The way that Silvano reacted made realize that it was a bug pokemon that had landed on her. Suddenly she didn't shiver as bad since she knew it was a pokemon and she didn't have any real fear of bug types. They were cute to be honest. "We're on a new floor... huh... Wait... back to normal?" Iris tilted her head. "Did something happen to me? All I remember is hearing some kind of music. In fact since I've been in here, everytime I hear music I end up somewhere I don't remember being or asleep. Isn't that weird?"
Iris was in the middle of asking questions when she heard growling and then barking. A dog like pokemon was staring them down. Immediately she took out her gear to get a read on the pokemon. "This is houndour... A dark and fire type pokemon." Iris looked from her device to the pokemon as it continued to bark at her. "Good thing I have Ling with me. Ling use Water Pulse. Time to show magic power"
X⇒ LOCATION : Spooky Mansion XXXXXXXXXX⇒ WITH : Iris Silvano nodded when Iris repeated his words, confirming her new location. "That's right. I figured we might have better luck on another floor." He explained before realizing that Iris hadn't been aware that she was in a trance. "Yeah... you just went silent on me and were spacing out. It was as if you were under a spell. But at least you were still able to keep up with me." He found it interesting that she said she had heard the strange music and then couldn't remember anything else before finding herself in a new location. "That is weird -- actually its sounds frightening more than anything else." Silvano agreed, musing that he wouldn't have liked being in her position.
Just as Silvano suspected, the boy grimaced as yet another Joltik came down from the ceiling. "This place really is infested." He groaned, disliking the idea of so many bug pokemon popping up. It was disgusting. Feeling the goosebumps forming over his skin, Silvano thought about grabbing Iris by the arm and dragging off to a new location, though, before he could, he heard a growl followed by some barking. Shifting his gaze, Silvano looked to the pokemon Iris had scanned with her PokeGEAR. "Good idea." He told her, soon doing the same. Since there were also spider pokemon still hanging about, Silvano decided to scan them as well. He quickly glanced over both entries, not really reading anything as he listened to Iris. Apparently this dog-like pokemon was a Fire and Dark type, something Iris' water type would have no problems dealing with.
"Thank goodness we have Ling with us." He commented as he watched the ducklett begin to square off against the Houndour. It seemed the dark-type wasn't about to let them go without a fight. Thinking more on it, would Ling be able to scar off the Houndour on her own? Silvano wasn't sure, even though he knew she was the same pokemon that won the Lamia District Pokemon tournament. Maybe even a tournament winning pokemon could use some help every now and then. Reaching into his shoulder bag, Silvano removed the occupied Greatball he had brought with him. He hesitated a moment, unsure if he really wanted to go through with what he was about to do.
Clicking the button on the greatball, Silvano let it enlarge and pop open in his hand, allowing his newest pokemon to take shape right in front of him. "Whatever you are, use Scratch on the enemy." He instructed his Dark-type pokemon, pointing a finger at the Houndour Ling had just struck with her water attack. "And make sure you don't miss." With that, Silvano's Sneasel let out a loud yell before charging at the Houndour, her claws raised. Swinging them down at the target, she raked them through the Houndour's shoulder, causing it to let out high pitched whine. Though, before Silvano's pokemon could strike at its opponent again, the Houndour opened its maw and clamped down hard on the Sneasel's left arm. In turn, the Sneasel hissed menacingly at the hound while she fought to pull her arm from its grasp, kicking her legs at it. Silvano grimaced as he watched his pokemon struggle. He had no idea what his pokemon was capable of. All he knew was that it was vicious and had tried to kill him at one point. "That's enough -- Use scratch again!" Silvano commanded, hoping that pain would make the Houndour let go. Sure enough, when his Sneasel raked its claw intentionally across the other pokemon's nose, the Houndour let go immediately as it let out another sequel. Unfortunately, that still wasn't enough to scar the wild pokemon away. Now, even more angry, the inside of the Houndour's mouth began to glow as it prepared to fire off a deadly Ember attack. "Don't just stand there, block whatever its going to do." Silvano called to his pokemon, quickly realising that the Houndour was about to attack again. Sneasel was well aware of this too, so when the Houndour had shot a hot ember towards her, she had instinctively raised her claws in front of her face, allowing the attack to collide into them instead of her body directly. When the ember hit, it exploded against her claws, showering bits of glowing ash all around the Sneasel's feet. She let a soft whine as she felt the heat and force of it catch up her. Being an Ice-Type, it was an attack she could just barely endure. Lowering her claws and hunching over, she fought to remain standing upright as she tried to rest for a moment.
