SHIONxxxxxMORI Shion nodded to Kagerou at her offer to scout out the area ahead; if any of the three were capable of fending for themselves, it'd be her. "Right. Move ahead, but I want you out at the first sign of trouble," she'd reply to Kagerou. "I don't want to make any risky moves unless we absolutely have to." Turning to Yuno, Shion would issue her own set of orders for the genin. "Yuno, I'm going to keep an eye on the cave. I'm trusting you to watch our backs throughout this mission." Her tone was stern and disciplined, leaving practically no trace of the bratty punk Yuno had encountered in the village. With everyone's orders in place, Shion took a calming breath to balance herself, then turned to watch the tunnel entrance.
The wait for something to happen didn't take long at all. In fact, it seemed like mere minutes after their teammate had entered the tunnels until something actually happened. Unfortunately for Shion, it was probably the worst case scenario. As the tunnel doors began to seal themselves, Shion had to make a snap decision: go into the unknown or leave their teammate alone in the dark. "Yuno, on me!" she'd bark to the kid, dashing off into the cave and hopefully spurring her into action quick enough for them both to make it through the doorway in time.
Taking the cue of Shion's voice, Kagerou would give a curt affirmation, "Understood," that carried a weight within its words even as she smiled comfortably.
Then she disappeared, reappeared, and casually entered the tunnels as described in a prior post.
Unfortunately, Kagerou wore closed toe shoes. A pair of rather cute, beige lace-ups, in fact. Although, that wasn't terribly important, right? Not unless their ANTagonist was a particularly ANTsy fellow who would try to ANTe up the fight by pulling ANT-noying pr-ANT-ks like tying Kagerou's shoes tog-ANT-her.
Therefore, her first clue that something was wrong wasn't the ant that crawled against her foot, but rather the sound her footsteps made as she walked into the cave. The acoustics sounded off for a cave in this environment. Kagerou expected a slightly crisper sound when she stepped then what she heard. Her mind immediately suspected that perhaps there was a layer over the ceiling of the cave that she couldn't see, and that what appeared to be rock was not.
As she considered this possibility, her face carefully kept neutral in that ever-present smile of her's, the cave moved.
Naturally, this alarmed Kagerou, but she didn't really appear all that alarmed. She was calm, as ever, and still smiling. Her eyes and head shifted this way and that to assess the situation. Two quick movements, and Kagerou understood.
The light was dim, but this shifting was difficult to ascribe to a doton technique. An Aburame technique, and accustomed as she was to seeing such a technique used within the ever obscuring mist of her home, it almost didn't take her any thought to confidently decide that must be what she was seeing. The sensor's previous report, or lack thereof, was icing on the cake.
Naturally, when she learned this was an Aburame technique, all of the knowledge she had diligently studied about that bloodline came right to her.
There was a lot she had studied.
There was a moment of... Most would call it weakness. Kagerou preferred to think of it as strength when she had the time to mull over such thoughts that is. Whatever it was, she briefly considered letting the technique overtake her, keeping up the act in the hopes that perhaps it may abate as simply a test and she would able to speak to whoever used to it. She understood well what the Aburame's kikaichu did. What they could do. What the results were. She really did... hold a bit of a soft spot for them, it seemed.
She held a soft spot for them, but she had been trained since childhood. The walls shifted, Kagerou considered. Shion shouted her orders, Kagerou acted, and not on what she considered. Precisely because she knew the Aburame so well, she didn't hesitate when she heard that her two teammates were on the approach. It would be dangerous if they were trapped, too. If they revealed themselves, then simply waiting will not create a chance to talk. Judging from their temperaments, they would try to destroy the Kikaichu and then advance, in which case, Kagerou might as well be efficient about it. It would be best if she finished her strike before Shion and Yuno got too close.
Wind to scatter. Fuel the flames that burn.
Kagerou took a deep breath as her practiced hands ran through a quick series of hand signs. With a little extra effort, she molded the chakra of her techniques into their unique dance, and with her technique, the bugs around her danced as a strong breeze picked up at Kagerou's feet. Kagerou stood peacefully in the center as the petal-like manifestations of chakra that filled her fuuton technique appeared as if they would enclose on her at any moment, yet defying the very nature of the technique that attacked those in the center, it instead exerted all of the force in the other direction, to the outside. The technique rebuffed, but did not completely reject, the coffin of insects that threatened to close her, while those poor Kikaichu without a firm enough grip, such as the ones that were trying to close the cave entrance, were quite literally scattered in the winds.
She wasn't quite done yet. Her hands, certainly, didn't stop moving, and as they finished another set of hand seals, in tribute to a dear friend, a spider of flames materialized briefly around Kagerou. Its body stood over her, eight legs keeping the wave of insects at bay. Then in the next moment, it flared brightly as the winds fed it then took it away, sweeping it thoroughly through and against the deluge of insects. If one looked closely, then they might see burning petals and spider-like sparks dancing together in the winds. Otherwise, simply put, Kagerou had, with the calmest smile, made a small fire tornado in an enclosed cave.
