I'm jealous. Maybe I'll go learn how to knit also. I only know how to crochet, and even those stitches half the time don't look as neat as that.
Edit: Watching a youtube video teaching me how to knit. It reminds me of crocheting, except.. almost less complicated. Probably would be easier on my wrists too. Crocheting makes my wrist turn in a repetitive motion a lot and make it hurt and crack.

I'm keeping a livejournal of the results, if you want to see it...I'm trying to keep it well and snarky, because I like snark. xd And knitting would be easier on wrists for sure. You keep pretty much straight wrists in it. 3nodding

Arcanist Angus http://www.atlantavampirealliance.com/forum/index.php?topic=1628 for more information! Help us find Paige! You know, I don't often want to backhand people, but both the girl involved here and the so-called 'vampire' both need a good smack for trying to pull this crap. Him for basically playing her like a cheap fiddle and her for buying into his lines to the point of running away like this. There are smart ways to do this kind of thing, and this one will pretty much ensure you never get to see each other again, kids.

...of the Cunning Flame I reposted the story and NCMEC info on Paige in the Buddhist guild. Hopefully they'll keep an eye out too, and we can help. 3nodding I blame Steph for a lot, but this one...I blame brainwashing, a silly idea of what romance should be, and hormones. Though I suppose one could still claim Twilight, all things considered. ninja

The high school I graduated from. I still can't believe it. Like 3 kids sent home for biting people. *facepalm*

It's the hand that holds the needle that the wrist has to twist back and forth and it hurts.. I never use my LJ anymore. I just never have anything to post about. I live such a boring life. I've decided to take up baking a bit. Maybe I should post about that.

I mean, I don't blame White Wolf for what a few psychos did in the southern US, I can't blame Meyers because I don't have a fondness for her. Yeah, she's propagating some stupid things, but something has gone really wrong closer to home when people can't recognise that what she's writing about, bullshit or no, is fiction.

I can't blame her for the stupidity of others. If people read the book, and find it to be truth, and look for this in reality, then surely, something is wrong with the readers. But I suppose, that if she did this on purpose, much in the same way that some video game companies use therapists, psychiatrists, and other mental health care professionals, to make games addictive, then I could, but I doubt this is the case. People who get too involved into such things on that level, surely need, preferably, some sense smacked into them.
Hope that goes well for you Calixti. ^^

I sometimes forget that Margot Alder is well known outside of pagan circle. I was listening to NPR, when a story basically doing a literary analysis of modern vampire novels ( I HEART NPR) came on (her conclusion; modern [last decade] vampire novels/shows talk about struggles to be moral, and dialogs of what to do when you have power). I double taked on Alder doing the story.
Because I forget these things.
