((.... =_=" ah ok, i'll just follow the story and ignore the make it to 17th b'day thing for now..lol...well since izanagi doesnt know about that. or does he? @_@))
The words...the voice...spinning in his head. He had try to concentrate to the lecture. The headphone, he wonder it can be fixed. The headphone is his 15th birthday present from his grandfather that had passed away. Since that day, his life has become different. Spirits around him...they talk to him, tell him their stories. He read along with his classmates in english literature class...and heard gossips.
The girl behind him is starting it. "Is he reading along? That so not like him." The other girl reply, "Well, he's a freak..."
Izanagi doesn't like it at all. But he can't say anything about it. It's true...that he is a freak.
The reccess bell has rung. Students in 1-E still keeping the dead but revived boy as a hot topic. Matsuo is tired of the gossips as he walk out from the classroom and looking for his Iemon in class 2-F. Realising he has all the attention. Annoying...Stupid humans. He thought. Before reaching his Iemon's class, the twins pop out from somewhere.
"Oiwa-sama..." Hibiki call his master's name.
Matsuo in his human form, he is unable to talk free like the spirits. He quickly turn to a darker corner..."What is it?"
The twins looking you and me before telling what had happened to Izanagi and Hanami. "...So, what should we do?"
"Nothing. Just watch." Matsuo replied the twins, telling them to do nothing as he will do the rest. Continue to find his Iemon, he grinned as he know his beloved will like to have someone to keep his audition busy. "This is easier than I thought." Ignoring all the humans all the way to is Iemon classroom...He saw Iemon trying to read a book out loud. "Tamiya senpai!" He didn't forget to add 'senpai' behind the name. "What are you doing?" He sit on Izanagi's table. Great. Now that the freak and a come back to live person together, this will soon become a even hotter topic in school.
Izanagi looked up and saw Matsuo. "Yamamoto-kun?" He close the book and focus on Matsuo. "What are you doing here?"
"Visting you? Is that all right?" He smiled to Izanagi. "Let's talk." As he hand over his bento to Izanagi, inviting him to have lunch.
This is the first time...that somebody wants to have lunch and talk to him. No one ever does in this school, except for the spirits. "Ok!" This is good. Good enough to keep himself busy to keep the voices out of his head.

(((OOC: He knows about the ghosts protecting him. They told him after Izanagi left when they first met. He doesn't know what they're protecting the boy from or why. It's really an expression more than anything else. It's like saying, "That guy does such dangerous stuff, he won't live to be an adult." It's not a literal thing, it's just meaning that something about the guy needs to change or he could wind up in an early grave. Umeda said it, because he saw Izanagi as being on a track to an early grave. He made the comment as more of a statement that he was bound and determined to do something to change Izanagi's luck (or in this case, behavior). Does that make sense?)))

After finally regaining his composure, still in kodama form, Umeda wandered the halls of the school. He eventually found himself back in Izanagi's class room... only to notice Matsuo as well. Walking in, Noe climbed up to sit on Izanagi's desk, watching the boy with large staring black eyes. Of course, the kodama had no idea that Yamamoto could see him... But he had taken it upon himself to make sure the descendant of Iemon didn't have another spell again. At least not until Umeda could figure out some way to help him control it.