Breeze fueled flame. Heat gave breath to wind. A self-collaboration of Benjigumo [ Crimson Earth Spider ] and Dance of Hana Chirimai [ Flower Scattering Dance ]. By turning Hana Chiramai into such a wide spread dance, Kagerou had strengthened it as a side effect, allowing it to take down two techniques of its rank, rather than the usual one. Then, when it combined with Benjigumo, the two techniques multiplied the other's power in order to become able to fully neutralize the impending coffin. It looked pretty, but it wasn't without its risks. The deep breath Kagerou had taken would last her for a while, but after it ran through, the sudden burst of fire likely exhausted most of the oxygen in the cave. So long as the entrance remained clear, this wouldn't be a problem, but one could never get too comfortable.
Supposedly, the Kikaichu died. Kagerou had learned from a dear friend that they lived for only a very short time anyways, but even then, she felt a little sorrowful for their deaths. How long had it been since she last had a good chat with an Aburame?...
Oh, wait. Kagerou wasn't done. Mmm... Her field of vision was obstructed by the first... and only now did she see there were three more, each moving towards her. Kagerou shifted casually in a direction that drew two of the three tornadoes in an angle that had them get closer to each other as they closed in on her. The sticky feeling of bugs crawling all over her feet was easily ignored. Mm... It seemed like... these tornadoes were about three hot tubs large? Kagerou wasn't sure exactly if her technique would swallow it all, but she was winging it since making her mistake. Her chakra materialized around her as she moved. Green leaves, waving branches, and four symbols of the same color that darkened into a black sphere. A decisive step towards the two tornadoes that were now relatively close to each other then activating the fuuin. With that, two out of the remaining three were sealed within a scroll Kagerou had pulled out from... somewhere.
Now one left, and unfortunately, Kagerou was rather uncomfortably close to it. However, wide as her eyes might have gone, she still found the time to see Shion and Yuno in her peripheral vision. Feeling a little embarrassed at having done so much, Kagerou put her faith in her teammates.

Offensive techniques transformed in this way follow the multi-target rules, diminishing in power the more targets are hit. The power of supplementary techniques, however, are excluded, maintaining power regardless of the number of targets. As the burst is controlled, the user is able to choose who is affected by the technique. The augment can cost anywhere from E- to A-rank. This technique effectively traps and attacks an opponent at the same time, and can be used to force them into another attack.
Katon: Onidōrō [ Fire Release: Demon Lantern ] Rank: S Official Description: This technique releases many floating fireballs around the user, which take the shape of ghosts at the final stage of the technique. After performing the required hand seal, they attack the opponent in swarms. Each fireball creates a huge flame at the moment of impact. Guild Description: See official description. Creates ten [10] fireballs per use of the technique. Fireballs will continue chasing the target until otherwise stopped or they hit their mark.
Ura Shishō Fūinjutsu [ Reverse Four Symbols Sealing Technique ] Type: Spiritual Official Description: It releases four symbols from the place of setting that then forms a large, black sphere around it. Anything caught inside the sphere's area is then drawn in and sealed within the fuuin. Guild Description: Requires minimum S-rank training in Fūnyū no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ] and to know Kakuchō [ Expansion ] (to ignore the 'one [1] item per seal' limit). Usually, the user will inscribe several Fuuin over a wide area, in a circular fashion, or spread objects around the area that have the Fuuin already inscribed on them. In either case, there needs to be at least one Fuuin scroll, or other appropriate material, to be used as the vessel for what will be sealed with this technique. The rank of the vessel will determine the capacity of what can be sealed into it. This jutsu allows the distant activation of all placed symbols, opening up a large vacuum to seal all loose material into the one designated vessel scroll until either the channel of chakra is canceled by the user or the capacity is reached. The range for this is fifty [50] feet. ____Inscriptions of Power → Through tireless study and practice ninja of this discipline have learned to create fuuinjutsu that is stronger than those of their peers. Gaining the property of overwhelming all fuunjutsu will defeat techniques of the same rank unless they also overwhelm same rank, in which case they will cancel out. Universal Attributes
