They were all gone now. The hunters. Mitsu. Mitsu was gone. There was silence for Hel now, punctuated from her labored breathing from the fight she had put up to protect Mitsu.
Her chest felt tight as the realization sunk in. She was gone. Hel had failed. Hearing about losing other students had touched the reaper, yes. Losing peers was not a good feeling…but this loss…this was too personal. What if they never saw her again? What if, the next time they saw her; it was in the hands of a Hunter? A tool. Hel stared down at her hands, clutching bits of rubble and debris. The little lycan ghoul who had always been so thoughtful and so sweet…the little lycan who had held onto her sleeve all throughout the Isles, and the little lycan who had caught her as she fell. Gone.
With that ache of loss in her chest, Hel didn’t want to fathom how Shun felt.
Useless. That’s what she had been. She couldn’t do anything to help Mitsu.
With that ache of loss came the rush of anger.
Hel’s body shuddered before let out a scream that echoed through out the room. Anger and pain. She banged her fists on the stone floor like a mad woman, but even then it wasn’t enough. Her fingers closed around pebbles, stones and woods bits, and she pushes herself to her feet and threw them, screaming again. It wasn’t enough though, and soon Hel was tearing her way across the floor towards the three thrones. The first one, Hel moved her hands under the middle one and flipped it down the stairs with a cry. How did a reaper manage to do that?
Adrenaline and pure rage.
She then moved down to one of the end ones and flipped that off another side of the stairs. Upon reaching the third one, Hel pushed against it, making it slide across the platform a few edges before she rammed it with another loud cry and watched it tumble down the stairs as well. She stood at the top, chest heaving before she pressed her hands to her face.
After some time, the reaper finally made her way to Shun. Quietly. Her face of devoid of any expression as she knelt in front of the grim and grabbed at the net. With a grit of her teeth she tore it off of him and threw it to the side. She didn’t know what she could say to him right now. Nothing. Instead, she just reached out and placed a hand on his shoulder.

He felt... numb. And it wasn't because of the effects of the net. The physical pains of his body couldn't even be felt at this point. Perhaps it was a sign that his body was giving out. It really didn't matter to him. Shun had tried to protect her, but he failed. He had failed horribly too for that matter. Time didn't really seem to pass by for him, and though he heard Hel rampaging, he didn't really register it. No, for now he was lost in his own thoughts. The restrictions upon his body at the moment did well to quash any anger that would have risen otherwise. There was no outlet for rage, so it simply did not exist.
Finally, after some time, he was free from the net. The Reaper still felt incredibly weak, even without it encasing him. Slowly, he pushed himself up so that he was at least kneeling.
Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out his phone and had it dial Lizzy's number.
Dragain "They have her. Mitsu's been taken by the hunters," He practically whispered it. For a moment or so, he looked vulnerable as he said it. It was another rare thing to see from him. Without any other explanation or waiting for a reaction, he hung up.
"Leave me," he ordered the others, but his tone wasn't firm as it had been when he gave out commands earlier.
