Returning Hydreigon Simon rose and walked back to where the miner was who told him about the fossils. "You guys are pretty amazing. I've been looking for a few hours now and haven't found anything but coal. If you have a wheelbarrow I can bring the coal over." The miner smiled and nodded pointing out the wheelbarrow and grabbed a shovel. As they went over and the miner shoveled the coal into the wheelbarrow they walked back to the entrance. "Thanks a lot for your help today, here I found this and think you should have it." Simon's face lit up as the miner handed him an Armor fossil.

Thanking the man Simon rushed out of the mine but instead of going to the museum he decided to go to the Pokecenter in order to wash and clean up. Once he was clean he wanted to get the Pokemon however the hard work had tired him out. Yawning he went into the sleeping area and climbed into a free bed to sleep for a while before reviving the fossil Pokemon.

Waking up the next morning Simon healed his team up and went out to museum in order to revive his final fossil. The scientist there remembered him and motioned him into the back room where Simon placed the armor fossil in the machine and waited as the image and Pokedex entry came up on the screen. "Shieldon the shield Pokemon. It was generated from a fossil dug out of a layer of clay that was older than anyone knows. It has a sturdy face." Once it was revived and sent to the PC Simon thanked the scientist and went outside to determine his next travel location.

It looked like most of the region's Pokemon weren't going to be much of a challenge for his team especially when it came to leveling up. There was a new law or rule that was passed that all trainers could train in Victory Road even without all of the badges. Because of that Simon sent out Noivern and advised him they were returning to Unova to Victory Road to train.

Walking towards Oreburgh included no breaks. 'Nik was sincerely getting tired, and was starting to drop further and further behind. This was only his second day! He couldn't take so much walking already! And it was hot... the son was shining... He was thirsty! Deys glanced back at him, coming to a stop, and waiting till the snivy had caught up, scooping him up in his fin and moving to catch up with their trainer, and putting him back down. Sotnik would have been grateful, but he just had to keep walking again, now, and just fall behind again. If they didn't take a break he was going to end up collapsing.

Luckily, it seemed Zakhav wasn't completely merciless or crazy, or inhuman. Once they reached Oreburgh, he brought them to the pokecenter, where 'Nik positively collapsed. He released Lillipup and Totodile, demanded they all stay in place, and went to get some food for them all. Totodile eyed the container holding the egg, but just as he was starting to move to lean towards it, Deys came down hard on his head with a fin, nearly knocking the water pokemon out, his eyes seeing stars. Rubbing his head as he came to his senses, the pokemon growled, showing its teeth as it glared up at the Empoleon, but did nothing else in retaliation.

As totodile crossed his arms over his chest and seemed to begrudgingly decide to behave, there was an odd, slightly muffled, cracking sound. All the pokemon straightened up immediately-- and then all turned in unison to look at the container on the table, hiding the egg. There was a moment of complete silence, a reaction of fear in some, uncertainty in others, and intrigue from, well... one. As another crackling sound came from teh container, Zak approached, carrying a tray with several bowls piled on one another with pokefood, and his own plate. He set the tray down, frowning at the looks on his pokemon's faces, but before he could question, another cracking sound came.
His head snapped so fast it was almost like two still shots shown after the other. His eyes were immediately locked onto the container, and he quickly shoved the tray forward, letting the more hungry of his pokemon grab their bowls, and quickly moving to unlatch the top of the container and open it. He pushed some of the blanketing aside, and his face lit up. Even Deys seemed surprised by the bright, joyous and excited grin that crossed his face. He looked like a child who, after years of asking, had just opened a box on Christmas morning to find their very own puppy.
Almost instantly, the grin slid to a smirk, and he reached in, lifting the newly hatched lizard-like pokemon out. "Velcome to ze vorld, little von," he greeted, smirking as he drew it close to himself, folding his arm to let her lay along it. She gave a small sound, but seemed to hold a grin under those empty eye sockets. She was so light... incredibly light. He dropped down onto his seat, gently petting her. He couldn't help but wonder what pokemon it was... He'd never seen anything remotely close to it...

First thing Zakhav did when he arrived at Oreburgh-- after a rather long walk-- was go to the pokecenter. He was sincerely hoping his materials had already arrived, but, unfortunately, they would apparently still be a few hours. By now it was getting on later in the morning, and Zakhav made his way back up to shield himself against the sun. If he couldn't work on his communications device... he could probably at least go and battle the gym. He moved over to find a seat, however; he hadn't had much chance to research it last night, with all the other work he had to do, but he might as well do that now, so he knew who to use. And maybe he could get a few recreational things done, too.