• Kiritani Heritage - The Kiritani, the maternal side of Kagerou's family, have a long tradition of serving Kirigakure from the shadows and high standards to match. Being able to cast techniques without hand signs is what they consider the bare minimum, and they expect no less from Kagerou despite her Uchiha surname. Kagerou can replace hand signs/seals with equivalent gestures and motion from the wrists or fingers of one hand. • Hippocratic Oath - Whatever it takes from her, Kagerou is determined to save every life she can, more so than taking any. When a healing eiseijutsu is used, a single healing or situational eiseijutsu of lower rank can be supplemented onto it for no extra cost in chakra or activation. This includes augment techniques. • Nightmare Veteran - There's really no place like home. Even genjutsu struggles to match hellish nightmare created from the mind of an exhausted Jack, and this experience, along with several others, has left the already naturally calm Kagerou even better suited to remain composed in the face of any pressure. She is adept at seeing through genjutsu, and even when she can't (or if the horror turns out to not be genjutsu at all), she's still incredibly difficult to ruffle to the point that once Kagerou recognizes the genjutsu, it loses much of its potency. A recognized genjutsu of lower rank than Kagerou cannot inflict real injuries on Kagerou, and while her physical body within the genjutsu is still affected as normal--being pushed, pulled, bound, or what have you--emotional and other strictly mental sensations have no hold on her. • Inkapocalypse - You thought this was a pun on Inka, but it was me! Dio! Bad jokes aside, the PA really isn't about Inka. Dissatisfied by her cluelessness during the Sero pod event, Kagerou spent days researching sealing, and through sheer repetition, it's become easier for her to use seals. She can write seals up to her body rank on the fly, using even her own chakra manifestation if necessary. Writing a seal takes up the same activation as using it, and in the case when her chakra manifestation is used to form a seal, her chakra becomes visible to the naked eye and she can only extend her manifestation as far as 1m away from her body. For the purposes of this PA, Fuuinjutsu includes the Kuchiyose techniques. When a chakra manifestation seal absorbs something, said something is considered to be stored within her chakra manifestation until it is later released with the appropriate technique. • Blood Moon - In the light of the blood moon, Kagerou maintained her calm and spread it to others. Since then, such a practice has imprinted itself into her eiseijutsu. Targets of Kagerou's eiseijutsu can korabo their kai with the eiseijutsu technique, increasing the strength of their kai by one rank. "Got it commander," she replied when told to watch the rear. It was then that Yuno moved backwards to get deeper into the foliage of the area before jumping up and into a tree to take out a look out position. Of course she wasn't there for very long as the call to group up on Shion came quickly. Soon enough she was running a few feet behind the older girl. However as they neared the entrance Yuno soon realized what exactly was blocking it. A wall of ants. Black chitinous little insects crawling over each other with their disgusting little bodies. Her own body froze as she skidded to a stop. Heart pounding from the run and from the terrifying site before her she paused. Taking a deep breath to center herself she resumed running towards the wall but whether she would make it in time was unknown at this point. If the wall were to close up before she could safely dive in Yuno would back off and reassess her position.

SHIONxxxxxMORI As the pair of kunoichi approached the sealing barrier, Shion used the momentum of her advance to throw a powerful punch at the breach. Rather than make contact with the 'door,' her punch would fall just short of the bugs letting a violent explosion clear their path. Once inside, it didn't take long for her to find the team's third, and she wasnt alone. Shion quickly drew the blade she kept slung across her back, nicking her thumb in the process. A rookie mistake for any wanna-be sword wielder, but this was all according to plan.
In one swift motion, Shion slid her bloody thumb across the floor of the cave and brought her blade up into a readied position. A quick puff of smoke quickly engulfed the tiny swordswoman and from it emerged an aged cat clad in tribal fetishes and ceremonial paints. In the blink of an eye, the cat was on top of Kagerou, slamming the gnarled stick she called a staff into the ground and causing a torrent of flames to radiate outwards; all the while, Shion steadied her breath, taking in the surroundings and getting ready to make her first move.
The interesting thing about Kikaichu. While their lives were indeed fleeting. They were insanely durable in their short life spans. Kagerou's techniques meant to destroy the one Ant-nado only caused it to disperse. The sound of cracking chitin under intense heat echoing in the cave. However, there still remained a rough two thousand or more in an organized mass. The two masses she had sealed indeed had vanished in their entirety contained wholly within the scroll they were sealed into. The thing about sealing living things however, is that much like those games involving pocket monsters they can struggle to find freedom. The scroll would leap, and bounce a few times before conceding to the seal's strength. This left a scattered mess of half an ant-nado and one fully existing ant-nado.
Likewise as stated earlier the remnants of the ant wall that had survived Kagerous attack were attempting to form another weaker ant wall with its lessened brethren. But...sadly Shion's explosive entrance utterly annihilated the rest of their number. Shion would arrive on the scene only to see scattered ants and one ant-nado heading in the medics direction well thats what she would have seen if not for calling in her backup so suddenly which then flooded the cavern with flames. In doing so...all that remained was a mass of scattered ants which in their reduced size decided to flee as oppose to commit to another weaker version of their attack what with the entire cave being filled with their scorched brethren having now become ashes.
