"Ugh, you just can't control your emotions can you boy!?" Said the tamer irritably as he reached for his leather satchel and drew five of his iconic cards. A Pendulum Progress and a hand of modification cards, the tool of the trade~ It felt good to hold them again. A sense of nostalgia filled the young man as he pointed his virtual pet toy towards Guile.
"Well Chris there seemed to do a good job of pissing them off. No use crying over spilled milk, Jericho pick a good one I'm feeling frisky." said Guile with a chuckle as his claws combusted, preparing themselves for the combat to come. As of now the flame on his hands was a soft one. . . a light, serene orange. It was nothing like the once used at the Princemamemon tournament, it was sad by comparison.
Guile. . . that soft flame, its like the day I met you all over again. J. . . Just what can I do to make it hard again. . .? We might not even be able to help out with power that pathetic. Thought Jericho to himself as he kept a straight face, trying not to discourage his partner. "PENDULUM COUNT!" shouted the tamer triumphantly as he began to shake the toy before a number appeared on its screen. [19]
"Here we go!" shouted Guile as the pyres that were his claws increased in force, their fiery presence heating up the air around the duo.

Griever, the Blurred Edge Fenrir, the Feral Lightning "Fool...." "Can I eat him when this is over?" "my answer remains the same."
"Aww... well I just pluck his feathers out..." An image like that of a bug shot out at the birdramon and pelted him with ball of electricity. In moments a ring electrical spheres at surrounded Skylar and then all fired at him at once. "ELECTRO SHOCKER!!!"Below, new trees started to sprout up in place of the ones that had fallen. A Kuwagamon stepped out to face Jericho and Marq. He quickly caught sight of Leomon and chuckled, "I had a feeling that you would do that rather than give in to your instincts..."

Jericho held his charged PenProg out towards the Kuwagamon with a stern expression. "Well if it isn't the first mark on our list~ Jeez, its like the start of every bad Digimon Cartoon. Personally I feel like canceling you!" With determination in his eyes he lifted his PenProg into the air, pressing its center button allowing the charged energy housed inside to flood into the Dinosaur Digimon.
Guile shut his eyes as the charged data entered his body. In a brief moment, those violent, amber pupils opened up once more his claws radiating their soft heat. He chuckled before charging towards the Kuwagamon, fangs bared "Fire Rock Breaker!" shouted the Guilmon as his fiery claws attempted to slice and slash at his opponent.
Jericho was at a loss for confidence when he realized he didn't have access to the powers of the Decimo. But. . . he had to be strong, Marq and Chris were able to pass these trials with their own power, if they could do it, so could he. . . he hoped.

Griever, the Blurred Edge "Hmph... aren't we cheeky..." The Kuwagamon gave the guilmon a quick kick to gut, knocking the little rookie into the air. He then swung around with one of his arms and grabbed Guile, mid-air, and flung him into a tree. "You have to do better than that..."-------------------------------------- Destin fought against Marq's grip trying to get a piece of the action. "LEMMA AT HIM, LEMME AT HIM!!!""NO... he'll kill you!!" Marq's grip tightened as held his partner close. He looked up to Hiro for some assistance. "Hiiroo???" He looked down at Marq and back at the fight. "This is not your place... It would be unfair for three to go against two." He folded his arms and continued to spectate. "This will be Jericho's Debut, as well as Chris's redemption... share the spotlight every once in a while... it'll do you some good stress wise, now watch."------------------------ "Ever the valiant and chivalrous, I see. Good, at least you didn't lose all your traits when you circummed to being a pet..."

"GWAH!" shouted Guile as his frame hit Kuwagamon's desired target with great force. He stood up slowly rubbing his posterior as he noticed his back was slightly scraped. Pain? It was so. . . unfamiliar to him now. . . Within a few moments, Guile re-entered his fighting stance as his claws began to glow an eerie red, a large, saw-toothed Katana being summoned between them. "Crimson Sword!"
"Guile, we can do this. We can fight, don't let those injuries get the better of you!" Shouted the tamer with great vigor as he swiped a card through his pendulum! "Card Slash!: Golden Shield activate!"
With that command an orb of golden energy flew towards the PenProg and merged with Guile, his body glowing gold for a brief moment before it vanished. With a chuckle he looked towards his partner for a brief moment and offered a thumbs-up.
The Guilmon lifted back into the air drawing the Katana in front of his frame. He knew his opponent was much faster than him. . . this had to be just right. "Rock Breaker!" roared the Dinosaur Digimon as he feinted the enemy with the hilt of his weapon only to surprise him by digging the flat end of his blade into one of his gaping fangs. His eyes narrowed as he used his free hand to smack the hilt of his blade causing it to fly into it while attempting to leave a gaping gash in his enemy's maw.

