I have an aquantance who's a self proffessed Celtic Wiccan. By that, I mean that she's a Wiccan who worships the Lord and Lady as well as her Celtic Matron Goddess. She has lineage, initiation and is part of a coven.
How is this in violation of the five qualifications?

Poor semantics in the "five qualifications"? Should the one about deities read "If you slap other deities into the roles of Lord and Lady" rather than "If you worship deities other than these"?

I'm inclined to believe so.

Reagun, I would be inclined to say that because of how Gardner phrased some of his points, to work with deities outside of the Lord and Lady- you wouldn't be able to be counted amongst them.

I'll have to reread the quotes I am thinking of and get back to you.