The full cavern now fully exposed the tunnels in the walls having skeletal and desiccated remains plucked apart inside and the two large double wide metal doors in front of them. Then they would hear a voice coming from what seemed like all directions from these tunnels. "Aw. Man. That was really. Totally. Very. Not Cool. Do you even KNOW. Like. Fo real. HOW HARD. It was to set up a trap like that. I mean GOD. DAMN. IT. DUDE. BOSSMAN. IS GUNNA BE. SOOOOOOO. PISSED. AT ME." Then what sounded like skittering from inside one of the canals the no doubt mastermind behind this ambush popped out giving a friendly two finger salute. Ah...not the bird kind. The sentai kind. "Yo." The man...he sported a suit. A suit not unlike those Shion would have been familiar with on Endaishima. The kind UHV wear to give them powers and essentially mimic having chakra. No doubts about it this guy was definitely UHV and moreover, he seemed pretty lax for a dude that needed purging and just had his forces wiped out.

Between the fire inside the cave and Shion's blast the ant's had been cleared away far more than enough for Yuno to slip in behind Shion. Though still incredibly skeeved out with a feeling like her skin was crawling Yuno simply stuck close to Shion, doing her best to just not be in the way. Following Shion's example of drawing a blade, Yuno pulled her rapier from its sheath and watched as the last of the bugs fled. With a small sigh of relief she continued to watch the rear for any trouble.
However her focus was shifted with the emergence of the foe behind the ants. His big mouth tipped her off that there was probably an even stronger foe somewhere within this fortress maze. Perhaps he was cocky and thought they would easily be defeated. However it would seem that together Shion and Kagerou were more than a match for the man. Still Yuno would wait silently for instructions, not rising to any verbal trap the man might have laid by revealing so much about himself.
"Thank you kindly," Kagerou addressed the cat summon, expressing her gratitude while suppressing the urge to pet the cat out of respect for the cat, "I would have been in trouble if not for you and your summoner." Kagerou gave Shion a grateful nod so that the other would not feel left out, but unfortunately, time could not be wasted too much on words in this situation. After perceiving that Yuno was bringing up the rear, albeit a little paler than Miyun recalled, she directed her attention to further in the cave, the flames being of little bother to her.
A voice came first. Then the person himself.
To test the waters (and definitely not for her entertainment), Kagerou greeted with an off-handed smile, "Well, I hate to admit, but it was a bit ANT-iclimactic," after stepping a couple yards away from Shion and Yuno. As she spoke gently, her eyes scratched as much detail as they could off of his visual appearance. His outfit, if Kagerou wasn't wrong, was UHV wear. Of course, she could very well be. She had never directly faced the UHV. His demeanor, either he was the type to remain lax and loose regardless of the consequences or he wasn't as troubled as his words implied. It was best to be careful. After all, the techniques may have been dispelled, but one could see that there were still plenty of ants.

━ It was Mikoto's turn to display his skills before the village head. And he performed splendidly in the ninja arts of medicine before flowing into an offensive routine to display his clan's nature and his range of ability. He was indeed capable of defensive or healing and offensive skills, which was more than enough to prove his worth to the village leader. It was no wonder Mikoto was part of their little group.
Szen shared the semblance of a smile as pride tinged his eyes. They nearly formed two merry arcs before his gaze flitted towards Kairi. It was her turn now. She didn't hesitate to summon an elemental dragon formed from an irregular gathering of winds. Kairi followed up with what sounded like an illusion, based upon the man's reactions, then closed her performance with some target practice.
After voicing his renewed confidence in the small crew, the older man beckoned them to follow him onto a nearby training ground. The area was littered with target dummies and scattered weapons here and there. No doubt this was a place where their previously hired mercenaries had trained before this travesty had struck. The enclosed area was covered with grass dried and stamped down through use. High fences that could not be seen past created the enclosure, most likely to keep any projectiles from smacking some passerby.
Szen drew forth a kunai from his pouch and followed suit. He used the flexibility of his arm as a whip to send the kunai rocketing in a slight arc toward a target, in the far corner of their enclosed area. It tore through wind, whistling wildly before striking near the center of its intended mark. This surprised even Szen a little. His eyes grew wider for a mere moment and he scratched the back of his head before heading over to the dummy's head, to retrieve his kunai. Arm retracting with his knife in hand, Szen turned back to Minori Ito and extended his arms barely from his sides. "Do you see now, Ito-sama? My friends and I can and will rescue your child. We only ask that you have a little faith and remain adamant against their will."

SHIONxxxxxMORI Shion's narrowing gaze focused in on the source of the vocalizations almost as soon as the speaker made his presence known. While he showboated, the young squad leader took her time to study his appearance taking note of anything and everything that could come as a surprise. Nothing stood out to her as a problem, nothing except the trademarked UHV armor. Shion had seen it countless times in the years leading up to the fall of the UHV and the founding of Arashigakure. It looked weathered and worn, but it was clearly still functional; luckily she knew all too well what it did and how to exploit it. With any luck, Kagerou had encountered it too. Yuno on the other hand, was in the dark. She would have only been a child during the war, barely of age to enter the academy. She'd need to be filled in.
