Pippin's head dropped in absolute horror as she tried to hide her face from the world. They weren't talking to her, they weren't talking to her. No one had to know they were talking to her. If her skin wasn't already bright red to begin with, they would be now. She urged her wobbly land legs to go faster, and if she had been in the water she would have been long gone.
One thing was certain, if she ever did meet a boy, she was not going to confide in her dad or grandma. Maybe she could confide in her grandpa, sometimes he could be the more reasonable one, even if he was a grump. On second thought.... She better not tell anyone.
Shortly after she arrived at the bar she noticed that her brother was also here, she sighed in disappointment. Her family was too large to actually get away from. She'd probably run into them no matter what activity she chose. Pippin decided she was only going to spend a little bit of time here at the bar since he was here. Her drink had already arrived, so she should at least finish that.
Pippin was surprised when she was approached by another, the compliment caught her off guard considering it was from a female land pae. "Oh... Uhm thank you." She responded, "I'm Pippin." Thinking that greeting with a compliment was a custom for land pae, Pippin added. "Your wings are so lovely and unique." They truly were, her brothers had wings, but these were completely different.

Monroe giggled as Gray backtracked, and shrugged her shoulders, "I'm sure there is someone there who can teach us?" She grinned as she walked alongside him. He could be so silly sometimes, like how he had told her that his name was Saber, when it was really Gray. That was what she liked about him though. Monroe was so glad that he had come back to the village, she had been so afraid that the whole boat situation would scare him off, and look how far they had come now.
Now that they were closer to the fields Monroe could see the pae playing volleyball. It looked like they were having a lot of fun, and just from watching it seemed fairly simple. Once they learned how to play here, maybe they could play it back home too. Sometimes it could be hard to find things to do in the village, at least things that didn't involve stealing boats. "Looks fun."

Tika had hugged and kissed the sand of her home, but now what could Tika do. This was her home, but she didn't have a home in her home. After all, Tika had been a much smaller Tika when she had accidentally ended up on the butt that took her to not-home. Such a bad butt. Tika now stood up, straightening out her mask and brushing the sand off her fur as best as she could. There was many, many tiki cats heading towards that big, big hut on Tika's home. Maybe that big, big hut was Tika's home home!
The tiki cat jumped up and down excitedly, that was it! That was it! She had figured it out, she was such a smart and wise Tika. Tika began to follow the first tiki cat who walked past her towards the big, big hut. He had a bow tie on. It did not look good on him. Bow ties clash with masks. What a strange tiki cat he was.

Bouncing impatiently on tiny paws, the bright furred feline immediately leapt as the gangplank was dropped, almost before it managed to settle into a stable position. He was home!
He was so eager to get to the land, he didn't think about where to go after that. He hesitated at the dock, peering one direction, then another. Hmm...this looked...different. Of course, he'd been a bit smaller back then...
Iokepa had been reluctant to leave his new home as well. Originally, he'd left his first home in a hurry, following one of the thunder god's chosen. And good thing too! Clearly, she would have had no idea what to do with the mini thunder gods that arrived later without him! The problem was that he'd left so quickly to follow her, he'd left all his great stuff at home! Sadness!
When he'd heard that there was another big boat going back, he'd made sure to lecture the big bird on how to take care of the god's mini gods while he was gone. All the loud screeching meant she understood, right? Hopefully nothing too bad could happen while he was gone.
Right?
He'd be back soon enough anyway, and with all his great stuff from his first home! Would make the new home even better!
He'd been standing around for some time when another of his kind made a beeline from the boat into the warm sands, rolling about and kissing the gritty beach. Hmm, he didn't know about the kissing part, but he might have to have a nice roll in the warm sands before he left. Looked nice.
Iokepa had noticed others walking around the big tall Pae, taking bags, and walking off. What were they doing? Guess they still lived here. Didn't answer what they were doing, but clearly they hadn't come on the big boat. Hmm, they wouldn't be much help; he need to find and get his stuff and get back to the boat. As long as no hairy monkey butt meanies had found it first! Oooo, he'd be mad then!
He noticed that the rolling tiki had started jumping up and down and then taken off towards the big big hut in the distance. Was that where he should go? She sure seemed excited about going there. Even if it wasn't back towards the village, maybe he should check it out anyway. There might be food. Or shiny things. Or food!
Chattering out a greeting in their native tongue, the glow-eyed masked tiki scrambled after one of his kin who at least looked like she still knew how to have fun.