Observing his pokemon's behaviour, Silvano wasn't sure why it was all of a sudden exhibiting signs if weakness. It didn't make any sense to him. Why would one attack exhaust his pokemon already? Feeling irritation setting in, Silvano quickly decided on his next order. "Use scratch one more time. This time aim for its nose again and use all your might." Silvano order his pokemon, sounding even more stern than before. With that, his pokemon took one last deep breath before deciding to comply. Raising her right claw, she charged at the Houndour as though her life depended on it and took a powerful swing at it. The hit glanced right off its nose, eliciting one last high-pitched wail from the Houndour before it turned tail and bolted back down the hallway from where it came. With that, Sneasel sank to her knees to rest again, while still keeping an eye on the fleeing pokemon. "Great, its gone." Silvano commented before recalling his Sneasel back into its pokeball. He then turned back to Iris and grinned slightly. "Let's get going before it decides to come back."

X⇒ LOCATION :Spooky Mansion XXXXXXXXXX⇒ WITH : Snivy and Phantump Reading his Snivy's body language, Ichiro could tell his partner wasn't exactly willing to fight the Phantump. He really couldn't blame the little guy. After having lost to Eve's Yamask Pokemon, Ichiro half wondered if Tsutarja was gonna be hesitant to fight again, let alone challenge another ghost. Regardless, he knew he needed to push the pokemon to work past his insecurities.
"Alright, Tsutarja! Let's start off by using Glare." The blond commanded his pokemon, thinking in his head it sounded like a good move. Despite Glare being a Normal type attack, it surprisingly enough worked on ghosts, as Ichiro had discovered during his last battle. Had he of known Ghost Type pokemon were immune to Normal type attacks, he may have never have tired. But now, he was thankful he was learning. Slowly. "Snivy!" His pokemon called back to him with a nod, denoting that he understood his instructions. Taking a few steps towards the Phantump, who still had a sour look on its face, Snivy narrowed his large eyes as they locked onto the pokemon before flashing a different color. The Ghost pokemon then seemed to tremble a little before slowing its movement down. It seemed as though he was affected by it, much like how Yamask was. Though, there was no telling if it'd truly slow down the pokemon or not. Ichiro recalled with deep regret how it didn't seem to affect Yamask much.
"Now, give him your best Leer." Ichiro then called out, unwilling to give the Ghost a chance to retaliate. However, just when Tsutarja began to give the Ghost pokemon another one of his famous dirty looks, the Pokemon suddenly charged towards him, letting out the most jarring screech Ichiro had ever heard. "Agh..." Ichiro groaned as he raised his hands up to protect his ears. He had seen this same attack before. It was called Astonish, and it was the same one his Snivy had been mercilessly pelted with in the past. He could only hope that his Snivy wouldn't have nightmares from enduring it again.
Ichiro looked on helplessly as he watched his Snivy trembled, frozen with fear as the Ghost pokemon slammed into him with force. "Tsutarja!" The blond cried out, taking his hands down from his head as his eyes widened at the sight. The little grass snake was sent tumbling backwards as the ghost swooped back up into the air, giggling at its accomplishment. Meanwhile, the Snivy had curled himself up into a ball as he laid there shaking upon the ground. "Tsutarja, don't let him get to you! You have to show him that you're not afraid." Ichiro called out to his Pokemon, trying to encourage him to continue the battle. "You can do this!" Reluctantly, his Snivy perked up his head a little to look back at Ichiro sheepishly. He seemed surprised Ichiro was rooting for him. "That's it! Show him you won't give up!" Ichiro continued to cheer, feeling more at ease as his Snivy began to show signs of his courage returning.
Meanwhile, the Phantump had grown silent, watching his curled up target curiously. Though, feeling bored, he readied himself to attack again. Opening its tiny mouth, it began to let out another loud wail, but then just as soon stopped. Upon hearing the wailing start, Ichiro had shifted his attention to the Phantump, only the relize the pokemon looked as though it was now struggling to move. Slowly, it dawned on Ichiro that the pokemon was paralyzed. "Tsutarja, now's you chance! Get up and use Vine Whip, quickly." The Salamence student instructed, hoping for the best. Feeling more of his confidence restored, the Snivy pushed himself up off the ground, bracing himself on his tiny legs as he allowed threw a vine towards the trapped Ghost, striking it dead on. "That's the way to do it!" Ichiro cheered as the Phantump was knocked to the ground. This time, it was beginning to seem as though they stood a chance.
Pushing itself off the ground, and flying back up into the air, the little Phantump prepared itself. Holding out its little hands, the Ghost Pokemon willed a little Green orb of light to appear between them. As the ball of light grew a little larger, the pokemon seemed to be absorbing the energy from it. Watching this, Ichiro only wondered what the pokemon was doing.

X⇒ LOCATION :Spooky Mansion XXXXXXXXXX⇒ WITH : Snivy and Phantump Reading his Snivy's body language, Ichiro could tell his partner wasn't exactly Watching the little ghost summon some kind of magical orb in front of it, Ichiro felt pressed to quickly issue his Snivy another command. There was no telling what the orb was about, so it was best to catch the Phantump off guard before they would regret it.
