Dill smiled at her touch and a few bubbles passed his lips as well. He leaned into her slowly, not totally sure he should kiss. Only knowing that he wanted to.

Lexi blinked at him, a bit surprised. He was actually leaning in to kiss her. Was this right? He was a skater and she was a cheerleader. They were destined to avoid and hate each other. But here they were, at the bottom of her pool, in each other's arms. Finally, she mentally told everyone who ever controlled her to just F-- off and leave her alone. Continuing to smile, she leaned closer to Dill, closing her eyes slowly as her lips grazed his. The sensation of their lips making contact caused a shiver to go up her spine, but it delighted her as well. After a second, she pulled back. Biting her lip, she looked at him, unsure of if that was exactly what he wanted to happen or not.

Dill smiled a little and kissed her again. Deeper this time, more of an actual kiss then a small touch. He pulled her closer too, but still giving her the option of pulling away from him at the same time. His hands resting on the small of her back gently.

Lexi couldn't believe it. A guy she had met that day, a skater at that, was now in her pool, kissing her! God pinch her if this was a dream... But it wasn't, it was all too real to be a dream. Moving her hand from his cheek to the back of his head, she buried her hand in his dark hair, keeping a firm hold on the back of his skull. She closed her eyes once more as she pushed back, kissing him in return. But after another moment, she coughed, multiple bubbles escaping her mouth. She then pulled away, pointing upwards to the surface. She had run out of air. Stupid lungs for ruining the most beautiful moment ever.. She thought to herself as she surfaced, coughing a bit violently, her hand covering her mouth as she panted quickly.

Dill surfaced right after her, panting a little himself. "Sorry about that, should have figured you needed air soon." He pushed his hair back and smiled again. He couldn't believe the amazing feeling she had given him as he kissed her. He wanted to do it again, but held himself back. He had just met the girl like eight hours ago.

"It's... okay." Lexi breathed, now able to slow down her beating heart. She moved some of her bangs from out of her eyes as she smiled back at him. "Hey, let's get out of here and dry off, okay? I can make us something to eat while we do so..."

"Why ya in a hurry to get out? You just talked me into getting in here. No harm in swimming a bit is there?" Dill asked gliding backwards a bit.

"Well, after almost choking to death on water, I think it would just be safer on dry land." Lexi replied with a giggle, wading in the water for a moment before she swam over to the edge, pulling herself up to her feet. "Cowabunga!" She cried as she ran forward before she hopped up, doing a front flip into the water, landing perfectly into a dive. When she surfaced, she did so in front of Dill, laughing as she moved her hand across the water, causing it to splash in his face.

Dill clapped for her as she dove and chuckled splashing her back. "Nice dive for someone who wanted to be on land." He said before a final splash at her.

"Well, I took a few lessons. So no big." Lexi told him with a smile before he began to splash back. Spitting out some water, she laughed at him. "Oh no you don't!" She exclaimed as she tackled him back into the water, grinning as she stared down at him, making sure she took in more breath this time.

Dill didn't have the time to take a breath, sucking in a little water as he tried. He let himself sink eyes open. He was good at holding his breath, but she didn't know that. He laid at the bottom of the pool, arms stretched out, unmoving.

Lexi continued to grin until they reached the bottom of the pool. She then saw that he was not moving underneath her and that scared her. She cried out his name as loud as she could muster, but it was just muffled by the water and bubbles that were exiting through her lips. She looked around frantically, trying to think of something she could do to help. Just resorting to shaking him, trying to wake him up so he wouldn't drown in her pool. God, how would that look?

Dill could tell she was freaking out but still couldn't help the smile that slowly grew on his face. He let out a few bubbles and pushed up to the surface.

As she saw the smile, Lexi's eyes widened. She couldn't believe it. He had totally tricked her. The a**! As he pushed up towards the surface so did she. She panted lightly as she surfaced, now wading beside him. "You tricked me!" She exclaimed as she shot a glare in his direction, a cute one at that. "I can't believe you..."

Dill spit out a bit of water. "Ah come on... It was only a bit of fun." He chuckled a little. She was cute when she was angry, and the glare was hot. He pushed his hair back out of his face.
