Kane descended from the curain tops and flew over to him. "Here I am," he said sweetly, hugging his love. "Are you alright?" Although he was glad to see that Lan was walking on his own again, he of course held his reservations and worries about how well he was healing and whether he was pushign himself. he would be there to help Lan with whatever he needed, especially since it had been the neko who had saved Kane first.