"Tsutarja, try using Vine Whip on him again!" Ichiro instructed. Vine Whip was basically the only real attack he knew his Snivy could use in this situation. As he had found out before, Tackle didn't work on Ghosts, so Vine Whip was the only option. He was pretty his Snivy also understood this. Why would he want to go sailing through another ghost again? "Sni!!" The grass type called out as he summoned another long green vine, reeling it back only to slam it again his target. Upon seeing the incoming Vine, the Phantump had let go of his little green orb in an attempt to escape, but was too slow to get out of the way in time. Once again, he was sent barreling down to the ground, not really connecting with it though. Being a floating ghost, it really didn't seem capable of colliding into the floor or any solid object for that matter. It was something of an advantage for it. "Try it again!" Ichiro then called out, hoping the attack would hit once again. Without hesitation, his Snivy didn't retract the Vine this time and instead took another swing at the Phantump, once again striking it hard. Admittedly, it was little hard to watch. The Ghost Type was basically a little lost child spirit and was cute as could be. It really deserve to be beat up on in Ichiro's opinion, though, this was the way of being a pokemon trainer. Sometimes you really had no choice but to battle. Such was the way of life.
Picking itself off the floor and floating up high this time, the Phantump then began to form another multiple little golden orbs around its body, letting them circle around him. Then without warning, it fired all of them off at Snivy. "Tsutarja! Look out!" Ichiro cried, watching his pokemon attempt to jump out of the way only to have the little gold orbs enter his body. "What was that?" The boy questioned as his Snivy began to sway where he stood, unable to keep his body complete still and upright. He looked like he was inebriated or something? "Tsutarja, you okay?" Ichiro asked, watching as his pokemon tried to turn to look back at him, only to trip over his feet and on his belly. The little guy's eyes also appeared to be swirling around in his head. "He looks like he's been confused..." Ichiro then commented to himself, realizing that Phantump's attack had been successful. "This could be bad..." The blond then mused, feeling a slight bit of worry start to set in. His pokemon would have a hard time defending himself and attacking if he could barely stand up straight.
The Phantump looked on with glee in its eyes, content with its accomplishment. Though, it was in no way going to give the grass pokemon a chance. Opening its little mouth, it began to wail again before once again charging straight for Snivy who was still lying on the ground, pretty much helpless. Ichiro couldn't help but cover his eyes as he heard the attack make impact, causing the grass snake emit another cry in pain. Taking his hands from his face, Ichiro looked on as he watched his pokemon struggle to get up as the Phantump floated back towards the center of the room. "Tsutarja! Try to snap out of it. You have to fight back!" He then called back to his pokemon, hopefully he'd snap out of his confusion sooner than later. However, his Snivy still seemed like he was struggling to stay on his feet. "Try using Vine Whip again!" Crossing his finger, Ichiro hoped Snivy would be able to attack.
With some luck, Tsutarja gave his little head a shake, finally finding his balance somehow. He then leaped up into the air, summoning another Vine for which he used to strike at the Phantump again. With the first swing, the Phantump was able to duck out of the way, but on the return he was hit from behind and tumbled back down to the floor. "Way to go!" Ichiro cheered, glad to see his pokemon back in action. "Snivy!" He got a cheerful reply back. "Think you do it again." Ichiro then asked, before watching his pokemon return a loyal nod. "Snivy." With another swing of his Whip, he once again allowed it to connect with the Phantump, who had failed to get out of the way again. By the looks of it, the Phantump was beginning to run out of steam. Reading itself to retaliate with another astonish, the Ghost suddenly went still again as its paralysis returned. That was one thing Ichiro was thankful for. The Phantump still had a status condition while his Snivy no longer did.

X⇒ LOCATION :Spooky Mansion XXXXXXXXXX⇒ WITH : Snivy and Phantump From the looks of it, the Phantump was now just hovering itches from the ground as it no longer had the energy to float around the room. Ichiro took this as a good sign. It must have meant the pokemon was pretty weak, maybe even weak enough to catch. Though, with just one last Pokeball left in his possession, Ichiro didn't much want to take the risk of losing it. So many one more attack would work.
"Alright, Tsutarja, we've got 'em on the ropes. Let's try one last Vine whip to be sure." Ichiro quickly instructed his partner. "Sni, Snivy!" His pokemon agreed, allowing another Vine to emerge from behind his shoulder. The blond watched in silence as his snivy reeled it back before whipping it against the Phantump, connecting dead on. The little Ghost pokemon closed its eyes, unable to move as its debilitating paralysis was under effect. It let out a little cry of its own when the move connected. "That should be enough." Ichiro told his pokemon as he watched the Phantump attempt to float away from them. "Now this is it." Digging into his bag, Ichiro quickly found his last remaining pokeball and took aim at the Phantump. With one good toss, he looked on in amazement as the ball snapped open, allowing a beam of red light to snatch up the pokemon inside it before closing shut. As the ball began to wiggle upon the ground, Ichiro held his breath, unsure if the Pokemon would remain inside. "C'mon... please work." He chanted hesitantly. Finally, with an audible click, the ball had stopped moving.
