I live in the US, and the only American shows that don't suck are Lost, South Park, Futurama, and America's Next Top Model. And I recently got addicted to Project Runway.

Awww... they're not all bad - they're responsible for some good tv shows!
House, The Simpsons, 24, Bones, Hells Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, New Amsterdam (which I am loving), Canterbury's Law, 'Til Death, Family Guy...

Not to mention their sister company Fox Searchlight who bring great British Movies to the States like Shooting Fish, 28 Days Later, The History Boys and Bend it Like Beckham.

Fox is the best basic channel.

Well it's never been repeated on terrestrial over here as far as I know, and it's never really penetrated English culture that much - not the same way Friends has, anyway. I only got to see it because I rented out some DVDs.
