Worst bands ever?

Basically any metal/emo band. Except for System Of A Down.

The one thing I absolutely hate is when people don't give certain bands a chance just because they're too popular. I had a friend who hated Green Day, whenever I asked her why she hated Green Day, she said:
"They're sell-outs",
"They're too popular".
She was nice, but come on - "too popular"? People try way too hard to be 'original', they act as if a tiny similarity to many people is a terrible thing.

The Killers get an honorable mention - my sister's obsessed with them, and I don't really care for their music. I don't hate it, but at the same time I don't like it. It gets stuck in my head quite a bit. But the band members are pricks. xD

Eh,that's your opinion. The singer (to me) sounds like a goat getting his tail smashed in a door. The singer ruins it for me. Actually their last ablum was a quarter decent to me. lol But again,it's opinions ppl,just opinions. 3nodding

Ok I like the bands you hate but I sooooo agree with what you say about the popularity thing, my cousin was the same way.
I mean if you like their songs, and or they are awesome why deny it cause people agree with you. The fact they are popular shows sometimes (not all the time with recent crazy fans) they have talent and deserve such love.

Oh and the bands I dislike are Killers, Paramore (readies for attacks cause loads love em, but I don't think she can sing and cause she's pretty does mean she can sing.) Joe bros (though they do have one song that was catchy), I can't think of other bands to hate, all other people I dislike in music are singers, not bands. Those I can list a tone of.

What the s**t is with the nonsense regarding Metal? Metal is a far more technical form of music than the vast majority of the crap that's being posted in here, and with the exception of obvious genres like Jazz and Classical/Baroque/Romantic/etc., it's one of the most technical and instrumentally demanding forms of music out there.

So please, unless you know what you're talking about, keep silent.

I rest my case.

Also, as for my list, I'd have to say...

pmuch the vast majority of recycled Pop-Rock and Post-Grunge (with the exception of bands like Paw)
HIM (boring crap)