"Alright! We did it!" Ichiro exclaimed before leaping off the ground in excitement. "I can't believe it! We caught a Phantump!" Looking back to his Snivy, the little guy just seemed relieved that the fight was over. "Just wait until I tell Phoebe about this!" Ichiro then told the pokemon as he walked over to the Phantump's Pokeball, scooping it off the ground. "I think I'm going to call you... Bokurei -- since you seem like a tree and a spirit." He told the pokemon trapped within the ball before tucking it into his bag and looking back at Tsutarja. "Now you and Nazo will have a new friend to play with." Heading over to his Snivy, Ichiro carefully lifted him off the ground. "Speaking of Phoebe, we should probably go find her." Thinking on it, he wasn't sure if she was still in the mansion or not. For all he knew, she could have gone to the place where the party and dance were going to be held. Maybe it was best to meet her there? Ichiro wasn't sure, but it seemed like a good idea to him. "How about we get out of this spooky place? Hopefully I can remember the way I came in here." He then mused, looking down at his pokemon to see what he thought. Jugging by the uplifted look in his Snivy's eyes, he could tell Tsutarja was fine with the idea of leaving.
With his free hand, Ichiro once again dug into his shoulder bag, this time pulling out his PokeGEAR. He figured it was a good idea to give his friend a heads up, just in case she wasn't at the party.

Hitting the send button, Ichrio placed his PokeGEAR back into his bag before wrapping free arm around his other that was still holding his pokemon in front of him. He wasted no time heading out of the spooky Pantry he had just battled in and was already on his way back down the hall. This time, he made no effort to go anywhere else but retrace the path he had already walked. Fortunately he was never really too far from the front foyer. Upon seeing the doors leading out of the place, Ichiro made a B-line for them, happy to finally be done with all the scares. He didn't know how many students were still exploring the place, but he wished them all the best of luck. Heading back down the stone steps, Ichiro turned to look back at the mansion one last time before continuing off on his way.

C furiously puffed his chest pointing behind him as Tera had asked him just where his trainer was. The Pokemon felt quite insulted; how dare this child insinuate that he would abandon his trainer. He was a loyal one! What's more that he did not receive a simple 'thank you'? How rude of her! While the Chingling was too proccupied with his chirping rant that was falling on an individual who most like did not understand what he was saying, his trainer was gaining ground.
Jung-Su was slowly yet surely catching up to the zippy lass that was Tera. Considering the gap he had to bridge the lad still had a ways to go in the stamina department or perhaps Tera was simply too energetic? Regardless, now was not the time to ponder and speculate about something as trivial as his own stamina. The lad had somehow caught up, out of breath once again, to both C and Tera. Seeing the finish line the lad hurried quicken his pace leading him to trip, roll near the dark-haired lad hitting the wall along the way. Caught by surprise the Flygon member gasped for breath as he laid on the ground, tired. "S-Sorry" The lad barely managed to apologize for his sudden appearance to the other lad. The little energy he had left he used to raise his head. In that moment the lad had realized that the two before him had gotten themselves into an altercation with yet another unsavory Houndour. Yet another one alone. Perhaps this mansion was the Houndour pack's home? Notes to be taken later as there were more pressing matters to attend to. The lass didn't have her Pokemon with her and she was being attacked. "C!" Just that one syllable sent the lad into a coughing frenzy, yet he continued to speak. "Wr-Wrap!" The earlier call alerted the Chingling to act. The red and white colored strings on his back extended as they wrapped around the midair Houndour, tightening his grip the more the wild beast struggled. An attempt to wave at them came to a halted movement. He thought that it was a lack of energy but in reality he was caught up in webs. How soon until he could figure this out?

Iris cheered on Ling and Silvano newest Pokemon as they fought and scared off the houndour. She even did a magic girl pose with Ling. "Haruno power!" She chirped as she looked at Silvano. "Uh yea...Haruno and Silvano power. Right Antonio." Iris then covered her mouth in a gasp. "Can I call you that. I know you're really particular about the use of your first name. That's why only Maria only gets to call you Tony."
Again she gasp and covered her mouth. "Sorry" she looked at him apologetically. As she was looking at him, her eyes started to stare off to the side and down the corridor where they were. Red eyes were looking at her from the distance and getting closer. Somethibg glisten in the dark.
Before Iris could open her mouth, the music started to play again in her ears. Her eyes began glassy. Even as she blinked she was detached from the world. She continued to look forward and then walked past Silvano toward the darkness....