They were having a very nice conversation and lunch, starting to know each other more...Until the kodama sat on the desk. "Hey senpai, what happen to your headphone? Can it be fixed?" He said like he cannot see the kodama at all but he is hoping Izanagi will chase the kodama away.
Izanagi, not even want to look at the kodama who is on his desk. "...Oh? It's broken. I'll try to fix it anyway. This headphone is very meaningful to me. This is the only thing my grandfather leave to me before he died." Sad memory recalled, he frowns and stare at the headphone.
"Oh...I see. I kind of understand. Someone important left me something very meaningful to me too. But I lost it..." What Matsuo mean is the love Iemon gave 'her' hundred years ago.
"Hey...are you free after school? I mean, we can go somewhere else?" Ignoring the kodama is sitting on his desk, Izanagi inviting Matsuo to accompany him after school. He does not want to go back to the big silent house or face the kodama.
Matsuo smiled and nodded. "I'm free." Since Izanagi is ignoring the kodama, he do the same. "I never have anyone inviting me out before. This will be fun." He giggles.
"Oh yeah..." Izanagi understands. Matsuo was always ill. "It surprise me when I know you're the freshman everyone was talking about." He can't hold his curiousity. "By the way, how did you recover? You don't look sick at all." He point at Matsuo with his finger, rudely.
The red hair giggled, louder than before but not like laughing. "You wouldn't believe me if I tell you." Shake his head, he said. Then he continue before Izanagi ask the question he already know. "I was dead..." Paused a while, he press his tummy laughing a bit. "...and brought back to live. I'm not sure how this happen but when I open my eyes, I saw myself sleeping in the coffin. It was scary and weird. But my illness is gone. Its a miracle."
"Wow, no kidding? It is really...unbelievable!" He take a good look of Matsuo and even pinch his face softly. "It's warm." He blinked. "Cool~ You must be loved by god."
Matsuo blushed when Izanagi pinch his face. The touch...Just like the touch of Iemon. He disagree with Izanagi's last sentence. "I don't think god loves me...but I think neither god or demon wants my soul." The bell rung again, reccess is over. "Well got to go...See you at main gate after school, senpai." He stand up and said before leaving.
"Matsuo." He call the freshman's name. "Just call me Izanagi." Narrowing his eyes, he smile charmingly. "And thanks for lunch."
His heartbeat skipped when his senpai call his name. Slowly turning back to him, he smile back and nodded. "You welcome, Izanagi-kun." Although that is not 'her' heart, not 'her' body, nor 'her' name. But at that moment, he feel...happy.
After Matsuo leave his class, Izanagi looked up to see the invinsible kodama. He didn't say anything, but warned the kodama not to disturb him again with a ghastly look.

Umeda paid attention to EVERY - SINGLE - WORD of the conversation between the two boys. Not only that, but the kodama was still going over what he had seen when Izanagi passed through his spirit form. Eventually however, before the teacher could begin class again, blank black eyes stared up at Izanagi, before Noe stood up and walked forward, standing just in front of the student. "He isn't normal." Noe spoke seriously, tiny arms crossed over his pale translucent chest. "People don't die, stay dead long enough to be in a coffin, and then come back to life. I mean, think about it, Izanagi-san," his polite tone was obviously being used to simply try and keep himself in some form of good grace with the young man. "If you're in a coffin... you've already been embalmed. Meaning that kid doesn't have any organs... no blood, no fluid... nothing. He's the walking dead, a mummy, a zombie... and in my opinion, Izanagi-san... he is, more than likely, possessed."

((o.o embalmed? that sounds like mummy...but japanese do that before putting a dead person in the coffin? @_@))
Without his headphone, he heard every word from the kodama. He cannot speak to the kodama directly since the reccess is over and the class is filling up again. To avoid any awkward situation, Izanagi open the book he read just now and write. It didn't take long before he push the book to the kodama. He wrote, "Matsuo has body warm. If he is anything like you said just now, he wouldn't have tell me all that. He is alive or dead, I'll find it out after school. You don't have to worry."

Laureate1028 ((o.o embalmed? that sounds like mummy...but japanese do that before putting a dead person in the coffin? @_@)) (((OOC: Actually, people in Japan tend to be cremated. This is mainly due to the fact that there isn't really that much room for graveyards in Japan. However, I'm pretty sure they might also have the same practice that is seen in some southern US states (mainly Louisiana) where after embalming and the funeral, the body is put into a family grave that is above the ground (a protection, in part, to keep bodies from washing out of the ground during a flood). This above ground grave acts like an oven, literally cooking the body to nothing but ash in a matter of years (though sometimes skulls or small bones are left over... I saw a few when I went to New Orleans and toured an above ground cemetery). The practice of embalming is different than mummification. Mummification will actually keep the body from decomposing, thus why mummies are so old and well preserved. Embalming is basically a similar process, however the body will still decay. It (the removal of organs and putting preservatives into the body) just keeps the body from decaying until after a mourning period is over (you know, so you can view the body before the corpse is buried). ))) ~ ~ ~
Standing over the notebook, bent at the waist to read the words, Umeda looked like a ghost version of the pilsbury doughboy... After reading it however, Noe could only laugh before turning completely and looking up at Izanagi. "I have a warm body, don't I?" the kodama asked seriously. "I'm a spirit... meaning my power creates my body... and it certainly functions like a living man's body. Believe me. I've tested everything." That was certainly true. "If Yamamoto is being possessed, it's no doubt a powerful spirit... in which case, you need to be careful, Izanagi-san." completely black eyes focused on the young man. "I'm following you after school today."

