Trigun is hardly mainstream, it was out 10 years before it got any success and the anime was aired in japan on a midnight slot, the release of it is by hard work and dedication from Yasuhiro Nightow. It is by no means over rated, when you consider how cold its reception everywhere was, especially in America, it built its fan base slowly and over many years, if its main stream now, its not due to over night success.

Why:Fruits Basket b/c it is so chibi and cute but awesome, Fushigi Yugi b/c it is awesome along with all the other Yuu Watase works, Model because it is a sweet angsty vampire romance, my fav. genre, MeruPuri b/c it is so cute!! Vampire because I am OBSESSED with vampires, if you haven't noticed, lol. I LOVE FANTASY!!!!!
Most Hated: Um, Serenity, I guess.
Why: IT IS NOT MANGA!!! the animation sucks and it is completely stupid and it scares me!!!
Recommend to: people who love fantasy(furuba, fy, model, merupuri, vampire knight, etc.) I also love shojo(nana, crimson hero, etc.) And yaoi!!

Favorite anime or mangas: Trigun, Berserk, GTO, El Hazard, Cowboy Bebop, G Gundam, Yu Yu Hakusho, Bleach, DMC, Fist of the North Star, and some others.
Why: I just happen to like the characters and story and world in each of these. Also the style of the anime, all are different and I enjoy mixing it up. Some of these I also really enjoy the music, Bleach's 3rd Ost has to be one of my favorite OST ever.
Most Hated: .hack//Sign, Record of Lodoss War, Death Note, Gundam SEED, Naruto.
Why: The first two are animes I thought would be good looking at them and hearing the story over view, but it was poorly done and just ******** boring. Death Note was good until the chick comes in that loves Light then it turned to s**t. Gundam SEED is just all bad one of the worst Gundam shows ever. Naruto is just a mix of animes I like and a** loads of flash backs, I forgot I was in a flash back mid episode countless times.
Recommend to: I recommend GTO to those who want a great drama anime that is really funny, it hits at other animes a lot so you might miss some jokes if you haven't seen them.