Ray made sure that his sleeve hid his very minor injury. His sleeve did stain the white cloth a tad bit red, but it wasn't extremely noticeable so he didn't really care much. He looked over at Marcus, listened as Marcus stated that he was good at things, but Ray found that very hard to believe, after all so far he's done nothing but bring trouble to other people. His shoulders slumped a bit more at the thought. It was then that Marcus went onto state what his outfit was, and that he didn't know they needed a costume. Again guilt ate away at Ray. If he hadn't called him over her to save his sorry behind then maybe Marcus wouldn't have to feel as if he came prepared. He would make a note of this, he needed to be stronger. He didn't need to cry, and sure it was hard to not cry. However, Ray needed to grow up right? His sister had, so he needed to make sure he could take care of himself and not bother people because he was worthless. He chewed the inside of his cheek, scratching a bit at the bit he had received earlier.
Ray made a mental note of Marcus's favorite pokemon, before Ray froze. He tilted his head at the question of him being in the contest. He looked at the ground "um... yeah, I thought... since Rina made this outfit she should... um... well... she should get some recognition for her skills you know? Normally...er... I wouldn't participate" he murmured. It was true, usually Ray wouldn't actually enter such things. However, this time he did for Rina since she wanted him to be outgoing for one night. She'd make that wish true just for tonight, just for her. It was all he could do to make it up to her for being such a worthless piece of baggage. He jumped a bit, looking over as Marcus told him to look at this pokemon that appeared. It was apparently a Pumpkaboo. Huh, Ray's never seen one of those before.
Ray took a small step forwards, trying to get a better look when he heard a loud snarl. He froze, eyes wide as he looked over and noticed piercing red eyes glaring at him. He jumped, as it jumped at him and caused him to fall over. The thing that jumped at him was actually a Houndour, and for some reason it seemed really mad at Ray. Ray managed to get it off him, as he weakly got up. He looked over at Marcus and then at the fire-type. He couldn't get Marcus involved, this was his problem. He bit his lip, "I... I'll distract it... I'm sorry! I'll be fine, I... I promise... don't follow me!" he shouted, before breaking into a run. He couldn't let Marcus get involved, this pokemon was seriously pissed off at him for whatever reason. It was a good thing that Ray had good stamina, and although he was a tad bit slow he noticed that he could at least stay a bit ahead of the pokemon running after him.
Rey swooped quickly to his side, panicking "I... I... know... just... just keep close ok? We can... lose him... hopefully!" he said, in between breaths. His lungs stung, and his legs ached. He hadn't done much in the last few weeks, and his body was screaming at him to stop doing whatever it was that he was doing. Ray turned one corner, another, and another, before Ray realized he had no idea where he was going. He bumped into broken furniture here and there, small bruises blotching his pale skin. He had been running for a while now, and his lungs where burning and his legs crying out to stop moving. It was to the point that Ray's legs eventually gave out, and he slammed into the floor with a loud thud. He groaned, gasping for air. He lost the pokemon chasing him right?!
He looked up frantically, before dread filled his heart. It was still there, its eyes never leaving him "oh no... oh Arceus" he said, sweating. Ray raised his arms up as the Houndour attacked him, its sharp teeth digging into his arm. He cried out, tears stinging his eyes. It hurt, but again it wasn't like he hated this pain. He was normal because of this pain, but at the same time he sort of wanted to keep his arm in tact "Rey... little help?!" he cried out struggling. Rey flew up high, before swooping in quickly and pecking at the fire-types muzzle. The Houndour whined, releasing Rays arm. Ray backed up, putting pressure on the now bleeding bit wound in his arm. Ray was shaking now, and he was alone. Could he really deal with this alone? He gulped, he had to, he had no one but himself now. Rey was flying up and swooping in over and over again "That's it... use fury swipes!" Ray called, still huddled in the corner of the hallway.

Had...had this place gotten scarier since Kirsi last came? Somehow she was filled with even more hesitance than when she came by herself. Probably because she knew there were actual ghosts in there. It was easier to be brave with Koru and Maria here though. Chance trotted ahead of Kirsi up the stairs, actually a little excited to get to look around again. This place smelled really different from normal places!
Kirsi shuffled inside after Koru. It was as she remembered it, with this same sort of haunting feel in the air. It felt like she was being watched. "Just as long as no g-ghosts come out," Kirsi mumbled in response to Koru. She hugged her fluffy collar tight, glad she had picked a costume that made her feel warm and safe. Actually, it made her a little too warm. Since she was used to the cold, wearing such a heavy coat in more temperate weather was actually a bit much.