Griever, the Blurred Edge Kuwagamon saw his opponent coming at him again and prepared to counter once more, but was caught off guard by Guile's surprise attack. He jumped back injured by the slash. blood dripped from one of his pincers as he chuckled, "Very observant you are. Now die." His wings erupted outward and began to at high speeds, sending out a ear-damaging ring. Stretching out all for arms, he through them back and then slashed forward sending out a storm of wind-blades that flew at Guile, bouncing off the supersonic that he was creating by flapping his wings. -------------------------------------- Marq winced and closed his ears as the ringing started to have effect on him, making it hard for him to ear.

The attack radius is too far to dodge in time and Guile's defense isn't high enough to come out of that without serious damage!"No choice. . . Guile I know it puts strain on you but bear through it! Shinka!"Shouted Jericho as his hands combusted in a similar fashion to his partner's. The flame on his hands was also a soft one. Tsk. . .Guile and I aren't in Sync, too many distractions.
"Guilmon, Shinka!" Guile braced himself for the impact as his body was shrouded in a white cocoon of energy. He chuckled for a bit as his now larger, muscular, long haired frame pressed up against the shell, only for it to shatter and reveal the fiery beast housed within it. "Growlmon, Kenzan" Guile took the brunt of the damage, but thanks to his new bulky form, he came out of the attack with minimal injuries. In fact. . . his body seemed completely uninjured.
"Golden Shield, a card that negates the enemies damage, and instead adds it to our own attack power. Prepare yourself, if you can use Radius attacks, so can we!"
"DRAGON SPINE!" Shouted the beast with a vigorous roar as his long mane hardened and fired out as bullet-like projectiles. Their range following in suit to Kuwagamon's attack!

Griever, the Blurred Edge Still flapping his wings, Griever, began to shift from side to side, dodging the needles as he was basically hovering now. He lets an sadistic chuckled and zig-zags toward Guile, "SCISSOR ARM!!!" dancing and slices across his his body as he phases out of sight for moments at a time when he sliced. He finished behind with his pincers closed tightly around Guile's waist. Using a portion of the force that he could command in his hard exterior, "TRAP SCISSORS!" Kuwagamon kicked off the ground and flipped Guile over his him, slamming the digimon, head first, into the ground. "That large body of yours will do you no good against the guardian of insects... I wonder how your friend is fairing against my brother.

Guile let out an ear-piercing howl as he was struck meticulously; however something was odd. . . his voice was completely different, he wasn't used to pain. . . it was much louder and feminine. . . As the pincers clasped around his waist he began to struggle, feeling his bones starting to snap as his body was about to be slammed into the ground!
"GUILE! Card Slash: Davis!"shouted Jericho as he swiped his modification card with a large amount of power, bending it in the process.
Guile vanished from the Digimon's pincers before he re-appeared behind Kuwagamon with a smug expression on his face. His large claws, combusted once more as his claws sunk into his opponent's wings. With a sadistic grin Guile lifted his foot above the insect as his toes caught fire! With a hefty slam he delivered a punishing axe-kick to the creature's spine. "Dino Kick!"
Jericho was relieved that his plan had worked, it was all thanks to the Davis card. In a tamer battle it negates the card he or she is attempting to use, but in a normal battle. . . it instead cancels the effectiveness of the previous attack! The young man grit his teeth as the battle intensified, the flames surrounding his hands changing in color. . . from a serene orange, into a hard, almost crystalline vermilion.

Griever, the Blurred Edge "AAAGHH!!" Kuwagamon was went to the ground under the weight of Guile's kick. He gripped at the earth, trying to push up. He looked back at the digimon on top of him and frowned. "Off of me..." a green light began to appear in one of his claws, which then sucked into the ground. Within moments, vines erupted from the ground and wrapped around the digimon's arms and feet, hoisting Guile up into the air and holding him there, stretching the arms and feet out away from the body. Griever picked himself up and flapped his wings, noticing that the blow had damaged them. "You will pay." Kuwagamon jumped back a distance and stretched his pincers out as far as he could, he then charged at Guile and sliced through the digimon, "POWER GUILLOTINE" closing his pincers as hard as he could as he cut through the digimon. Kuwagamon, closed his wings as he stood behind the digimon, not many digimon could survive this deadly technique and he did not except anymore even from one of Leomon's pupils.