He hadn't originally intended to go on this trip himself. Amitola had only snuck on-board the vessel to make sure that his father and mother were still going. Not that he was sure what he would have done if his father had tried to back out at the last minute, but it had made him feel better to make sure. It had taken a lot of work to convince both of them to go...mostly his father. Hopefully this trip would be good for both of them though. It was clear that his mother cared for his father, but...he'd never understood why the Fae had always kept so distant. It wasn't that he turned Amitola or the rest of his family away if they sought the Fae out, it was just...it always felt like there was a part of Cabel that he held back, something that just slightly dimmed their interactions. Not that he ever shared anything explicitly with his children.
Anyway, Amitola had fully planned to make sure his father was on-board, then leave before the ship sailed. He had, really, that was the plan. Then he'd seen her. He'd seen her in passing back in Alu's Spring, but he'd never really managed to talk to her. Not like...actual conversation anyway. Maybe an awkward 'hi' or a sheepish grin in passing; that's about all he'd managed.
He'd just about come to the conclusion that he and his brother were the only Pae in existence that looked like they did. Then, she'd arrived. Finally, someone else! They weren't the only ones with fancy tails and wispy, transparent, dorsal fin wings. He'd always felt so self-conscious, as if people were staring at him, judging him for being different due to his parentage. But, if there were others like them...
When he saw her here, on the ship, he'd completely forgotten about the whole 'going home' plan. This was his chance. If he couldn't go up and speak to her here as one of her kind, out among all these other strange Pae, then he never would.
It had still taken him most of the trip to get up the courage to approach her with anything resembling composure. The other Pae were disembarking, heading out to explore the island resort, when Amitola took a deep breath to steady his nerves and fluttered over towards the rainbow-scaled young woman. He hovered beside her, looking out at the island as if enjoying the view, then turned to smile at her. "Looks pretty from here, doesn't it? You thinking about heading out to explore a bit?"
Oh, how had he just said that, so calmly and easily? He felt like his heart was going to hammer out of his chest. He tried to appear nonchalant while waiting for her response, not as if his entire plan for this trip were balanced on it or anything. Nope.
Hopefully she wasn't about to tell him to buzz off.

Iokepa nodded slightly, whether he was agreeing or just trying to keep watching the bouncy tiki was unclear. "Big, big hut home?" So this was the right way! "Yes! Big, big hut home! Have shinies and nummies?" he questioned, voicing his earlier thoughts to the other tiki. Of course, he still needed to go find his own shiny stuffs, but if he could find more first before collecting his own...
Besides, food nummies. Very important.
He peered around her, watching the weird other tikis and their bow ties wandering off with the big tall Paes. He still wasn't sure what it was they were doing, it looked boring. But, if they knew where the nummies and shinies were...
"Let's go big, hut home!" he agreed and bound off in the direction of the big, big hut before turning to wave at Tika, then continued running.

This was just one more reason she adored her champion, Tristen had amazing ideas. Wrapping her arms around him, heedless of the swarm of pae around them, Harmonia responded, "Brilliant ideas. I think a trip to the spa for couples papering first would be lovely." A great message was just the kick off to the island adventures off the boat. Besides, there is a chance one of her sisters could be there.
Venus be praised!
Lief earned himself a small kiss, just a tiny reward for good behavior. "Good boy." With the words followed a short but gentle hand through his hair by an ear, she picked out a good one for the trip. "Alright, let us take a walk first, see the island and what it has to offer." Making the effort to look counts, right?

The fauny tilted her head, watching the handsome pae interact with that weirdly muscled cherub. What in the world was going on over there? Who let the cherubs have steroids?! "My Love, that sounds amazing~" She smiled sweetly, completely ignoring this very odd cherub. Celestia only knew how little the beefcake cherub interested her. Only had eyes for the glorious water winged pae in front of her. His lean build, subtly hiding a very strong frame, and extremely tall.
She waited until the cherub had bowed and taken his leave to get their drinks before laughing. "How strange is that cherub? I thought they were supposed to be squishy!" At this moment in time, she was sincerely hoping the cherub wasn't also super speedy. Oh Guardians, what if he heard her laughing about him? "I bet he just squeezes the fruit by hand. No need for a blender." Sweetie was still snickering.
Wolfs Heart Only has eyes for one man~
"You'd be the most beautiful girl." Nicky grinned, "You'd get away with everything! Ultimate prank master. Venus! You're great at this already, I couldn't imagine how epic you'd be with pouty lips and long lashes." She returned. Her mental image of Baliel, probably the most accurate image of anyone she knew, believed this pae to be extremely hot and super innocent. No way he looked like he'd be constantly trying to prank anyone!
As soon as his hand left hers, Nicky knew what was going on. He was setting up the spider. That was her cue to look as innocent as possible, or to wait and cause a scene if something went down with Baliel. The nymph jumped a little when he came back, having spaced out for a few minutes. "Mmm, only if the couple's massage is open? Nicky suggested, not wanting to leave his side at all.
Junior blinked, not entirely sure how to describe a margarita. How had he even come to know about it? "Hmm. A margarita is.. Green with salt around the rim of the glass." Junior offered, knowing full well it was a terrible description. The yellow pae grinned a little, kissing Nereus' cheek. Goddess she was perfect.
"I think we can arrange that." Junior squeezed her hand, bright blue eyes on her. That was how he managed to run into a very muscled cherub. Literally.
"Whoa, sorry! Are you okay?" Junior croaked, rubbing the back of his head with his free hand. Little ball of muscles was a lot to get hit in the back of the head with.
Philippe puffed his chest. He was perfectly fine, and he'd be even better if these guests paid attention to where they were walking! "Yes Sir, would you like something to drink?" He offered, hiding his indignation behind a suave and manly voice.
"Oh! Um. Nereus, Love, would you like to try a margarita?" He asked, not at all certain his horrible description of the drink sounded appetizing in the least.
