I think it takes real talent for bands like these to have so many people that like them.
People at school who are techno listeners effing listen to them. And like them. That's gotta be something hard to do.

celine_jules24 i dont mind the other two... but i wish mcr didnt change. the black parade sucks, and i'm sorry if i offended anyone, but its true to me.
<3 Its true! The Black Parade does suck I just dont see how the hell anyone likes that cd!

A.Box.Of.Sharp.Objects Ahh I hate My Chem now. I am so pissed off at them that they changed and i hate them for going commercial. The are all sellouts that are just in it for the money. Eww and MCR sound like queen now. How ******** THE BLACK PARADE They went commercial years ago.

DaisukeOrDark I love Queen.....I'm with Rellik whats wrong with Queen. I bet you haven't even listend to Night At The Opera. Seriously. I bet they've not even listened to Brighton Rocks, The Highlander OST or even the Flash Gordon OST. You know, the 3 essential queen albums.

But most people talk about Opera when referring to MyChem because they supposedly used it as inspiration.

Its all to do with the power of image, those bands are popular because of image alone, if MCR didn't have such an attractive, charismatic (I use the terms VERY! loosely here) front man, they wouldn't be half as popular I gaurentee it.

You're simply a phekkin morron to even suggest that My Chemical Romance is any where near pop music. You should be shot for god's sake!
They are mainstream, and mainstream kills, but by no means are they pop, thats just ignorant. neutral I could see maybe saying Panic! at the Disco, but even then, Fall Out Boy and Panic! ARE ALTERNATIVE! Geezuz.
I will say that My Chemical Romance's older stuff was amazingly good (and better then the newer), but I think the Black Parade was damn good too. Honestly I think if it wasn't for the whole mainsteam s**t it would be different. But thats just my opinion.
