or we could start doing am aquarium booty grab thread
or maybe we could make our own guild outfit to show everyone who we are and tell people about it on forums and in zomg
the outfit would represtent who our guild is and show how great it is

I like Dead Momories suggestion as well, as it is it is hard to get to know the folks on here because even though we may add them as friends, sometimes after that we never even speak to each other again.

another idea is Most epic avatars or lotto,maybe we can have a mega lotto and win like 4mil or so.The avatar contest could be us having the number avatars by making a tektek.

I have several:
-Have a system that rewards players for how how many posts they have (ie: lvl one posters have reached 1k posts, get rewarded with 1k...something like that. The rewards get better the higher level you are).
-A guild zomg subbie.Members can post their stats, and post meet up servers/times, etc..
-A guild birthday event thats a week long. Each day would feature a major prize to win (a 'super-prize'), with lots of special mini-contests, event 'ball' (hangout thread and/or in town),etc...
-A small legion of secret gifters. Members can apply (so it not just on the guild to carry, and they can get to give as well as get) if they want to, with a mule if they like or their main (though you'd have to MAKE SURE to click 'anonymous'.lol). Mules could have a uniform perhaps, or at least uniform colors.
-We should have guild colors. They don't have to be mandatory to wear, just its good to show support when members feel like it. Also for playing zomg together, guild colors would be fun to show off (imagine a horde of players in the colors.People would ask: "why are you dressed like that?" and we'd tell them: "Because we are from the guild 'Oh my gold!'."), as well showing them off at something like the above mentioned guild birthday bash.

Intense contest 0.0 100k wow.
So maybe each week we have a tektek contest, and a different theme each week. And the tekteker who tekteked the tektek wins a prize. And maybe after that, there can be an art/ drawing contest. The person who draws the best pic of that tektek wins a prize too. It's like a combination of art and tekteking.

suggestion #1: Having 1 question/answer per post for the quizzes is a little rediculous, dont you think? i mean its already up to what over 7000, maybe 8000 pages?(plus some peoples computers are stupidly slow and have issues with loading that much data)
Suggestion #2: Take note who has won and who hasnt to give every one a chance to win(given the they try in any contest) How many times has the same person won gold from a give away? Just wondering, because I've tried to take part my best in every contests, but it just seems pointless for ME because I know im probably never going to win. sad I have never had any luck with any of the contests I have actually tried to win. so maybe Oh My Gold is just not the right guild for me. zOMG gives gold weither your lucky or not, thats just the kinda person i am.

I am new to gaia but I have to say I agree with deadmemories and crazygeek ideas...It's a lot easier when you you know the other person.
And I guess a little competition is ok to.

1. Have people in the guild invite their friends [get the guild known]
2. Post in the forums and be like, "Oh My Gold! Polls, Contests, Give-a-ways & More: A place to make Gold and best of all, New Friends!!!"
[I'd go to it if someone wrote that, I like to meet new people!]
3. Like a lot of people said [I think...] promote it on 'zOMG!'
4. I know a lot of people [not me (:] would like more contests so you can post 'Want to win amount of gold? You can here, at contest name! Anyone can win! Including new friends on Gaia!
5. Like Ingvanya said, we can have guild colors we could wear on certain days. [optional of course!]
6. Holiday side-threads! Have contest for like, St. Patricks Day, Easter, etc. But you had to apply to the thread to be in the contest!

Hmmm.. this may not be the best idea, but we could have people make drawing and things of that sort and send them in. I think that it would be neat to see other Gain's Artwork!! And also someday, we should have a day where EVERYONE can meet in like towns or zOMG or whatever.... you know... xp

I think there should be a poem contest where all you have to do is post a poem that you wrote but for each contest there should be a certain theme Ex. Dark, eerie, bright, funny, etc. (But it doesn't have to rhyme) And have a prize for the best writer!