Their opponent was a loud-mouth to be sure, so hopefully Kagerou's banter would cause enough of a distraction for Shion to slip a plan of attack to Yuno. Shion would lean slightly in towards the genin beside her and whisper just audibly enough for her to hear. "Don't be fooled by his appearance; this guy is far more dangerous than he looks. That armor has a build in shielding mechanism. It's one time use. I'm going to rush him to force him to break the shield early. When he does, I'm counting on you and Kagerou to deal the final blow so stick close and watch for openings you can take advantage of in the mean time. Can you do that for me?" Shion didn't wait for a response. Yuno would just have to be ready to deal with the cards she was dealt. Deep down, Shion almost felt sorry for the girl being put up against a former UHV soldier. Almost. Then she remembered that she took down one of these guys with less experience than the kid had. She'll be fine. Ribs might need some fixing, but they had a doctor on site.
Once Shion was cleared of Yuno by about ten feet, she'd shout a command to her summon. "Incango, on Yuno!" She'd belt as two massive jets of pure Bakuton nitro roared to life from her palms threatening to drown out her own voice. Incango would nod to Kagerou, gently tussling her hair, before moving into a supportive position of the kid. The ground beneath Shion would be turned to scattered bits of rubble as she literally tore a path towards the super sentai sucker. In the blink of an eye, Shion was on top of the man, throwing a punch at the man which would, much like in the case of the wall outside, fall short of actually hitting his body. Instead, a truly awe-inspiring explosion would erupt from the girl's fist, this time laced with the searing blue flames of the demon which she played host to. A flash of dull blue illuminated the cave in full, threatening to swallow the man whole unless he used his trump card now.
The man remained in the cave when Kagerou made her Ant pun it was aptly acknowledged but not in the most pleasant of ways in fact he was almost sounding as though he lost a bet. "Ah dang it...that's worth at least four greens." Digging in his pockets the man produced four Ryo pieces. Only they were green with his mask on them. "Gotta respect our code here in the tunnels. Still, that doesn't mean I gotta hand them to you." these three oddly colored Ryo pieces would then clink on the floor. Right after an exclamation mark formed metaphorically when Shion began whispering.
Albeit it the reactionary time of it was lacking in all sense of the word. There was no trump card. There was no fancy device attached to this mans armor. Because this man was not a man at all. When the smoke would clear from Shion's explosive fist the man's head would have been blown clean off. The reason for his cockiness was made obvious. Only a grade A level dumbass would expose themselves to a potential enemy force and the GREEN ANT was only at very most Grade B. Where the viscera and gore would have been there were just more ants...only the ants that compromised this sentai's body was not the black ants that attacked them earlier they were, in fact, green. The rest of the body fell apart into green ants which then scurried a mushi bunshin...but the underlying danger was not in that there was a trick or surprise attack no the danger was that Shion had just killed a large sum of green ants. Now why would that be a problem? A bell rang for the viewers at home.

Both a blessing and a curse these leaf nests are harvested because green ants are quite the delicacy you know and loaded with protein! Clearly due to the number of predators that lurk in the trees such as birds and mantids the Green ant is subject to being preyed upon frequently and suffice to say finding food in a competitive biome such as the canopies can prove difficult for the Green ant bloop. Recall earlier how I said a Green Ant is the weakest of ants alone. Well, a brilliant evolutionary development in this genus has allowed them to solve two of their biggest problems with one stone. When a member of the colony dies the pheromones emitted are far stronger than any normal ant. These pheromones are the same as the ones used by most scouting ants to find food. bloop. Essentially when a Green ant dies in its death it basically screams FOOD HERE! AVENGE ME! Bloop. So that its death is not in vain. Now clearly one realizes even the weakest of individuals can be troublesome in large numbers. Usually, minutes or even seconds after the death pheromones are released a swarm is incoming bloop. How do I know this? Ah, I have a fellow artist that fancies insect pinning as a medium he also happens to be an entomologist." -END-
The voice was heard from the tunnels again. "Dude. Piss. What if that was the real me? I'd be hella dead! Not even Honey could heal that. Heck that punch'd probably even shake Black. FREAKIN SCARY s**t! NOT COOL. I'm just the freakin guy that built this place. I guess this rules out you bein friendlies wantin ta join up. Man. I liked you green-haired lady. But. MAN. You lot. REALLY SCREWED UP. LIKE. BIG TIME. NOW YOU GOTTA PAY THE UNCOOL TAX. Man. I wish I could take those Greens back." Suddenly the entire cave began to shake. The metallic double doors began to break and bend. What looked like large mandibles jutting through the cracks of the metal. These weren't any baby ants these...were big papa ants. The voice continued to echo from the cave. "You know I probably shouldn't be telling you this. On account, you're gonna die an all. But since I like you green haired lady, why not. Controlling people is hard. Bossman knew that. It also takes years to make an army. Making babies and rasien em. Ain't nobody got time for that. Also hella slow, not to mention expensive, buying girls things for dates, getting in the mood, all that jazz. Bugs though. One track minds. Breed like crazy. Make a full-scale army in months. But they're small. Squishable. How do you solve that?" The large metal doors were ripped from their hinges as staring down the squad was literally a full-scale huge auditorium filled to the brim with giant green ants. Behind them toppling trees from outside. There were likely several more on their way. This giving a brighter light to why this cave was located in densely wooded area. "You make em big."{reference} chitinous screeches from the oversized ants staring down at the small group of three until the last words to come out of the supposed 'architect' of the base they were in echoed. "Even if you kill my unit. We've got more waiting in the wings. We can make even more to make up for the ones you kill in just a week. Just like boss says we're gonna finish what we started and three dainty dames aren't going to stop us." The voice went silent and so would begin the attack of the ants. Through the mass of ants there were other paths that lead to other places visible on foot obviously. But this is where the cave ended everything inside was all metal past the double doors. In each post, rotation use your two offensive activations to perform your attacks or raise your defenses. Then...roll a dice! Follow this handy guide. Once each rotation is finished. Your kills will be totaled up and then the ants get their turn so try and thin them out as fast as you can! Also remember, Don't be stingy. The number of ants you kill is determined as such and boosted via a multiplier! Your body rank determines your Dice and the rank of the technique you use will determine your multiplier. I.e An A-rank body using an A-rank attack would result in a D10 x 3 amount of dead ants.

