Coming next Friday We'll be getting Mk. V Heresy armour along with another bolter variant. (The one with the barrels that look silenced).

It's good that they are producing different bolter patterns, a lot of people were getting sick and tired of the old Mars pattern design.

Indeed, that's what FW listed as one of the primary selling points for that model. wink

What a way to end the week! Forge World has really done it now, by showcasing not one, not two, but three new space marine armour kits in one go!

First up, the venerable Mark 2 Crusade armour:

MkII Armour represented a significant technological step forward compared to the original Mk I Thunder Armour, and was supplied by the Adeptus Mechanicus, who hand-crafted each component to the highest specification. The few surviving examples of this pattern are still maintained by some of the oldest Space Marine Chapters, venerated as sacred relics.

Then we've got the Mark 5 Heresy armour:

The iconic MkV ‘Heresy’ Armour Set is an archaic pattern of Power Armour, first created during the dark and shadowed days of the Great Betrayal, which saw several layers of inferior-quality materials bonded with adamantium studs. As some Forge Worlds sided with Horus and some remained loyal to the Emperor, the supply lines from the Forge Worlds that manufactured arms and armour for the Legions were heavily disrupted, forcing the Legions to develop the Mk V pattern.

And there's the Mark 6 Corvus armour, more commonly known as "Beakie armour":

Designed as a successor to the advanced MkIV ‘Maximus’ armour that was derailed by the Horus Heresy, MkVI ‘Corvus’ Armour is distinctive for its’ relatively clean appearance and elongated, conical nose – designed to house additional systems including advanced Autosenses. The studded left shoulder pad, taken from the previous MkV pattern, commemorates the glory of those heroes who stood at the Eternity Gate alongside the Emperor himself.
We've also got yet another pack of bolters with combat attachments, this time round the Phobos pattern:

The Phobos Pattern Bolter Pack is closely associated with Mk II ‘Crusade’ Armour and is perhaps the most venerable design of the sacred Bolter used by the Astartes. Both were hand-crafted by the Fabricators of Mars at the very birth of the Imperium, to ensure that every Marine had the finest wargear with which to reunite the scattered elements of Humanity.

Just in time for Games Day then

Thinking of the Skaven Rat Ogres; those are actually re-releases which should be nice to see. They were brought out with the previous edition of the Skaven army book.

oh and the top link doesn't work

And I thought the rat ogres were going to be new models... Oh well, no need to buy them since I already have some of those lying around already. : D
