"What is that thing? Why isn't this working?" Trisha clicked the B button.

While he was contemplating his next move, Argy, as their professor had called him, entered into a very strange confrontation with a small dog-creature—a shibe eevee, apparently. It seemed like a serious obstacle of some sort, if only because of everyone's reaction to it. Bren didn't quite understand why Argy couldn't just get out of his vehicle and physically move the thing, but maybe this fighting was meant to teach them a new lesson. Surely they'd learned all they could about teamwork already.

Completely unsure as to how to go about murdering this eevee, Brenley chose a number of buttons he'd never used before and got to mashing.

Oh, this was a fighting game? Olivia stared, watching the screen before she did any further sort of actions. But Andrew had said to press buttons, so she did. And wondered why that spiral thing couldn't be used yet.

Maple in turn had been watching a little frustrated because it seemed nothing was happening. The character was just walking in almost circles, aimless. Not like she was helping any which just kind of got her more in a sour mood. And the battle that popped up didn't help either. She grew concerned and hesitated pressing a button, hoping that it wouldn't make them all lose.

While it was normal for classrooms to be noisy on occasion, while walking by this particular one, the noise had increased sharply then died back down.

Curious as to what made all the noise, Millie peeked her head in. Everyone seemed to be playing a video game. Since there was no sign up sheet in sight, Millie assumed this was just another after school activity and had less of a problem with just walking in to pick up a controller and take a seat.

Everyone seemed to be having fun. Well, fun in the sense that frustrating things are sometimes fun and Millie wanted to help too.

Looking at her controller, she pressed a few buttons. How else would she know if her controller was working?

Unfortunately, Millie was so nervous that she pressed start by mistake, but she felt she needed a few more presses to be certain that her controller was doing something.

It seemed like, given the chattering of a few ghouls nearby, the object of the current situation was to capture this... Eevee. And given how they selected the fossil and not the sf ticket, Tansy was at last forced to concede that perhaps everybody else's controller also in fact did things.

"People should just let ME press all the buttons," she said, but not without a sniff of condescension. She pressed up, in hopes that they would select the one item that could help them.

Oh no, did they really have to fight minis? This one seemed pretty cute too, but Erebus supposed that they did have to get to the goal and it was attacking Argyle's own minipets too.

The boil sighed, and just pressed the a button.

"We must fight!" Trisha Squeaked again, loudly. She didn't really know why they were fighting, they could just offer the mini candy or something. "Or maybe we could give it candy, why is that not an option?"

Olivia seemed happy. She was watching the screen. And she hadn't moved away yet. Andrew gave her a look... it seemed he had been forgotten by the other ghouls. So he scooted a little closer. Was this ok? Maybe he was wrong, and she could be ok? Class was the last place the flame demon's mind was.

Why wasn't anyone listening? A whole classroom of students and no one could figure out the proper way to handle the minipet?

The Yule Cat turned to the girl sitting behind her, a pale ghost-looking creature with (Tansy was forced to concede) beautiful black curls. She was the best-dressed out of everyone sitting around her, so she was now the sole receiver of her attentions.

"Hello," Tansy cut in, ignoring anyone else who might have been trying to get the other girl's attention. "Here, you should press this button." Ignoring the inconvenient fact that she also didn't know what she was doing, Tansy reached over and pressed the 'A' button on Olivia's controller.

For a brief moment, Olivia felt a little burst of warmth grow closer towards her until her natural ability kicked in and pressed it back, as it tended to do. Especially with Andrew. The ghoul was about to look over at him, to see exactly what he was doing when she found another face in front of her instead.

Someone completely new to her and as customary as it was with new creeple, Tansy got herself a nice long happy stare before any word was uttered in her direction. Though, that gaze soon turned puzzled when the other ghoul reached over and began pressing buttons and Olivia's greeting sounded a little more confused than she wanted it to. "Hello...?" She looked down at her controller, pressing the A button once again without much thought and then picked her head back up. "That's the best button for this game?" Again, she didn't know. She was used to phones.

Well, might as well ask someone. So, Olivia turned to Andrew and in so many words, "A?" along with deeply curious face.

Clara had been panicking about hitting the "start" button a while back (she didn't know it had been quite a while) but when she came to her senses, they had apparently won against a Shibe Eevee that Argyle and his team had encountered in the cave.

"Oh." The ghoul muttered to herself. Looking at the map and seeing that the quickest way around the block of rock would be to go right and then up, Clara hit "right" on her controller, hoping the others knew what to do, but having no intentions of saying it out loud.