(( ._. heh....? i dont know that cuz in my country, they dont take out the organs unless they were organs donater...besides, matsuo was ill..im sure no one wants a sick person's organ ._.))
The kodama make sense. But that doesn't mean Matsuo is really possessed. He want to see it with his own eyes. No matter what, the truth will be revealed after school. Izanagi stay quiet and listen to the next lecture. It's boring, but lucky there is history class which he is interest in. Only he was concentrating while others are chatting and sleeping on their desk. After school and picking his bike, he meet Matsuo in the main gate. There, Matsuo is already waiting.
"Izanagi-kun!" Raising a hand high enough to let Izanagi see him. "So where are we going?" He smiled.
"Don't know. But first, I have to buy some takoyaki." Jumped onto his bike. "Come on up." He call Matsuo to take the back seat.
"Ah, hai!" Sitting on the back seat they start to move to where the takoyaki stall is. He bought some for himself too. Since...'she' never eat this before. "This taste good." After a bite of it, he is love with it. Despite the kodama is following them everywhere...He is not comfortable with him around.
"Hehe yeah!" Izanagi also has a pack of takoyaki take away. This is for the kitten that lives behind the station alley. He put it in his bag.
Curious, Matsuo wonder why Izanagi keeping it. "You're not going to eat it?"
"Nope, this is for my pet." He replied. "It's a kitten. I found her behind the station alley way. Her mother abandoned her."
It is surprise to know Izanagi love animals. "She is lucky to have met you." Matsuo smiled and give his takoyakis to Izanagi. "Want some?"
He remember what the kodama told him. Is Matsuo possessed by some powerful spirit? He want to know. He want to find it out himself. Ignoring the kodama who is watching and hearing them. "Arigatou." He took one of the takoyaki and ate it. "We shall go now. To my pet." He smiled and get on his bike again. Gestured his head telling Matsuo to get on too. Both of them are talking about lame jokes on the way. "We've arrived." Whistling, he crouch and waiting for the kitten to come out by herself. The kitten slowly walk out. She has white fur and black spot between her eyes. She knew her master is here. Purring softly, she approach her master and sit properly, waiting her master to feed her. Izanagi take the takoyakis out and put them on his hand. The kitten eating them and lick the remains on Izanagi's hand.
Matsuo watching Izanagi feed the kitten. The gentle side of the man he love. Smiling as he watch the whole process. He crouched down too and beside Izanagi. "Can I pet her?"
Izanagi nodded. "Sure." He notice his handkerchief still wrapping on Matsuo's elbow. "How was your elbow?"
Laying his hand on the kitten's head, he pet her and it seems the kitten does not realize his true form and not scared of him and lean closer. This is good. Just good. "It's no big deal. Just a little scratch." Touching the handkerchief, he said.
"Mimi likes you." He has a name for the kitten. From the cat's respond, mostly the cat will be scared running away or hisses if something is wrong with the person. But seeing Mimi leaned against Matsuo now, he believe Matsuo is not the danger type of spirit...If he WAS possessed. Everything seems so normal to Matsuo, except for the death and revive. Staring at Matsuo, he is thinking how he can prove to the kodama that Matsuo is human. Does he...still have a heart? He thought. If, he has heartbeat...that means he is human, right?
Matsuo was enjoying playing with the kitten. "Mimi? Is that her name?" He smiled and wonder why Izanagi is staring him like that. "What's wrong?"
Izanagi lightly touch Matsuo's face. It is warm... He just want to know if Matsuo is still human. Does he still has his organs? Does he have a heart? Thinking as he pull Matsuo in his arms. He can feel the thump of Matsuo's heart...beating. "He is warm...and he has heartbeat." Closing his eyes, somehow he does not want to let Matsuo go.
Being pulled into his arms, he blushed and eyes widened. "Izanagi...kun?" He likes it. He likes being hug by the one he love like this. But it's weird to be hug like this with this body. Heartbeating faster and faster...almost can't breath. He know the kodama is watching them as he push away Izanagi. "T-t-this is not right, Izanagi-kun!" Taking deep breaths and turn away.
At this moment, Izanagi realize himself has done something weird. "Ehh? Huh? What? Oh..no no no, please don't think like that! I was just curious about you. It's not what you think!" Declining. He meant he is not gay...but he is blushing after he know what he did. It's embarassing.