Kirsi heard a rustle above right before a bat swooped down at Koru. She jumped a little, but ended up giggling instead of yelping. It helped that she'd seen a zubat earlier so her mind told her it wasn't anything really scary. "Koru, Koru, you okay?" Kirsi felt bad for not catching Koru when she fell. Hopefully her costume was fine. When Cyndaquil let out a smokescreen both Kirsi and Chance backed away, the latter sneezing from the smoke in his puppy nose. "We should open a win....dow..." Kirsi trailed off, staring right at a pair of glowing yellow eyes sunken deep in the murky depths of a pumpkin. It sat in the corner of another room, visible from just the right angle. It didn't move, just...stared.
"H-hey, let's see what's further in," she said. She wondered if maybe there was some kind of prize hidden deep in the house for students to find. It was getting harder to imagine there was a pokemon here she would want to catch, but just thinking about some pokemon that might like to come with her that was stuck in this house with a bunch of scary ghosts....well, maybe Kirsi could be brave. Just in case.

Marcus wasn't sure what had happened. Rather than answer him, Ray had become even more withdrawn into himself. Before he could ask him what was wrong they both heard a growling noise and Marcus' eyes widened when he realised it was a houndoor-and not a friendly one either. "Ray wait don't-!" Marcus started off but apparently Ray wasn't one for listening and had taken off and apologized for whatever reason "Don't run!" Marcus shouted taking off after his friend. "Running only makes them come after you" Ray was beyond hearing him however. Marcus tried to keep him in sight but the boy was a lot faster than Marcus might have given him credit for. As he ran after Ray, he tripped over something rolling down to the floor and tangling himself up in even more...web? Not a web...but there was some silk on the floor. Marcus looked up slowly and found himself face to face with a pair of beady black eyes. "Spinarak, the string pokemon" he muttered thinking that it was aptly named. The spinarak regarded the boy curiously before climbing up on his head. "I don't have time for this" Marcus muttered before taking off Spider pokemon and all. He had to find Ray. He wandered around before hearing another voice yell out in the distance. "Tera?" The girl seemed to be caught up with another houndoor ( was there a pack here? Why would the school put them around violent pokemon? Wasn't that a liability? It was certainly dumb) Marcus bit the inside of his cheek. He had to find Ray, but Ray had a pokemon...Tera didn't seem to have one. "Squeeze use wrap" he said, as the ekans slithered off his arm. The snake pokemon gave out a warning hiss, stading between the girl and the dog before wrapping herself around the oncoming canine. Marcus for his part went to Tera. "You alright?" he asked offering her a hand "have you seen Ray?-wait where's Flare?"

How could the girl not know? Well the child didn’t feel that she was in danger in the beginning. Alana had Skylar and the Pokemon around her even at this minute. Was she supposed to be on the lookout for anything that could potentially hurt her. In all honesty the thought didn’t even cross her mind. Small, medium, big or whatever types of sizes were out there for Pokemon, Misa hadn’t paid much attention that Pokemon would be vicious creatures. Just like with any living creature there were always going to be misunderstandings. If the Zorua attacked then it wasn’t because it hated her, wanted to attack the girl because it was some sort of vicious creature; the answer was that it was merely confused. So, listening to Skylar she could see where her partner was coming from and to be honest her concern was touching. Perhaps the President had experienced a time and or place where the Pokemon around could have been less tamed or seen an experience where a Pokemon attacked another person. However, Misa grew up with Pokemon and spent most of her days in the Daycare Center. Being around Pokemon, of all ages and forms, she understood that there were a variety of Pokemon as there were a variety of people. ”I’m sorry for worrying you Skylar. Next time, I promise I won’t be so careless.” What she wouldn’t say was how she wouldn’t do something that would make Skylar feel like she was going to lose someone. Alana didn’t know the story but all she needed to know was one of Skylar’s worse fear.
”Did you hear that Ponyta?” Alana softly called out to her fiery companion. It now stood next to her and nuzzled her side. ”No, it wasn’t anything about food. But would you mind staying by my side? I want to make sure that we journey through the mansion in one piece. I think all of us have been hurt more than enough through our stay here.” She smiled warmly towards Ponyta while scratching the back of its ear. A cute little whine was a response to both the child’s words and her actions. ”I’ll make sure that Ponyta stays by my side so that something like this won’t happen.” As Skylar commented about Alana documenting Pokemon moves, after she had finished documenting the happenings with Zorua, it warmed her heart even more. ”Being a Breeder has been a dream of mine. I want to know all sorts of Pokemon, what they like, what they do, what kind of moves they do, how to breed them….there is just a lot of information about Pokemont that I don’t know.” The child blushed as she talked about her dreams with Skylar. It was a first for her and she was very much passionate about the career. Though that didn’t mean she didn’t keep her mind open about other possibilities. ”I want to know the things a lot of people don’t know about Pokemon. Even if I don’t become a Breeder I want to be someone who can work with Pokemon. I want to make people smile just as brightly as their Pokemon. Oh! Shoot! Sorry, I’m running my mouth again.” Alana clamped over her mouth as she tried to hide her face within Ponyta neck.