Yap yap yap, would he ever shut up? No? Of course not. The annoyingness of their enemy aside she had to think this through. Both of her allies seemed to rely on katon so using her suiton was probably not a good option. Besides the fact that her suiton would probably be ineffective against those creepy disgusting crawlies. So it was that she charged her rapier with chakra, though she meant to manifest it as simply chakra she messed up due to her strong feelings towards the bugs and accidentally summoned forth fire nature chakra into the blade. Though when she moved to attack the bug man was already long sans head and instead was revealed to be a creeping mess of more ants. This was of course followed by more chatter. Still she refused to rise to it and kept her mouth shut. Finally the time for real fighting came as the double doors were busted open by giant ants and a flurry of lesser ants skittered about. Yuno was quick to act this time. Shifting to her dueling stance she dashed forward toward the little insects and stabbed twice with rapier. The speed of which left only trails of light in its wake and anything caught in the area of the blade would suffer minor burns and some dehydration.
Following that attack up with another, she pierced the ground with her rapier and unleashed a swirling tsunami of fire chakra. It would spill out from her rapier in a diameter of 5 meters, enough to cook the front line of ants. Upon the cessation of flowing chakra her rapier would be spent and require a new charge of chakra. In addition she was quick to leap backwards away from the bugs after her attack.
Charged Star's Fury [ Rank C ] Much like Dual Strike, the user rushes forward, thrusting forward twice. However these thrusts are much faster thanks to charging the weapon with Chakra, and all that can be seen from these strikes are glowing spears of light; an aftershadow. Treated as two separate attacks when interacting with enemy defenses, with the second attack being a rank lower in strength but a rank higher in speed. Star's Exploding Anger [ Rank C ] The user charges up their Chakra, then quickly pierces the ground with their rapier. Upon impact with the ground, the rapier discharges its element in to the ground, creating a circular tsunami of Chakra. The effect area is 5 meters in diameter and the effects of this technique depend on what Chakra is used. Depletes any Chakra stored in the rapier, removing the effects of the charge from the user’s rapier for the remainder of the post. SHIONxxxxxMORI The man sure loved to talk, but it wasn't all empty information. In his long-winded blabbering, the ant-dude had let slip vital information on the make up of his team. Counting him, "the boss," and now these Honey and Black actors, it seemed they were facing a small team. From the sounds of it, one medic, one physical tank, one bug-ninjutsu user, and one mystery. All of this info was logged away in the cataloged of Shion's head for later use; right now she had bigger problems. With rate the ants were swarming into the room, taking them out with precision strikes wouldn't be enough. She'd have to swing wide and hope the kid and Kagerou could dodge any splash.
While Yuno dove right into the fight, Shion waited for a large mass of bugs to enter the room. She'd then signal Incango to follow her lead and dive headlong into the swarming mass of chitin. Immediately upon landing, be it on exposed ground of the back of an ant, Shion would slam her fist onto the ground and pump Bakuton energies throughout the surrounding area. After a brief delay, the rocky floor beneath her would erupt upwards in a roiling explosion that would uproot the very rock of the cave, threatening to crush anything in its wake. Then, she would aim her palms down the doorway the ants were spilling from and let loose a straight-shooting explosion to try and clear a path further into the cavern. Once the rock floor had resettled, Incango would land beside Shion, chanting and letting the same fiery ring radiate from her that she had performed earlier. Should any ants have survived the upturning of the ground, they'd be staved off from advancing on the pair.

There wasn't much room for Kagerou to talk. Maybe enough for a few lines when the ants came in, but you know what they said. Business before pleasure. Choosing actions over her words like the other girls, Kagerou took in a steady breath as she watched their movements.
