Nohope02 PirateFairyEnchantress MCR and music like that is sort of accepted where i live (Merry Old England). I don't ever get stupid comments about my taste in music, even if i wear my MCR t-shirt. Well, ok, i've had a few stupid comments from a few stupid people, but i don't resppect those people enough to care. People are actually pretty laidback about other's taste in music in my area, because there are so many different cultures and groups of people. I love it. What part of england do you live in? I wanna move there!! I've been bullied all my life about one thing or another. Forget what they say it never gets easier! The one thing that really bugs me is that when I get my hair dyed I'm a poser yet when its not died I'm fake. confused I actually got the lesbian thing too........

We'll carry on! I've never got picked on because of MCR. Though at lunch the day The Black Parade came out, we played Helena (that was the only MCR song we were gonna play; we were using my sister's friend's PSP) and guys nearby kept saying, "TURN OFF THAT s**t!!!" I yelled back at them, "WHITE PARADERS!!!" Ah, that was a good burn. Anywho, I only get picked on because [1] I'm half Wiccan, [2] I like to wear a lot of black sometimes (you wear mostly black one day and nearly everybody thinks you're gothic), and [3] I'm emotionally emo (I say 'emotionally emo' because kids these days think emo is a fashion trend [stupid kids], so I call that 'physically emo'). If someone ever asked if I was emo just because I listen to My Chemical Romance, I'd say, "Yeah. You got a problem with that?!"

i have been made fun of. but luckily i have friends to support me. (even if they don't like MCR anymore.... emo ) but there are many things people are made fun of and yes... maybe being a "loli-goth emo skater punk" isn't so normal, but then again, who decides what's normal? if you're being picked on the best thing to do is try and ignore them. you can't let yourself believe what you're told and you definately cannot give in to the world. one way i suggest very strongly is to learn and practice comebacks (one's that will stun the person, not anger them) and just witty comments. one day, you'll find a group to shadow and help you and then you can really just forget that those "bullies" were ever there.
take it from me, become ninja !!!

It's just people that ran out of things to complain about or there girlfriend/boyfriend broke up with them. They're harmless believe me it's just they're jelouse or something... I always wanted to say that, but now... I sound, like my mother. I myself have never been made fun of for my music, I don't dress like my music at all, I don't wear a lot of make up if any and I always always where jeans and not black pants. And plus I have very opening friends, it's great to listen to all of these stories ^^ ( not it a bad way like ther hurtful it's just great when people give advice!)

Everyone at school says I'm emo, which I know I'm not so it doesn't bug me much, but when they call MCR emo, is when I get pissed off. Nobody believes me when I say they're not emo, some have even gone so far as to tell me they're not even Rock. So far I don't even know what they are anymore, except really, really good music. <3

At my school they think its just a whiny emo band. only because they're much better off listening to john mayor..pretending who the ramones are and smoking as much pot then telling everyone they're straight edge.

And that is just off people who sorta know me. I went through a phase where it was black everything, and now because I don't like way I look I still wear it for self conscious reasons. Any who It kinda gets annoying when you pass an alternative clothing shop or you like something that isn't rock related or black you parents or grandparents pointing out "Ere don't you want to go in there, you won't like it in here, it's not black enough for you"
Or
"Are you goth?" From all of my family, It's times like that where I really stop wanting to explain and just say Yes.

I also get bashed. Usually i get called EMO or Goth. I normally just flip them off and walk away. I work in the industry so i mean, the people that matter are all like me or are cool and understand. They appreciate ALL types of music since we work with ALL types. So when ignorant people get on my case i don't give a hell. College is tricky that way. lol You get assholes and great people. Then when on tours, festivals, concerts and stuff...you get all great..yet idiotic people. lol LOVE the music scene. rofl
