[Homicidal Love]

As Kurama led Rose through the complex he showed her the living room, dining room, kitchen, and their main training facility. However, as the sun began to set he brought her back to the rec room where Yusuke and Kuwabara were in a two on one match with Jaime at the foosball table. So far she was undefeatable. Though Kurama had done much talking about Rose's new living establishment he hadn't been able to take his mind off their kiss.

With her curtains left open it wasn't long before Tenma was woken by the sun. Flopping over she was startled when her eyes fell on something red. After shooting up and gazing on it the girl was able to calm herself once she saw it was a harmless rose. Lifting it gingerly she looked over, curious as to why Hiei had came back to leave it. Skimming the note she almost felt a pange of nausea as she realized this was his way of saying thank you. However, instead of sending both straight to the trash, she brought them to her closet where she hid the note and hung the flower to dry. She wanted to preserve it in its current state.

Suddenly the girl got a sense that Toguro was headed her way and she quickly pulled on a black pair of fitted shorts and another black tank top. Once more she dumped her pitcher of water over her head in order to smooth down her hair just to make sure she was presentable. Her Master never came to her room.

Rose thought of their kiss every five minutes through the tour, but she knew it wasn't all she had to think about. When they returned to the rec room she left Kurama to stand next to the foosball table to watch the current game, learning how to play as she did.


Toguro knocked on his students door once before opening it and walking in with a close friend following close behind. "Tenma this is Ryuu, He shall start helping with your training" Toguro stated, motioning to the tall dark haired figure beside him.

"Hello, nice to meet you" Ryuu said as he gave a bow, his red eyes, trained on the student before him. She was more prettier than he had expected. He felt he could have fun with her, If toguro didn't mind that is. He'd have to ask.

As not to seem clingy Kurama picked up a book and sat down on the couch. There was no doubt in his mind they would be watching a movie later on so he had already claimed his seat. Of course, he left enough room beside him for Rose.

Before giving her rod a violent twist, firing the ball into the boy's goal, Jaime gave a smirk as she sensed Kurama and Rose enter. "Rose!" She exclaimed as her fellow female came over to watch. "Glad you could make it! You can play loser if you like, since I've almost finished these guys off."

Tenma allowed her towel to rest on her shoulders as she turned to acknowledge Toguro. Returning the bow she also kept a keen eye on the new comer. There was no question in her mind as to why he was friends with her Master, but there was something about him that concerned her. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Master Ryuu. Does this mean I won't be training with you this morning, Master Toguro?"

"Alright, I hope I do alright, they don't have things like this in the Reikai" Rose said with a shrug, unaware of the dropped jaws that came from both Yusuke and Kuwabara which resulted in them missing jaime scoring another point.


"That is Correct. Me and Ryuu shall be switching off, I expect you to not give him any trouble" Toguro said sternly watching Tenma before turning around and leaving the two behind to do his own thing.

"I've heard about you from Toguro and I'm curious of how strong you are" Ryuu said as he walked up to Tenma before walking around her, getting a good look at her. "I didn't expect you to be as gorgeous as you are" he stated adding a hiss to the ending s in gorgeous. His name gave it all away, he was a dragon demon, though most didn't expect the obviousness.

With a triumphant fist to the air it was apparent that was the final point she needed to win. "20-0 match, gentlemen! Alright Rose, your turn. Don't worry its easy, especially against these two." At that she moved Rose by her hips to the most advantageous spot for reaching her rods and dropped the ball in for the next game.

Tenma couldn't seem to look into the demon's eyes. She didn't enjoy being circled like prey, especially when he only seemed genuinely interested. "Aesthetic appreciation varies from every person I suppose." Her answer was short but, she prayed, she also gave him nothing to go off of.

It didn't take long for Rose to get into the game and soon she was winning 15-4. Her being new to the game had let Kuwabara and Yusuke to get some points until she was used to the controls. Since then they hadn't made one point. Eventually she beat them before taking a seat next to Kurama, tired from that one game.

"Alright, now lets get to that training, lead the way" Ryuu stated as he stopped in front of her. "But first look me in the eyes" he ordered as he looked down on her, being about 5 inches taller. He had noted her lack of eye contact, this made him curious about her. Why did she avoid eye contact?

"Alright!" Now that Kuwabara and Yusuke had managed to lose miserably twice in a row they were tired of foosball that night. "So, Rose, since you're the new girl you get to choose what movie we get to watch. Horror or chic flick?" That sound of a chic flick released a symphony of moans and groans from Kuwabara and Yusuke but they were quickly silenced when Jaime hurled one of her boots in their direction.

Checking to make sure her eyes revealed nothing Tenma tilted her chin up to look at the man. His eyes were a vibrant red, but her stare remained stoic. Nothing about this man was going to phase her, that was her decision. "Are we content, Master Ryuu?" This was something she may have said to Carolyn, but she had too much respect for Toguro to dare mouth off.

