whats the purpose of cutting

i do it for more then one reason

the first is to realive stress from school, parents, etc...
the second is for when i f**k up i do it to punish myself sometimes. last is because it feals good. ive done it for a while now and pain really isnt a thing anymore, which is why its horrible when i f**k up. i just try to go deeper and deeper

i used to cut and when i did it i used it as a means to feel physical pain to match the emotional pain i was going through at the time. i'm a lot happier now so i've stopped cutting...at least for a while...
