((hi, sorry this took so long, I have four other RPs. Insane, I know. biggrin if you ever need Nana to say something I give both of you [but ONLY you two] permission to godmod for me a bit. I think you know my character well enough for that.))

Nana hung back and followed behind, looking around at the abandoned toys. It was all so sad, how they had been loved so little and just thrown away to rip or rust...

But there was love here. It was so visible, the love among the toys and dolls. It had been magnified a hundred times when Indya found her brother... everyone knows the love of a Cheshire is unrivaled, incomparable. Nana absolutely beamed just watching.

"I'd like to thank you with all my heart for sheltering us. Pray tell, dear Cheshire," she said quietly, "what is your name?"

He blinked, surprised at Nana's question. "If I had a name, it's been long forgotten. Everyone's called me Cheshire, so Cheshire I've been. Pardon me." He said, following Indya. "What is it you wish to ask me?"

Tick-Tock looked up at Nana and frowned, now that Indya and Cheshire were gone, she decided to speak. "Haven't you noticed?"

'You do know what's going on in wonderland don't you?" her face remained straight. she didn't know what he'd do if he found out the princess had threatened her hide , but she feared it might not be pretty.

He grinned, but it seemed rather sad. "I'm afraid being locked away here for so long has caused me to fall further and further from the loop." His eye brow raised suspiciously. "Why? What have I missed?"

Honestly, he didn't seem surprised. "I was wondering when she'd make her move." He shrugged. "What can you expect from the bloodline of The Queen of Hearts?" He turned to continue his escort, but turned back to Indya abruptly. "Did she threaten you too? Is that why you're here?"

Tick-Tock looked up at Nana and frowned, now that Indya and Cheshire were gone, she decided to speak. "Haven't you noticed?"

She fiddled with the rim of her hat. "Cheshire is an animal, no matter how, Tick-Tock, human he appears." Balancing herself on her cane, she sparked once and continued. "He's been down here in hiding, Tick-Tock, for awhile...You can't, Tick-Tock, keep an animal locked away." She sighed, placing her top hat back on her head and continued. "He's hiding it well, Tick-Tock, but he's been getting ill, Tick-Tock, and restless, being, Tick, locked away, Tock, like this." She locked her gaze with The Mad Hatter and Nana. "You guys should, Tick, be able to relate, Tock." She looked over at the conversing Cheshire siblings. "It'll happen to Indya too, Tick, if we stay here, Tock, too long."

"He's...ill?" Nana repeated, her eyes wide. "But-- but how can he be ill?" But all at once she understood, looking over at Indya and her brother. His smile seemed almost forced and sad, the way a Cheshire's never ought to be. Cheshires were meant to be happy and free, not all locked up in the dark like this. She couldn't bear the thought of that happening to Indya too. "Tick-Tock, how can we help them?" she asked, turning her big eyes on the robot girl. "How can we help Cheshire get better and make sure Indya doesn't get sick too?"

"He's...ill?" Nana repeated, her eyes wide. "But-- but how can he be ill?" But all at once she understood, looking over at Indya and her brother. She couldn't bear the thought of that happening to Indya too. "Tick-Tock, how can we help them?" she asked, turning her big eyes on the robot girl. "How can we help Cheshire get better and make sure Indya doesn't get sick too?"

Tick-Tock thought long and hard about any possibility of helping The Cheshire's stay well. "Bringing any of us out of The, Tick-Tock, Underground is risky, but tomorrow, when we go to see your, Tick, father, Tock, maybe we can let them, Tock, get some fresh air." She blushed and rubbed the back of her head. "Well, as fresh as Jabberwocky air, Tick-Tock, could be. I hear it has a, Tick-Tock, brimstone or burning aroma."

Nana frowned. "You're right, it's not a very nice place. Still, it's better than staying here in the Underground or outside but still within the Queendom. But I haven't seen my father in so long.... it could be very strange. But don't worry, Tick-Tock, my tattoo will prove to them who I am. We'll help Indya and Cheshire, I promise."

But I haven't seen my father in so long.... it could be very strange. But don't worry, Tick-Tock, my tattoo will prove to them who I am. We'll help Indya and Cheshire, I promise."

Tick-Tock smiled happily. "Good. Helping is what Tick-Tock likes best." Tilting her head to the side she blinked. "What is your, Tick, father like?"

The White Rabbit ducked, barely missing the books flying after him. "What do you mean you can't find them!?!?" Rosalie shrieked. The White Rabbit stuttered. "I-I'm sorry, your majesty. It's as if they've...disappeared." Turning, she growled. "You stupid rodent, people don't just disappear!" She paced back and forth, violent strides, face red with rage. "Send out the card guards! Leave no stone unturned! Burn everything to the ground if you have to! I want their heads!"

Cheshire nodded grimly. "Yes, death seems to be closing in on all of us..."
"Unfortunately, not only is The Underground a sanctuary, it is also a prison." He ran a hand through his golden hair and sighed. "But, no matter. Follow me and I'll escort you four to your rooms. We've dallied here long enough." As he walked back to Nana, Tick-Tock, and The Mad Hatter, he looked over his shoulder at Indya. "Keep your guard up. I have a feeling that our new Queen of Hearts is going to be quite a handful from here on out."