"What's a movie? and what's a chic flick?" Rose asked as she tilted her head slightly to the right in confusion. She's never heard of movies. "Is it a game?" she asked oblivious to her naivety. She didn't care that she didn't know, she was just curious.


"Why yes, my dear pupil" Ryuu said as he grinned, showing his sharp fangs. "Now which way?" He asked as he gently pushed her forward with a hand on the small of her back. When they fight he was planning on revealing his Dragon form but he was also debating with himself whether or not to keep it secret for now.

As Jaime stared blankly Kurama set his book down and looked over at Rose. "This is the machine that tells stories, remember? A horrow movie is supposed to be scary while chic flicks are supposed to be romantic tales." He hoped that was a sufficient explanation since he had never met someone in her position.

Feeling the man touch her back, one of her scars specifically, caused Tenma to step forward and away from his hand. With confident steps she led her new instructor through the forest and to their training clearing. Years ago Toguro had uprooted numerous trees to create suitable grounds for the girl. Once content with how far in she brought him the teen turned on her toes to face him again, waiting for instruction.

"oh, how about the scary one" Rose said nodding, letting them know she understood. A movie was a moving picture, It probably was like a videophone recording or conversation. "Thanks for the explanation" Rose said smiling at Kurama happily. She just hoped he didn't mind.

"Attack me with all you've got" Ryuu said as he drew his sword from the sheathe on his back that was hidden by his leather trench-coat. At the same time two black and red wings came out from his back, folding up against his back for the moment so as to keep out of the way. He was sure she would be used to flying attacks due to Carolyn but has she face an opponent that could breathe fire hot enough to melt stone?

As Jaime groaned there were cheers coming from the guys, minus Kurama who seemed content with his couch partner. "Fine, I guess horror it is." At that she slipped in the video and plopped onto her cushion with her arms in a pouty cross.

Kurama couldn't help but smile at the reactions from his companions. It was amusing, Jaime had yet to convince anyone to watch a chic flick - mostly because she was the only female of the group typically. Looking over at Rose the fox demon returned her smile and whispered reassuringly. "Don't worry about Jaime, she acts like this every time we chose a movie other than the chic flick." Hopefully that was enough to rid her of any misplaced guilt she might feel.

It was odd for Tenma to have the reigns during training because she was there to do just that, train. This wasn't some sort of audition, but she had to follow her Master's command. No matter what it may be. With a slight flashing blur of cream skin and black clothe the girl disappeared. With her energy perfectly masked and her speed making her invisible the teen moved to an advantageous location and came at the new man with twin cresent blades that she had created with energy.

Rose nodded and looked to the screen, it didn't take her long to grab onto Kurama's arm and hide her face in it. The movie was scary, nothing like she had seen on one trip to the Makai with her father. The was different. When she was hiding her face, her ears were down along with her tail, she should have chose the chic flick.

Ryuu had his eyes closed as he stepped to the side as he blocked her attack with claws that grew from his fingers. right after he took off into the air and flew high enough to be covered by the clouds. He was planning on messing with her than performing one of his strongest moves. Smirking, he flew back down, right at her, his sharp claws ready to tear flesh.

At one point Kurama scanned the room to see Jaime with a death grip on Kuwabara's arm. Of course, Kuwabara was wincing in pain. With a tender hand Kurama rubbed Rose's arm, reassuring her that he was there.

It didn't suprise Tenma when she missed her new Master. After all, he was a friend of Toguro's. There were two things the girl knew gave her an advantage, but in case Ryuu had psychic powers as well she made sure to block that information. Normally Tenma would hav stood her ground and simply caught the attack, but this wasn't someone she wanted to take that chance with. A black glow engulfed the girl's hand as the demon closed in and, before impact, she lifted her hand and created an infallible shield of energy.

Rose smiled as she lifted her head, attempting to be brave, to show Kurama she wasn't a wimp, though it totally failed when she hid her face again as a human was ripped to shreds by a wolf-man thing.


Ryuu smirked as he raked his claws over the sheild, leaving deep gouges in it. Seeing how serious she was he flew up into the air and into the cover of clouds. It was there that he turned into his dragon form. Letting out a roar that shook the very air, he dived, folding his wings back as he tucked his limbs and horned head over his belly, allowing his tough back scales to take the brunt of the force as his body slammed into the earth creating a crater and dust cloud. Emerging from the dust, the sun shone off his black and red scales while his dark green eyes stared his opponent down. He too was getting serious while still keeping a light feeling about them.

Even the every brave Kurama jumped slightly at the sudden carnage, understanding why Rose found it so startling. Soon the movie would end and she wouldn't have to hide, but until then Kurama could say he did mind the circumstances.

A transforming demon is something that Tenma had never seen with her eyes, but she had read about them. Based on her literature the female's previous guess that he was a dragon demon was apparently accurate as she looked over the winged beast. Another thing that she noted was he was a dragon from weatern literature, the larger and bulkier of the two she knew of. With an even stare she met the creature's eyes, not daring to back down.