At that moment when waves of green closed in, Kagerou had walked up to crouch besides Shion. She had stepped up while the green man talked about several quite interesting people. Honey, Black, Bossman. Three people she now knew about. Then she had crouched towards the end of the monologue to pick up and inspect the green ryo dropped.
She stood up without a single ripple passing through her demeanor or posture. As if merely enjoying the scenery, Kagerou smiled over to see how Yuno and Shion were doing. Both, fine, so then, what were they doing? Well, Kagerou couldn't say she was quite surprised at their choice.
From here, the best point to support the two would be... Kagerou calculated... or so I want to say, but there was no need for calculations. Ants were coming out of the woodwork outside of the caves as well as within. Someone needed to deal with them before they converged in a pincer attack. Equally obvious was that the other two advanced very quickly forwards, neither with any concern for the stability of their own positions. She wasn't even sure if Shion even cared where she landed with that jump of hers.
So it was pretty clear that Kagerou just needed to be in both place at once.
With her trademark bells back on her wrist, Kagerou movements literally rang out with energy as she slammed her hands into the ground. Out of the three, she started latest, not because she had taken the time to think and observe, but also, she needed to wait for Yuno to stop moving. When Yuno's latest nimble dodge would land her on the ground, she'd find earthern walls raise up on all sides of her in perfect time with her movements. Kagerou's Rock Army Shield. Not because she didn't trust Shion to keep her flaming body technique in check. Oh no. This was something Kagerou was going to do later.
From all fours, Kagerou leaped backwards onto her own two feet, her jump taking her halfway to the entrance of the cave. One more leap and she was standing at that entrance. Without even looking backwards at the awfully close sounds of clicking mandibles and creaking exoskeletons, Kagerou surged her chakra through her chakra aura. The twirling leave and waving branches came into view once again as Kagerou's handsigns swiftly drew them into a sealing pattern. Summong:Triple Rashōmon
While the seal activated to summon three rashomon behind her, each facing the forest outside the cave, the hands that were weaving hand signs just a little bit ago retrieved a battle fan from Kagerou's handy dandy pouch of ninja tools.
She held her latest technique in reserve for a moment.
The gates of rashomon creaked open to welcome the ants home.
When, amid the sound of ants crashing into each other as they were sucked into the seal, Kagerou could hear the wind howl past her with the suction force created by the gates, she stopped waiting.
The rashomon, bigger than the cave when all three of them were present, would hold the insects outside at bay, even if they couldn't absorb everything. The next objective Kagerou needed to fulfill was supporting those within the cave. She didn't have the speed to move up next to them and do something meaningful at their side, which meant she could only thin down the numbers of the enemy from the back.
For that reason, she waved and, in the same direction as the wind, unleashed an additional storm. The technique of the three calamities roared out from Kagerou's fan. The fire spread throughout the room was swept up into its momentum and given new life. Wherever the winds hit the ground, which was all throughout considering this was a cave, the revived flames exploded in a further shower of sparks. Shion had her cloak to protect her, while Yuno had Kagerou's rock wall.
Though, admittedly, this attack was more bark than bite. Kagerou's eyes scrunched a little as she saw that the technique didn't go as far as she would have liked. It was destructive, oh yes, but it only held its full force through the areas that had already been cleared out by Shion and Yuno. By it reached the deeper depths like Kagerou would have wanted, it had lost its spark. Ah... Looks like her lack of practice was catching up on her. If she was only better, than the technique would have reached, but alas, it looks like she wasn't good enough to pull out the full power of an S-rank with only theoretical learning.
Oh well. Let bygones be bygones. She could spin this her own way. Once the noise had died down, Kagerou would politely add to the conversation, "Apologies... These were quite the impressive specimens. I daresay I've only seen one other that impressed me more but... perhaps if you don't mind a suggestion, maybe you should have brought some cool-ant? It is a little lam-ant-able that they were all crem-ant-ed, but we don't have the luxury to pull any punches, either." Kagerou took a breath. A noticeable breath. The kind of breath that put a period and then skipped a line at the end of a sentence. "What I'm trying to say is..." she started again before pausing to build suspense (actually, to really think about whether she wanted to do this or not). Then she posed and emphatically declared, "Surrender now, or prepare to fight!" with a point into the depths of the cave.
After which, she looked at her new kitty friend and new kitty friend's human super expectantly.

The wall's creation is near instant, and it remains as long as the user's hands are on the ground. Can withstand an S-rank technique, but shield will break.