[Alana was massaged] ”Thank you, and I’m sorry that I keep giving you so much trouble.” Well, the truth was that the mansion was the one who was giving the two trouble but at the same time they were falling into every trap it sent out at them. Yet, it was a bit dark in the building so some things weren’t as clear as others. ”Waaa…?” Something sticky plastered itself over Alana’s face and something wasn’t letting go of her hand. The child didn’t even realize that she just walked in on a Pokemon’s web. ”I-I’m sorry Skylar but...I think I’m stuck…”

Upon arriving at the mansion Maria had to choice between Lillipup and Espurr. It wasn’t a hard choice. Lillipup was having fun with Cyndaquil and Chance. She didn’t want to ruin that. “Espurr, why don’t you hang out in here for now…”She told with a smile as she took out his pokéball. Espurr nodded before being returned to his pokéball. That left her and Lillipup to do their best. The two followed Koru and Kirsi inside the haunted manor. Whatever was in there they could handle it together.
It was dark and kind of creepy. The creaking of the floor certainly didn’t help matters any. Maria took a deep breath as she tried to compose herself. This wasn’t too horrible… yet… Key word there… “Right,”Maria agreed to Koru and Kirsi. Honestly she wasn’t afraid of ghosts. Not all ghosts anyways. However it wasn’t long before a Zubat swooped down at Koru, Cyndaquil sending out a smokescreen in the process. Lillipup jumped back in shock but other than that no one got hurt.“Yeah, let’s do it.” She replied before heading further down the hall. Lillipup was quick to follow her trainer as they made it along.
Suddenly a black blur came running past. “What was that?”Maria jumped back in surprise. Lillipup jumped back as well in alarm. It wasn’t something she was ready for. Though, it wasn’t the worst thing that could jump out at them. Both Maria and Lillipup glanced into the shadows of the door way the blur headed in. Whatever it was it didn’t stick around long. “Things really like jumping out at us here.” She stated honestly. Hopefully it wouldn’t become a habit.

Okay not a smooth entrance but at least she didn't scream her head off and Cyndaquil didn't let out an Ember instead of a smokescreen. She picked herself up and patted down her pants of dust while Kirsi checked if she was alright. What just happened might've seemed funny to most, and to her it kinda was,"Don't worry I'm fine! At least it wasn't a..." She knew what she was about to say, and it gave her the heeby jeebies. She trailed her words into a mumble til changing the subject entirely,"Thank goodness that wasn't an ember attack right!" Cyndaquil looked distraught feeling embarrassed unleashing his smokescreen like that. They had been working on that he thought it was better but guess he was still a scaredy cat...
Koru looked around the house's interior a little more since no bats were coming back at them. It was definitely creepy and not a place she thought she would find herself in. It was dark, decrepit and the slightest breeze sent a eerie creek through the floorboards. If she was here earlier maybe the daylight could've provide a better chance to view things, but it was just too dark to really see but not dark enough to see where she was going, a good half-n-half. She dared not think about what could be in the darkest corners of this house, but they were only in the door- she had to see it through. Kirsi was talking about opening a window to let out the smokescreen, but it was practically gone already, but Kirsi's words seemed to have drifted off,"Kir? Oh okay..." Without really thinking what she was doing she, with Cyndaquil atop her shoulder, held onto Kirsi's hand and Maria's with the other. She blushed a bit and tried to write it off with a random excuse,"Oh! Um well w-we bet-ter not to get lost right? I mean uh hm...okay onward!” She was showing so much fake confidence right now the next scare could send her into a coma...
There were closed doors all around this house, not making it too obvious that this place held its secrets, but who would dare open such a door? Elementary kids that's who. Walking past such a door Koru heard a lighthearted noise that caused her to jump out of her skin and cling to Kirsi like a Slakoth to a tree, "WHAT WAS THAT?!” She couldn't stop her voice from reaching new heights. She was too frightened to even check, like this was moment in horror films where they would check and the monster jumps out to eat them. Seeing just how frightened she was Cyndaquil puffed out his chest and hopepd to the ground, "Quil quil cynda quil" (I'm checking I'll protect Koru!) He wanted to be a little brave for her at least. Koru looked down and tried to stop him but he shoved the door open with ease, just a knock of the nose.
Koru couldn't believe he did that. She looked into the room wide eyed with fright "No way...this is how all horror movies start-!”She flinched hearing the noise again, but she still couldn't see anything. The noise seemed to whisper to her like a lullaby, it was calming but eerie. Her eyes felt so heavy, she wanted to close them, slowly she started to mumble, "Hey...you...guys hear...th-” Her eyes completely closed- she apeared to be asleep, but the sound of a snap made her eyes shoot open wide and she hopped away from Kirsi to the middle of the hall. She stood in a strange stance with her hands raised up as she rambled the same phrase,"Bal. Batoy. Baltoy Bal. Toy toy Bal.” She did not know the pokemon, but she was for reason imitating a Baltoy- almost like she thought she was one.

