"Guards may be experienced but they pull their punch, because you've trained with them it is now ingrained in you to pull yours. On this ship we don't hold back, we fight to kill. Because here it is kill or be killed." Aidan said looking at Louis. "You will get the chance to try your hand, but be prepared if my crew plays dirty. There are no rules for fights here."

Louis looked at Aidan in confusion, "Surely there must be some sort of code of conduct?" he asked, rather perplexed by this. To the prince... there were always rules. About everything. Duels especially.

"The only code of conduct is to announce the challenge. Rules on the ship come through the chain of command and mine is the highest here. And there are no rules to fighting, everything and anything is allowed." Aidan said giving a small cough.

"Well, at least I'll know I'm fighting a challenge then." Louis replied, rather glad there was at least that rule. It meant he didn't have to guard his back, twenty-four seven... "Perhaps you should get some rest, Captain?" the prince asked with a slight smirk. "It wouldn't do to set sail with a cough now, would it?"

Aidan gave a raised eyebrow at Louis' telling him to get some rest. "As should you, morning starts early on this ship." Aidan said smirking.

"You think me unable to rise early?" Louis asked, folding his arms over his chest before heading toward the cabin door. "Think again, captain. Appearances... can be oh so decieving." With a nod of his head as a farewell, the prince left Aidan and headed back down to his own bunk.

Aidan gave a small chuckle and lay down on his bed as Louis left. His chest ached a bit, but he just needed rest it had been a tiring day dealing with royals. This particular royal intrigued him however, he was far to interesting to not watch how he would do. Before he thought he would just hand him off to Bui but now maybe not.

Yawning, Louis realized he was rather tired. He sat down on his bunk, thinking over the days events. Aidan was an interesting one... and he secretly wondered just how the young man acted as a captain. Would he be any different in the morning? With another yawn, the prince lay down, arms under his head as his eyes slipped closed.

Aidan was up with the rooster's crow at the morning light. He breathed in the scent of the ocean deeply. It wasn't the most optimum conditions to set sail today, clouds hung over the sky barely threatening a storm.
"Wake up you lazy dogs." came Bui's voice jokingly over the small snores of those that had been sleeping. Large footsteps stopped before Louis' bed. "That means you princess." Bui growled. He didn't know the clean boy and he wasn't sure he wanted to.

Louis' eyes snapped open and he stared up at Bui. "Am I to assume you're the first mate on this ship then?" the prince asked, not moving. Mainly because Bui was blocking his exit of the bed.

"Yeah i'm the first mate princess now lets get up we have a ship to get moving." Bui said moving to the stairs and up to the main deck. Other's followed him up to deck where Aidan greeted them with a slight nod before going to the main mast rope ladder he quickly scaled it up to the crow's nest.

Stretching his arms up over his head, Louis followed Bui up onto the deck. The bright morning light, glinting off the sea's waves, nearly blinded the prince for a moment and thus the blond had to shield his eyes. Blinking to better regain his sight, he was rather surprised to see Aidan climbing up the mast like a little monkey.

Aidan hoped over the ledge of the crow's nest. Standing straight he took a deep breath of the high ocean air. "The wind is blowing to the west of us we'll get out of port and the open the sails." Aidan ordered to Bui.
"Aye aye capt'n. Ye 'eard the capt'n get 'er moving boys." Bui called out and the crew got moving.

Sighing, Louis folded his arms over his chest. "And just exactly what am I supposed to do to... 'get 'er moving'?" he asked Bui. He was a prince... he didn't exactly know the fine arts of moving a ship from port...

"Don' get sassy boy." Bui growled. "You get to start rowing with da rest of dem to get da ship out of port." Bui said pointing to the oars that were being pushed out of the ship to get it moving.