After writing a few replies and double checking the gym leader's information, Zak packed up his things once more. He headed towards the gym, Daeva balanced on his shoulders, wrapped around his neck with her little claws clinging to his shirt for stability. He didn't seem to mind, his attention focused ahead, already thinking over who he'd use. Deys was strong enough, he didn't really need the training; neither did Sotnik, really, but between the two of them, he'd rather train his starter. Totodile could probably benefit from it the most, though he wasn't sure he wanted him taking on the whole team. Absently tugging on a pair of fingerless gloves-- a habit he had-- he entered the gym, his pokemon walking along just behind him on either side. "Vhenever's good, I'd like to challenge ze gym leadur," he called out, his voice a lazy drawl as he adjusted his gloves a bit.
Roark appeared soon thereafter, with a raised eyebrow, pulling a pokeball off his belt. "If you're here for a battle, it's a battle you'll get. Don't think my pokemon will go down without a fight, though," he commented, eying the servine beside the man, and the towering Empoleon on his other side. "I never assume zat about my opponents," Zakhav replied, grinning, "But I don't plan to lose." He pulled out Totodile's pokeball, enlarging it, and sending it out as Roark did the same.

Roark was completely outclassed here unfortunately. Try as he might, his pokemon were far too weak to hold their own against water and grass types. "Jeez, if my dad hears about this... Not even a single gym badge--" Roark muttered a bit to himself and sighed, returning his Onix before glancing back up to Zak. "Well I guess fair is fair. You were strong and I was weak, that's all there is to it. Here, you can have the Coal Badge." Roark approached his challenger with his badge and two disks in hand. One for Stealth Rock, and the other for Rock Smash. "I should warn you though, there's seven other gym leaders here in Sinnoh, and they're a lot tougher than I am!" He chuckled, waving Zak off before leaving the gym to head back to the mines.

Zakhav tilted his head to the side, and slightly back, raising an eyebrow and looking at the young man through half open eyes. "I am... avare, sank you...." he replied. Not entirely impressed by the warning-- likely out of arrogance or just dismissive attitude-- he took the winnings, giving a polite nod, and turning, pocketing them and making his way on back out. That hadn't been too difficult... he wasn't sure how the next gym would go. He needed to check what type they specialized in, but he knew it was back in Eterna City.
He healed his pokemon, and once he made sure he had everything, started walking, unaware of the tape that had begun to fray on one particular pokeball...

After healing his pokemon in Eterna City, Zak started to make his way back towards Oreburgh. He was sure there was another train station available closer, but he would just have to travel back once he got to Unova anyway, so he figured he might as well return to the little town the labs were in anyway. Besides, for as many hours as it would take to get there, he had just as many hours of work to do, and between that, eating, and sleeping-- and possibly training-- he really didn't mind making the trek.
While he walked, he had his computer out, held on one arm while he typed with the other. Meebus gazed curiously from where he'd been temporarily let out-- only for Zak to notice, and promptly return him, turning the ball inward so that it -- hopefully -- couldn't release the pokemon.

With prying eyes (and body) gone, Zak focused on his task. He was setting up the program he'd been building for days-- maybe it had been weeks? He wasn't sure-- that would allow him access to the PC system. It would be able to get into many -- not all, but many -- trainer's PC's. Surprisingly, his objective wasn't necessarily to steal them all. Sure, some might be, but a lot of the others would be 'rearranged'. The idea was to make it look like the PC system was faulted; that someone could possibly be stealing it, that it was glitching, because of the hacking or otherwise, and that the system needed to be updated. From there... Team Imperium would start their work. This was why he loved his job; he had a good role in a lot of what they did, but a lot of it, he just had to set things up and get things moving, and other people would take it from there.

Zak lifted his head, frowning as he heard Lillipup's muffled yipping. He turned, looking to see the pokemon hurriedly and desperately running along to catch up. Wh... had he been left behind or something? Zak watched with a frown, looking down as he followed the pup's path to his feet. Lillpup was clearly quite pleased with himself, sitting at his feet, and offering what he'd found. Finally! He'd found it! It had been the object he'd been smelling that whole time-- he'd found it! But... it turned out, Zak hadn't really... waited for him....
The trainer narrowed his eyes, carefully balancing his laptop and reaching down to take the object. He stood back up, looking over it, frowning. Finally, he held it up, and looked down at Lillipup. "Nyet," he reprimanded simply, "Focus on more useful sings." Lillipup deflated. Despite tucking the object away, Zakhav seemed far from appreciative, and the pokemon trotted off to investigate further as they continued making their way through Oreburgh, and on to the next location.

It didn't take long for Scarlett to enter Oreburgh, silently wishing the seaside a sad farewell as she entered the rustic and developed city. First thing was first; she was hungry, and she was certain her team probably was too. This would be a good moment to take inventory and heal up for their upcoming match. After all, Scarlett had stolen so many items from so many people, it was hard to actually keep track of it all.