Chance wanted to dash forward and play with Lillipup and Cyndaquil, but he knew he had to stay close to protect Kirsi. And help her feel safe. Still, he padded up next to Lillipup, sniffing at the shadows. "Growl?" (Something there?) Kirsi was keeping an eye on the doorway opening into the pumpkaboo room, but she mumbled in response to Maria, "At least it's not ghosts.." She felt Koru's presence moments before the girl took her hand. A little startled, Kirsi nonetheless felt a little better. Then she was glad for the excuse to keep holding on. "I guess it would be easy, huh?" Kirsi took what Koru said at face value: she assumed the other girl was entirely enjoying the house and not scared at all.
Chance ended up trailing behind them; there wasn't much room for him to walk when they were so close to each other. He barked when Koru jumped, causing Kirsi to let out a whoosh of breath. Kirsi knocked into the wall for support. "It's probably another bat or something," Kirsi chuckled, finding it easier to pretend to be not-scared right now since Koru was....scared? Koru was scared? A bit stunned, Kirsi watched as Koru's movements suddenly got... weird. A little slumped. "Um, Koru...?" Then the girl started hopping, like some kind of weird dance. "What was- um, Koru?" Kirsi flicked her half-scared, half-incredulous eyes to Maria. "Bal...toy?"
Looking back at Koru, Kirsi stepped up to her slowly. Distracted, she didn't notice something shift in the room Cyndaquil had just opened. Please don't be a ghost, please don't be a ghost... Kirsi reached out, placing a hand on Koru's shoulder. "Koru? Hey, Koru! Wake up!" Worried now, Kirsi shook her by the shoulders. What if Koru never stopped doing this weird dance, ever?
Kirsi didn't get a chance to see if Koru woke up- something crashed in the dark depths of the open room. Kirsi spun and her heart jumped. Something huge and white flapped into the hallway. "Gh-gho-!" The 'ghost' slammed into the opposite wall. Growling, a black dog ripped the sheet off its body and hurled itself at Kirsi. "Chance!" she barely managed to yelp in time. Chance scrambled, slipping in his attempt to hurry. He just barely got his jaws around the houndour's hind leg. It stopped and spun, snapping at him, and the two rolled on the floor, a tangle of growling and flying paws.

X⇒ LOCATION : Spooky Mansion XXXXXXXXXX⇒ WITH : Iris Silvano was relived that Ling and his newest pokemon where able to scare off the wild Houndour. For a moment there he didn't think it was going to leave them alone. Returning his attention to Iris, Silvano couldn't help but find her cheerful reaction endearing -- finding the little pose she did especially cute in the costume. He then let out a bit of a laugh when Iris came up with a name for their teamwork. Haruno and Silvano power sounded fun. Though, shortly after it soon dawned on him that Iris had offhandedly called him by his first name, something she had never done before nor did he allow. It didn't exactly irritate him that she had used it. More or less, he only found it embarrassing since the only ones that used it were those would he considered really close to him, like his sisters. While he did consider Iris 'close' and had even given her permission to say his nickname, Silvano didn't think she was close enough to use his full name outright. Maybe it was an accident? Or maybe it was fully intentional? Silvano wasn't sure, but from the looks of it, Iris seemed astonished when she quickly caught on to her mistake. Asking if it was alright for her to call him Antonio, Silvano's gaze at her turned cold. Since she had apologized, he found it difficult to be upset with her, but still felt somewhat bothered.
"Was that an accident?" Silvano abruptly spoke up at first, unsure of what exactly to say next as attempted to calm himself. "You're right... Silvano immediately felt offended, unaware that Iris didn't mean to affront him. "I see how it is... fine then... Forget what I said."Silvano folded his arms, feeling even more irritation rise up inside of him. Expecting Iris to offer him some sort of apology, he instead looked on in utter disbelief as Iris began to walk away from him, heading into the darkness up ahead. Silvano blinked a couple times, unable to comprehend why she had all of a sudden decided to ignore him and just walk off. Did he inadvertantly offend her that badly? Biting down on his lip, Silvano's eyes narrowed with rage. "What's wrong with you?" He couldn't help but blurt back her, finding her continued silence even more deplorable. "Alright, you don't have to be my friend -- I don't need you. Iris, you can go get lost in this place for all I care!" Turning on his heel, Silvano decided to storm off, back down the stairs, blindly passing by a little black fox that was so sought after. He had enough of this haunted mansion and only wanted to go off and collect his thoughts. Inwardly, he felt deeply hurt that Iris was going to give him the cold shoulder. If that was the case, he'd do the same to her.