Kuchiyose • Sanjuu Rashōmon [Summoning • Triple Rashōmon] | Rank A Type: Spiritual (Defensive) Official Description: Kuchiyose • Sanjuu Rashōmon is a Ninjutsu summoning technique utilized by Orochimaru. One Rashōmon gate alone was said to be his ultimate defense, with this variation he can summon three of the gates in succession to help block a great incoming blast. Because the gate requires two summoning calls (a right and left), he will bite both his right and left thumbs to initiate the contract. The gates are not invincible however, being dented by the Soutourou of Kiba and Akamaru, and totally destroyed by Naruto into his four-tailed Kyuubi form. The latter gates do manage to deflect the majority of Naruto's blast though, which could have killed Orochimaru had it not be deflected. Guild Description: See official description. Requires minimum A-rank training in Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Summoning Technique ] and Kuchiyose • Rashōmon [Summoning • Rashōmon]. Draws forth three [3] monstrous gates of Rashoōumon, primarily for defensive usage. Each gate will block all attacks up to their B rank, no matter elemental or other aspects. Breaking through a gate reduces the incoming technique by one rank per gate until stopped or all are broken. Opening the doors will cause the same general vacuum effect of sealing objects, only at the size of the door, and is therefore a good way to quickly seal large amounts of matter for later usage up to the designated scroll’s capacity. This technique has a two [2] post cool down.
Sansai no Jutsu [ Technique of the Three Calamities of Fire, Flood and Storm ] | Rank S This technique requires a fan to perform. Wind is shot forth from the fan, forming a tornado capable of taking on effects from another elemental chakra nature or a naturally occurring instance of them. - Suiton: If the tornado hits a body of water a massive whirlpool-like tornado is sent towards the victim. When it hits the ground or target a large flood is sent forward capable of crushing or drowning those hit. - Katon: If the tornado hits a fire it picks up the flames and shoots forward towards the victim. If it hits the ground or target an explosion occurs, leaving a large fire in its wake. - Raiton: If the tornado absorbs electricity it turns gray, and lightning begins arcing across its surface. Once it impacts the ground or target the lightning discharges across a wide area. Can only be used once per battle.

Class Disciplines ____Support Specialist → The user is capable of conferring a moderate stat boost to any ally that they desire. This stat boost can be what ever the medic wishes, however it can only go on one ally for as long as the medic wishes. Additionally to this, the medic is able to use healing eseijutsu on an ally from a distance as opposed to having to touch them. The range for this is fifty [50] feet. ____Inscriptions of Power → Through tireless study and practice ninja of this discipline have learned to create fuuinjutsu that is stronger than those of their peers. Gaining the property of overwhelming all fuunjutsu will defeat techniques of the same rank unless they also overwhelm same rank, in which case they will cancel out. Universal Attributes
• Kiritani Heritage - The Kiritani, the maternal side of Kagerou's family, have a long tradition of serving Kirigakure from the shadows and high standards to match. Being able to cast techniques without hand signs is what they consider the bare minimum, and they expect no less from Kagerou despite her Uchiha surname. Kagerou can replace hand signs/seals with equivalent gestures and motion from the wrists or fingers of one hand. • Hippocratic Oath - Whatever it takes from her, Kagerou is determined to save every life she can, more so than taking any. When a healing eiseijutsu is used, a single healing or situational eiseijutsu of lower rank can be supplemented onto it for no extra cost in chakra or activation. This includes augment techniques. • Nightmare Veteran - There's really no place like home. Even genjutsu struggles to match hellish nightmare created from the mind of an exhausted Jack, and this experience, along with several others, has left the already naturally calm Kagerou even better suited to remain composed in the face of any pressure. She is adept at seeing through genjutsu, and even when she can't (or if the horror turns out to not be genjutsu at all), she's still incredibly difficult to ruffle to the point that once Kagerou recognizes the genjutsu, it loses much of its potency. A recognized genjutsu of lower rank than Kagerou cannot inflict real injuries on Kagerou, and while her physical body within the genjutsu is still affected as normal--being pushed, pulled, bound, or what have you--emotional and other strictly mental sensations have no hold on her. • Inkapocalypse - You thought this was a pun on Inka, but it was me! Dio! Bad jokes aside, the PA really isn't about Inka. Dissatisfied by her cluelessness during the Sero pod event, Kagerou spent days researching sealing, and through sheer repetition, it's become easier for her to use seals. She can write seals up to her body rank on the fly, using even her own chakra manifestation if necessary. Writing a seal takes up the same activation as using it, and in the case when her chakra manifestation is used to form a seal, her chakra becomes visible to the naked eye and she can only extend her manifestation as far as 1m away from her body. For the purposes of this PA, Fuuinjutsu includes the Kuchiyose techniques. Note that this does not mean she knows the details of the deception, such as how she is being deceived, what she is being deceived on, to what extent the deception goes, etc. This PA can be countered by either an opposing PA and a higher rank in the psychiatry medical field or by a technique above or at Kagerou's body rank that can obscure truth and lies. • A Sound Mind II - Due to her training in the psychiatry medical field, Kagerou is adept at deceiving others. She doesn't give those telltale signs, down to even the smallest detail, that others use as indicators of truth and lie. This PA can be countered by either an opposing PA and equal ranks in the psychiatry medical field or by a technique above or at Kagerou's body rank that can discern truth from lies.