"CARD SLASH: RAINBOW DISK VACCINE!" Shouted Jericho as he swiped the card as quickly as he could through his PenProg as soon as he saw the large pincers collapsing upon Guile's frame. The tamer looked at his screen in panic as the Guilmon's hit-points began to drop at an alarming rate. . . it was going to be a one hit finish. "Come on girl survive! Please. . .survive!"
Guile let out an ear piercing howl as her body was being cleaved in twain, large excesses of data flowing out. She couldn't help but smile as she realized that Jericho had revealed her true gender. But within moments she fell lifeless in between the vines, her eyes falling shut.
"Guile. . .NO! Big Sis. . . no its not supposed to end this way! It. . . it can't end this way! Not after everything we've been through! What would the Primo say!?"
The large, dinosaur-like Digimon slowly lifted up her head as her eyes narrowed into tight, reptilian slits. She was barely alive. . . the Rainbow Disk had changed her into a dominant attribute, allowing her to just barely make-it. Though she lacked the strength to really follow-up. "He'd probably laugh at us right now. . . calling us ladies."
Jericho's eyes were filled with a slight bit of hope as he ran up to his partner's side, shouting as loud as he could. "Damn right he would be! Now are we ladies!? No! Now get your butt out of those vines and finish that ROACH off! Card Slash: NOVA BLAST!"
Guile's body was weak, but her attack power hadn't dropped, no, Kuwagamon didn't have abilities that would hinder this Digimon's general strength, only her vitality. "E. . .EXHAUST FLAME!" The large beast belched what appeared to be a hard flame! That same, almost icy looking vermilion that draped her partner's hands. It was filled with power, as well as amplified by the previously played card. This was their gambit, Kuwagamon was arrogant, if this attack hit, it might just turn the battle around!

Chris watched the attack fly at them "Alright Skylar lets get moving" He said.
Skylar quickly did his best to dodge but still got lightly hit. He quickly regained his compsure and flew into the air. He then flapped his wings "Meteor Wing" He said as his attack flew at Kabuterrimon. "Lets see how you stand up to fire" He said. He then flew at him attempting to assault him with his wing.

Griever, the Blurred Edge Fenrir, the Feral Lightning As Kuwagamon was standing behind Guile was was surprised to see that the digimon still had life in it. He quickly turned and looked at the digimon as it was building up energy. "You truly are a persistent one. I should just end the misery for you now."-------------------------------- "Hehehehe... come here little birdie, Mr.Fenrir is gonna give you a feather trimming." Kabuterimon easily weaved through the birds fire attacks, feeling the heat of them, but not being to severely affected by it. As he the bird dive at him, he smirked and stopped flapping his wings, causing to plummet out of range. As he fell, he built up another bolt of electricity and fired it at the bird's exposed chest. "EEEEELECTRO SHOCKER!!!!". The blast shot him down quickly, but he quickly built up his wings speed so he had time to flip over and land on the ground safely.

"Its not persistence, you overgrown gnat, its determination! We're gonna win and you have to deal with it!" Shouted Guile as she opened her maw. However he did not unleash the fire that was building up, instead her throat began to glow a bright orange from the intense build up. With a weak smile, she offered her tamer a thumbs up and wink. They had one last trick up their sleeves.That's it! The hard flame, just like the time we fought Ocatvio, Guile's pivotal point. . . Jericho clasped hands together as his PenProg combusted just as brilliantly as the pyre from his partner's maw. "Alright Guile, we'll do it, but if you die I swear your not getting a CENT amount of me when I get you back!" Its gotta be just right, if we hit the wrong point, we're done for. . . No, Guile can do it, she's done so much for me, I gotta show her I can be her tamer! Guile nodded as her claws burned through the vines holding her up, allowing her to collapse onto the ground on her left knee. She looked downwards as her body began to burn brilliantly, that same hard flame filling every ounce of data within her Jurassic frame. Jericho clasped his hands together as he rose them forward. "GIGA!"The dinosaur digimon raised her body upwards as the heat surrounding her increased. "FIRE ROCK"Dear God. . . let this work, I can't. . . I can't see Guile die again! No, I won't fail this time! We have our determination!"BREA""KER!" The duo has summoned the last ounce of strength within them as they unleashed their custom technique. Guile leaped into the air, body blazing as she spun like a drill. She charged towards the Kuwagamon the flame heating to the point where it broke the spectrum just as it did in the tournament. Instead of a hard vermilion or a serene orange, this flame was multicolored, the state of pure, unfiltered heat. Jericho and Guile roared in Unison as the tamer's partner crashed into their enemy. If this attack failed, they were done for. But right now they didn't care. The pair was in complete sync, something they hadn't done since that very tournament. Where they strong enough to overcome the Insect Guardian? Only time would tell.

Griever, the Blurred Edge Griever was in awe of their combined strength, but would not show it as he prepared for another finisher. "POWER GUILLOTINE!!!" The bug launched himself at the burning digimon, taking in the flames of their assault as well as slashing through his target again with now glowing pincers. Result Edit: There was a bit of an explosion from the clash of the two forces. After the smoke cleared, Kuwagamon was on a knee huffing with cuts and burns that were oozing data. He smirked, knowing that he was probably defeated. He considered playing his trump card, but figured that it would be... unfair. Kuwagamon then passed out and fell to the ground, turning into a digi-egg that then floated away.
