Wolf was,once again,caught off by Kirby's agility,and expected his teeth to shatter as Kirby's foot impacted his jaw.He was hit by one of Kirby's gun lasers,slamming against the wall.A set of spider cracks flew through the plaster wall as Wolf landed limply on the ground,pretending to be defeated."And Kirby has.."A milisecond before the word 'Won' came over the speaker system,Wolf grabbed his blaster and started shooting at Kirby,launching himself at the puffball also,intending on grabbing his foot.

Kirby felt pleased with his handiwork as he watched Wolf smash against the wall. He turned his back and waved to the crowd, thinking he had won as Wolf fell to the ground. He heard Wolf's blaster being fired. He turned abruptly to see a hail of green lazers flying in his direction. Kirby dodged most of them by rolling to the side. One final laser was heading for the space between his eyes. Kirby smiled and bent over backward, the lazer flying not even an inch above his face. The crowd ate it up. Suddenly, Wolf had his clawed hand around Kirby's left foot. Wolf moved so fast that Kirby could barely see him. The lazers were just a distraction. Wolf began spinning around wildly like a tornado, and Kirby was the weight on the end. He was spun faster and faster until the entire room was nothing but a blur. Wolf suddenly let go, Kirby flying almost completely straight up at the ceiling. His back contacted a large steel I-beam that stretched across the roof. Kirby's breath was knocked out of him and he fell to the ground. His vision became blurry as he hit the ground. Any breath he might have regained was knocked back out. Kirby coughed and sputtered, trying to regain his breath again. Kirby looked up and noticed Wolf standing back overtop of him. His arms were crossed and a sinister smile played at his lips, his sharpened teeth showing. Kirby pulled his feet underneath him and pushed himself upwards, crashing into Wolf's chin again, but this time with the top of his head.

(nice distraction, Fairy. I'm not finished yet though. Give me your best shot.)

Wolf was pretty much getting sick of this puffballs chin shots,and as he flew off...once again...he turned in mid-air so his feet were facing the wall.He rebounded off the wall,making him faster as he flew towards Kirby.He turned once again,aiming a kick at Kirby's face,but the puffball caught Wolf's foot in his mouth,threatening on biting down on Wolf's foot.He squirmed and kicked,but Kirby kept a firm grip on his foot.He suddenly spinned himself,Kirby spinning in a comical fashion,until he was forced to leave go off his foot,but off them been launched against opposite walls.Wolf glanced down at his foot to find a load off saliva on it."Yuck!"He groaned,nearly gagging.

((Yucky yucky spit gonk ))

Kirby was awefully dizzy from that trick that Wolf pulled off. He also had a taste of Wolf's foot in his mouth. His shoe tasted rather expensive. He scraped his hands on his tongue trying to get the taste out. Kirby drew his blaster and prepared to fire another flurry of shots. Just then, the bell rang and the fight ended. Wolf looked rather disappointed that the round was over. The emcee's voice came over the loudspeakers. "It seems we have run out of time. It was to be expected, though, with two great fighters." A roar came over the crowd in agreement. "The winner, by unanimous decision is..."

(Sorry, I ran out of ideas. Besides, it couldn't go on forever. Zappy shall be the one to decide. After all, its his thread.)

"ah man well guess it couldn't go on forever" Travis planted both legs on the floor getting up from his bike but is stuck in place "what the grr COME ON damn it HEY could some one lend me a hand? I'm stuck"

((Perfect. twisted ))

As a Battle Center employee was sent to help Touchdown, a voice rang out over the stadium. "Thank you, everyone, for participating in this tournament. Fighters, please step back and take these few moments to rest while our judge makes his decision." Wolf stauntered off to his starting area while Kirby rubbed furiously at his tongue.

"Well, sir? What do you think?"

"It seems that this match would be very fun if allowed to finish. It made my blood boil just watching them! But I think, given the time allowed, that it's pretty obvious who landed more hits." The young man in blue leaned back, pointing to a certain competitor.

The loudspeaker screeched for half a second, getting the attention of all below. "Our judge has reached his decision. The winner is Kirby, using a strong offensive strategy. Congratulations, Kirby! You have earned your title as the Midway Planet Champion!"

"We ask that all participants in this contest, in addition to a Mr. Travis Touchdown, go to the conference room to wait for further instruction."

A room, opposite the entrance, and the same one which all the other competitors before had gone in, started flashing, while the Battle Center employee finally pulled Travis out of his motorbike.

(OMG! IM SO HONORED!!!)

Kirby heard his name come over the speakers and his face lit up when he realized he had won. He waved to the crowd, already screaming at how amazing the fight was and how it turned out. He made his way into the conference room as the crowd finally died down. Meta-knight was already on his way. He was chuckled darkly underneath is mask and a corner of his lips pulled up in a dark smile. It seems as though I underestimated my competition. I won't make the same mistake again. He got to the conference room and congradulated Kirby on his victory. All the while, he was formulating a battle plan for the fights that were sure to follow.

Wolf's face fell as Kirby's name was said over the speakers,and he swore silently to himself.Even though he was stricken with failure,he couldn't help feeling admiration for Kirby,he did put up a damn good fight after all.Wolf bowed to Kirby before he left the stage,and waved to the crowd,bowing to them as well.As he left the stage and went to the reception,the fighters there congratulated on his great fight,telling him he was this close to winning.He sat himself down on one of the sofas,smiling to himself.

upon getting freed from his predicament Travis was anything but happy "OK I have one thing to say be for I leave..... scream WHO WAS THE A** WHO F***ED WITH MY BIKE" he trend behind him and saw the man who escorted him to the center " scream YOUR F***ING DEA..."one of the employees maneged to sedate Travis before the bloodshed.afterwerds the employe dragged the drugged Travis to the conference room

As the last person entered the confrence room, the lights dimmed noticeably, and all around the room, lights hit the occupants, as a voice rang throughout the room.

"Kirby, Wolf, Travis, Ash, Dedede, Captain Falcon, Rick, Metaknight, and Link," A light hit each person as their name was said. "Congratulations on completing your preliminary challenge, defeating a battlebot. This has proved your worth in entering the Hall of Battle, and competing in the Trials. Once we arrive, this group will be your home, your team, your fellows. You will compete and cooperate with those around you, and treat each other, if not well, then at least tolerably."

A hole opened in the floor, a spotlight appeared there, and a platform rose out of it. A young man with red hair, clothed in blue, with a long sword over his back appeared to the group.

"I am Roy. I'm going to be your Team Captain during the Trials."

(lol. its Roy. he was one of my favorite characters in Melee. for those of you who dont know who he his, just try not to piss him off or hell pretty much kick your a**. hes a force to be reckoned with. hes kind of like a clone of marth, just much stronger. MUCH stronger.)

((I heart Roy,I always play as him in Melee 3nodding Just to tell you,I still have,and play,SSBM.You may think this is pointless,but you've got characters in Melee that aren't in Brawl.eg Roy,Mewtwo,Young Link etc.))

"So," said Roy, "are there any questions? Now is the perfect time to get to know your teammates, and the ships will be ready to take off in about twenty minutes. And don't worry, Travis. Your motorbike is being fixed as we speak."

Travis completely ignored him taping his fingers on the table impatiently.
