"Come on son. Smell the spices. You're the chef of the house," Benjamin playfully pushed Alex towards the heaps of straw bags containing different types of herbs and spices. He carefully took a little bit of each and sniffed them before telling his father which one to purchase.

"Amazing sir. You have a very sensitive nose," a young Indian girl approached him with a smile. Alex sent her a smile of her own.

"Why, thank you. I was always the one who cooks in the family so I know how to differentiate ingredients from the smell. It seems like you are familiar with spices too, Miss?"

"Meena. Call me Meena," the girl said.

"Miss Meena," Alex said but stopped at the raised hand of Meena's.

"Meena, just Meena sir." She said.