There was the tale tell flick of a lighter, and almost as if by magic, Umeda walked out of a previously shadowed alcove nearby the two students. "You know, Iazanagi-san... I thought you understood what I said earlier..." the kodama spoke, his black eyes glinting with danger. "And here," the man replied, taking a pull on his cigarette. "I thought you might actually believe me. I thought there might be a shred of, oh I don't know... obvious wisdom coming from the things I say. I mean, I AM older than you." And that was an understatement...

Matsuo know his identity will be exposed anytime soon. He quickly come up with another plan. He point at the kodama. Stand up, he said,"So it was you! How long do you plan to follow us?" Even though he exposed himself that he can see other spirits but he can still be Matsuo...
Izanagi never thought Matsuo can see spirits too. At that moment, he wasn't sure if what the kodama said was true. "You can see him?" He point the kodama with his finger and stand up too.
"Of course...I start seeing those things on my first day using the school locker...I thought I was the only one can see them in school." He give an innocent frown and shrugged. But it is true that Matsuo his original self has the ability to see spirits too. His uncure illness was due to too much scared from the spirits. "...If you think my revive was not normal...why didn't you say so? Why pretend friendly to me? I could have just leave you alone..." He said gripping Izanagi's handkercheif on his elbow. "I guess...I shouldn't come back afterall. And just...be dead."
"N-no, it's not what you think..." After listened to Matsuo's words, he think Matsuo is telling the truth. "I'm sorry Matsuo...I was just wondering what are you. I can't ask you directly, can I? What if...you know..." Izanagi is trying explain what he was doing.
Staring at at his shoe. "So. You think I am some sort of dangerous and evil spirit possessing somebody's body?" And then look up to Izanagi. "Is it wrong to possess my own body?" As he put his hand on the chest. "I just want to live...to be with my family. I barely even have a friend or enemy to harm. Does these make me dangerous too? It's true I am evil. Because I am a dead man alive. Everyone think so. Like I'm a demon or something. Now that I had died once and come back to life...Can't I enjoy the rest of my life with people I love?" He really really want to be with the person he love and enjoy the rest of the days is in human form before revealing 'her'self on Izanagi's seventeenth birthday. As he is telling half of the truth, his eyes began to watery. Unbuckling his uniform. "I still can feel, think and eat, like normal people does. I was a sick person. Who wants my organ anyway? Besides, I know my parents never want their only son's corpse to be incomplete...Do I need to cut open my chest to show you?" He said walking nearer to the kodama and Izanagi.

"There's no way you're just a boy's soul." Umeda replied, moving to stand directly over Matsuo, looking down into the young man's eyes. "Being alive after death doesn't make you evil... but being a spirit that has enough power to even make you warm to the touch... is." Noe's coat flared out as he stepped between Matsuo and Izanagi. "You're no boy... yet you're familiar to me... who are you, Matsuo? Who are you really?"
(((OOC: Hehe, just because they take out the organs doesn't mean people will use them. They're just taken out. If the person was an organ donor, then the organs are donated for transplant, yes. However, they're taken out to keep the body from filling with semi-explosive gasses. See, when organs and tissue start to deteriorate, they fill up with gasses caused by bacteria in the body. In some occasions, if the organs that have gasses, aren't cut... they can actually explode. It wouldn't look very good if a body was in a casket and then all the sudden the stomach exploded open. Plus, these gasses also cause the body to expand and swell, another reason to take them out if the person is going to be viewed for a time (in the US, it's usually close to a week that people can see the body in a casket. Say they died on Monday and the Funeral is on Saturday, they'd be embalmed Tuesday and the body would be available for viewing from Tuesday or Wednesday through to Saturday prior to the funeral.). That's why taking the organs out is a part of the embalming process.)))
