Isel I sent them this letter.My e-mail to the people of God Hates Goth I read your website, and I cannot understand for the life of me how you can so openly criticize and stereotype a subculture that has existed in the Western world for almost 3 decades. Do you know that parents like yourselves only cause your children to hold stronger grudges against you for violently berating the ways that they wish to live in? How can you insist that your God, an omnipotent being who sent Jesus down to teach us to love our neighbors, one and all, is a hateful being? Much less, hateful towards a teenage subculture, which only very few members of said subculture have chosen darker paths? I would think that you all, as Christians, would follow the ways of your Messiah, one who loved and was able to forgive all that lived on God's green earth. That is all. You may ban me, post my message on your website, or do whatever slanderous act you wish with this, but keep in mind that you all are certainly a negative testimonial for the Christian faith.

The best part of that whole site is "THE DEVIL'S MUSIC."
They condemn Pink Floyd for "rebellious lyrics."
rofl
All the reasons that they condemn bands for is completely rediculous, but amusing nonetheless.
Whoever wrote this site is cool in my book. I like any satire, but the effect something like this has on the populous is just funny.

Flack, NOW they put up the disclaimer. They just re-did the site, it wasn't up there last time I checked it. I figured that it had to be satire, but the dude's been doing it for so long that I was beginning to doubt.

Yeah... I totally got very offended. I am a christian... I was very sad when I read the whole thing. I began looking for a contact because I was breaking out my bible to lay it down for them.
And then... After I wrote an e-mail to my mom at church (she's the secretary) to ask her opinion on the whole thing... I found the disclaimer. I died.
I feel better now.

If i ever see someone in a "godhatesgoth" or "Mothers Against Goth" T-shirt i am going to give them a big hudg and remind them that God loves them. i would do this for two reasons. 1: because they would be totaly horrified by it. 2: becuase as a chirstian i am called to love everyone as i love myself.
ui mean i realy would like to cause imense physical harm to them but I'm not sure i have a vio;ent bone left in my body, except when it comes to mosh-pits.
