Kazuki and Tanemon find the trail back to Dragon Eye Lake. They quickly run, but hear some voices. Kazuki looks around and notices a Meramon and some others. He then carefully walks to where the Meramon is. He finds behind a single tree, hoping the Meramon won't notice him. He looks a thte other tamers and wonders what they are going to do.

Jase let out a big, booming laugh, as he pulled his hand out his pocket, holding his digivice. "Ya, we can take em...ready, Dante?", he said as the demidevimon fluttered off his shoulder. "Not only ready, but anxious!"
At that, Jase held up his digivice, facing towards Dante, and clicked a button on the side, making both the gadget and the monster glow.
Soon, where a small imp was flying, there was now a towering demon.
"Dante the Devimon, at your service." Then the devilish digimon reached towards the Meramon with his left arm, and gripped the firey creature's entire face, the flames having no affect, thanks to Dante's demonic power. He proceeded to lift the Meramon off his feet by his head, and smirked.
Jase then walked forward. "So then, any particular reason you attacked us, or should I just have my friend here impale you?"

"D-Devimon?" He said. Always the quick thinker, he calmed himself down, and repeated Jase's question. "Why did you try and attack us?" Ren asked.
The Meramon just laughed and talked in a crazy giberous.
Ren sighed. "Jase, do what you want with him. It seems there's nothing we can do about his condition."

Jase, without looking away from the Meramon, tilted his towards Dante, and calmly said "Make sure I'm not made a liar, and impale the sucker."
"No.....not impale..." Dante said, in voice so calm it was almost monotone. Jase glanced up at his friend. "...and why not impale?"
"He is still made of living flame....I am already having to put effort into not being burned by merely holding him...no doubt he would singe me if I plunged my hand into him....so...instead...." As he said this, he tightened his grip on the Meramon's face, until it's head caved in, leaving the body to crumple to the ground. Now the neck of the body was slowly decomposing, with slight sparkles at the edges of the wound, showing that the body's data was slowly dissipating.
"ugh...no matter what they tell you about digimon, yer never quite prepared for the death of one. They tell you that they will just "disintegrate" once they die....but...well, after all, they may be data, but they are still living creatures, eh?" Jase commented, glancing at Ren.
Dante looked down at the two, shaking the remains of the meramon's head off his arm. "Well, it looks like it was a good choice to come down and meet you two."

"Dammit I have to trudge through this god forsaken Dessert now cause the damn card Expired on me...... and that fall sucked majorly.... "says Hiandromon as He walks though the Gear savanna, having crashed about a mile into the desolate place. Even though it extremly hot and Humid in this place, he had never seen it so lifeless and dull before. Come to think of it, it has been Quiet as Hell Ever since He had Entered the Savanna.......... And than it Dawned on him,"I'm being tracked!" He exclaims in his head as the skulls on both shoulds Open up and Begin to scan the area for hostile creatures.

Ren nodded. "They might be so." He glanced at Pupumon. Of course I want them to be alive. "Yes well, it was good meeting you as well." he said. Suddenly, his digivice began to beep.
"CRAP!! Meeting. Im gonna be late...come on Pupumon!" Ren takes off, then stops and turns around and waves. "Bye, it was good meeting you." Then turns back around and takes off toward the Information Senate Building.
((Im grounded for awhile so I had to go, so I wouldnt make you wait any longer. Im just on real quick to take care of things.))

Kazuki watches as one of them leave. He then decides to leave himself. He wants to head to Toy and Tama Town, but instead, he decides to go to Network City. Tanemon fells sleepy again and falls asleep. Kazuki holds on tight to her as he walks away. He then heads to Network City, hoping that his digimon would be there. He hoped everything was alright with his digimon.

"So we keep going west?" said Ketomon.
"Yup," said Jessilyn, "Let's take a break first."

After ten minutes of resting, Jessilyn stood up and picked up Ketomon as she said, "Let's go. It's wiser to keep moving than to stay in one spot."

Terriermon using his ears to provide watever shade he could for them
"Im super sorry E-mon......I wish i could help more that this"
Emo sick from traveling through the heat vomited
"Terry i dont think were gonna make it,....weve been traveling for hours and getting nowhere. I cant go on"
Imiddiatly worried terriermon says
" E-mon we cant stop we have to keep going......if we stop now we really are dead"
Emo turns his head to see an equally trialed and worn seeker and patamon who seem on the verge of collapsing

"It's like the beach!! Except blazing hot!! And no WATER anywhere!!!" Tsurugi said with a laugh as he walked onto the hot sand. He kept trekking deeper into the desert, not really paying attention.

Kay walks into the "desert", which was now seeming more like one of those African Savannas she had seen pictures of during one of her classes back at the real world. She slowly turns to Tsurugi and says, "I thought you said this was supposed to be a desert..."
