Nah. I regret some choices I made within various fandoms, sure, but overall? I've had the time of my life, met great friends and been entertained.

I get more push-back for my mecha/robo fandoms.

I wouldn't regret liking yaoi, ever. Because yaoi is love. heart And if someone doesn't like it, it's their problem. Because I have tons of other friends I coudl discuss yaoi with. ^^
Teh only regretable thing woudl be that manga is expensive. I barely have enough. sweatdrop

Me, a fanboy, is very greatful for having yaoi fangirls!
Although they practically run the fanclubs, I'm happy to have them! ^_^
Most of them write the best scripts that end up being a Top Rated Manga/Anime [whatevers] and it makes the world go round...

Personally, i try not to publisize it, but i don't mind telling my friends! i mean, i trust them to already know i'm wierd! xd

i do feel guilty sometimes, though, knowing that i'm going behind my parents back, but then sometimes i think "Well, millions of normal teenage boys watch porn everyday, and its normal for teenagers to be interested in sex and the likes (scientifically proven!) so, its not really that strange!

no one ever said, "Thou shalt not read Yaoi!!!!"

i feel like as long as your mature enough to handle Yaoi, then its fine!

as for the guy talking about Yaoi fangirls (in the first post) well, if he bangs a girl and hour after meeting her...he should be expecting a few nasties!!!

There were many times when I have felt sickened by my liking for it, I've regretted liking it a lot of times and even have tried to force myself off of it, but the more I try to ignore the more I end up getting into it. I'm still surprised no one around me in real life has found out.

I don't regret liking it but I regret introducing it to this one girl. Now she's a crazy fangirl.

No matter which direction you take...

Nope! Never regret it.

I mean, In 8th grade I got freaked out about it when my friend first showed me Elricest, That was something to remember! XD

Then I started liking it more 83

Never regretted since then, if anybody has a problem well tough, I like what I like |:

No, I don't regret it, and I never have or never will. I mean, there was a time, at first, when I was ashamed about it and thought it wasn't completely normal for a girl my age to like something like that. I was 15 years old then. But never regretted it, no.

But I have always been open about my interest in yaoi, I told my friends about it, and my parents know about my obsession towards yaoi too. They don't think it's normal because they are very oldfashioned but can't do anything because I'm an adult. Actually, I think half of the school I went to knew about me liking yaoi, since I read yaoi manga on the hallways...

I even told my ex-boyfriend about my yaoi obsession immediately after getting to know him. He actually downloaded it for me and thought it wasn't too weird, but I guess he was just very tolerating... xd

And yes, I think I'm a little bit proud about the thing I love yaoi, it's normal to me nowadays, and homophobes make me just angry. I have nothing good to say about them... stare

Sometimes. emo

I don't really have any friends who share an interest in it like I do, and when they look at things like that and go "Eww!", it kinda makes me feel like I don't belong sometimes...
But to be a pervert or not to be one... I am a proud yaoi fangirl! xd Though I feel sad that I must hide it from like, EVERYONE, I still love and support it.

And just thinking of my life WITHOUT yaoi... man, I think that'd be WORSE than if I never had it, right? lol

I don't care, except if my parents know. But if a friend of mine saw me posting pics at my house and started to yell at me I'd tell her that I'm a free spirit that can do what she wants.

I am extremely proud to be a yaoi fan.
Even before yaoi, I was a porno perv, so yaoi wasn't much of a change. Porno cartoons, gay style.
But I'm bi, so I dunno if that really means anything.
xDDD

I am a very open yaoi fan. I guess it comes from leaning more towards the same sex myself. <3

....Aannyywaayy...
Yaoi just doesn't seem wrong to me. It can be so cute sometimes!
Love is love, my dear. Let them be.

I could never regret liking Yaoi.
Back on my freshmen year i dated this guy for around 10 months and he knew everything as far as me liking anime, but then when i became friends with this girl that i now consider my seme, we realized we both like Yaoi and thats where he kinda felt like WTF?
He thought it was sick, specially cause at that time i was such a noob over it.
But no, i couldnt never regret liking Yaoi or Shounen ai.

Hell no, I'm not ashamed.

If straight guys get to think girl on girl action is hot, us straight girls should be able to feel the same exact way with yaoi. It doesn't make us perverts, we're perfectly normal. (Well, generally, anyway...)
